- a local database hereinafter referred to as a local DB
- data stored in the master DB is transferred to the local of the client.
- the data is downloaded to the DB and desired data processing is performed by the client.
- the master DB data Since the master DB data is downloaded to the client's local DB, it is connected to the server even in an offline state where the client and server are not connected via a network, even though it is an open system that operates in a web environment. Data processing that is the same as when you are doing can be done at the client. However, in this case, it is necessary to ensure the consistency between the master DB and the local DB, and various mechanisms are provided for this purpose (see, for example, Patent Documents 1 to 4).
- Patent Documents 3 and 4 if only the difference information of different versions is downloaded from the server to the client with reference to the version information of the database, the communication load required for one download is reduced. It is possible to reduce. However, since the techniques described in Patent Documents 3 and 4 simply extract difference information of different versions, the extracted information is data that is necessary when executing a certain data process in the client. Is not limited.
- the present invention has been made to solve such a problem.
- the entire data stored in the server is saved while eliminating the waste of downloading and storing all the data stored in the server to the client. It is intended to provide an operational feeling that can be operated.

- the extracted target data and data items are configured by cubes.
- FIG. 2 is a diagram showing the structure of the master data stored in the master data storage unit 11.
- the master data storage unit 11 stores master data composed of a plurality of rows (rows) and a plurality of columns (columns). Data items such as item 1, item 2, item 3,... Are stored in each column constituting the first row.
- actual data relating to each column is stored.
- the data (A1, A2, A3, A4...) After the second row in the first column is actual data related to the data item “item 1”. Further, the data (B1, B2, B3, B4...) On and after the second row in the second column is actual data related to the data item “item 2”.
- the target data that the data extraction unit 13 extracts from the master data storage unit 11 is actual data that matches the data acquisition request. For example, when a data acquisition request that requests acquisition of data related to item 1 and item 2 from the server 10 is sent from the client 20, the data extraction unit 13 uses the actual data (A1, A2, A3 related to item 1). , A4%) And actual data (B1, B2, B3, B4%) Relating to item 2 are extracted as target data.
- the data extraction unit 13 reads the actual data ( A1, A2, A3, A4..., (B1, B2, B3, B4...) (C1, C2, C3, C4%), (D1, D2, D3, D4. ..) Extract actual data matching the search key as target data.

- the extracted data transmission unit 14 transmits the target data and data items extracted by the data extraction unit 13 to the client 20.
- the target data to be transmitted here is not all the data stored in the master data storage unit 11 but a part of the data that matches the data acquisition request.
- the data items relate to all columns, since the data is one row at most, even if the master data is composed of thousands to tens of thousands of columns, the data amount is not so large. Therefore, even if the target data and the data items of all the columns are combined, the amount of data does not become a major obstacle when transmitting via the communication network 30.
- the extracted data receiving unit 24 of the client 20 receives target data and data items sent from the server 10.
- the data storage unit 25 stores the target data and data items received from the server 10 by the extracted data reception unit 24 in the local data storage unit 21.
- the data items sent from the server 10 and stored in the local data storage unit 21 include not only data items related to the target data matching the data acquisition request but also data items related to data other than the target data. It is. In the present embodiment, all data items (data items of all columns constituting the first row of the master data) included in the master data storage unit 11 of the server 10 are included.
- the display control unit 26 displays the target data and data items stored in the local data storage unit 21 on a display (not shown) in a manner that can be selected by the user interface.
- the target data may be processed and displayed on the screen in a predetermined manner.
- the processing of the target data is, for example, charting or graphing. Alternatively, it may be a simple list.
- the mode selectable by the user interface is, for example, a mode in which the name of the target data or data item is displayed as a selectable GUI, or a check box or radio button for selection together with the name of the target data or data item. It is an aspect to display. In addition, the aspect mentioned here is only an example, and is not limited to this.
- the display control unit 26 is stored in the same row on the master data storage unit 11 as the selected target data. Only the target data may be displayed on the screen in a manner that can be subsequently selected by the user interface, and the other target data may be grayed out so that it cannot be selected.
- the data extraction unit 13 of the server 10 uses the actual data (A1, A2, A3, A4%) Related to the item 1 and the actual data (B1, B2,. B3, B4...) Are extracted from the master data storage unit 11 as target data, and the data items of all the columns in the first row of the master data are extracted from the master data storage unit 11 and transmitted to the client 20. Then, it is assumed that these actual data and data items are displayed by the display control unit 26 of the client 20 as shown in FIG.

- the cube may be reconstructed by the server 10. That is, a cube composed of the target data extracted by the data extraction unit 13 and the data items of all columns is stored in the server 10. Then, when the second data extraction unit 16 extracts the second target data, the stored target data and the data items of all columns are newly combined with the newly extracted second target data. Alternatively, the OLAP cube may be reconstructed and the second extracted data transmission unit 17 may transmit this to the client 20.
- the second display control unit 29 displays the second target data newly stored in the local data storage unit 21 on a screen in a predetermined manner.
- the predetermined mode in this case is different from the display mode such as charting or graphing performed on the target data by the display control unit 26, and the actual data corresponding to the data item selected by the user interface is preview-displayed. It is the mode for making it.
- the preview display in this case is, for example, a list display indicating what kind of actual data the data item has. Since the preview display only needs to know what actual data exists, when the second data extraction unit 16 extracts data from the master data storage unit 11 in response to the second data acquisition request, the user It is preferable to extract, from the master data storage unit 11, the data from which duplication is eliminated among the data related to the data item selected by the interface.
