Abstract

L'invention concerne un dispositif d'interface patient et un procédé d'utilisation du dispositif d'interface patient pour aligner la vertèbre cervicale attenante (416). Le dispositif d'interface patient comprend un moyen de positionnement de patient (618) configuré pour aligner de façon répétitive une région cible d'une vertèbre cervicale de patient (416), pour positionner et maintenir le crâne (615) du patient par rapport à la vertèbre cervicale (416) du patient, de telle sorte que l'articulation atlanto-occipitale est étendue, pour réduire ou éliminer un mouvement côte à côte du crâne (615) du patient et de la vertèbre cervicale (416) du patient, et pour supporter la courbure de la vertèbre cervicale (416) du patient, et un dispositif d'interface patient configuré de façon fonctionnelle pour déplacer en translation une tension appliquée au moyen de positionnement de patient (618), la tension agissant sur la région occipitale du patient pour permettre un mouvement angulaire du moyen de positionnement de patient (618) et pour permettre un mouvement du moyen de positionnement de patient (618) vers et à l'opposé des épaules du patient. Le dispositif illustre l'alignement approprié du crâne (615) du patient par rapport à la vertèbre cervicale, de telle sorte qu'il affecte d'une certaine manière la décompression concentrée dans les disques intervertébraux cervicaux.
