Definitions
- This invention relates to a water server for supplying drinking water from a replaceable raw water container filled with drinking water such as mineral water.
- this type of water server can supply drinking water in a raw water container to a cold water tank and cool the drinking water in the cold water tank with a cooling device.
- the cold water tank In the cold water tank, the closer to the tank bottom, the lower the temperature of the drinking water. For this reason, the cold water tank is connected to a cold water pouring path for pouring the cold water at the bottom of the tank to the outside. It can be poured into.
- drinking water is automatically supplied from the raw water supply path to the upper part of the tank. If the drinking water supplied to the upper part of the tank is allowed to descend to the bottom of the tank as it is, it is mixed with well-cooled drinking water at an early stage, resulting in an increase in temperature and hindering the energy saving operation of the cooling device. For this reason, the baffle which disturbs the fall of the supplied drinking water is provided in the cold water tank. Below the baffle in the cold water tank, cold water having a lower temperature than the drinking water above the baffle is generated, and this cold water is poured out (for example, Patent Documents 1 to 3 below).
- JP 2010-52752 A Japanese Patent Laying-Open No. 2011-102154 (particularly FIG. 1) Japanese Patent Laying-Open No. 2003-12092 (particularly FIGS. 1 and 2)
- a problem to be solved by the present invention is to prevent an unnecessary temperature rise in the cold water in the cold water tank of the water server.
- the present invention basically forms a recess for retaining air on the lower surface of the baffle so that the air in the recess has a heat insulating effect between the baffle and the cold water.
- the air trapped in the recess on the lower surface of the baffle is interposed between the cold water and the baffle below the baffle, heat transfer due to the contact between the baffle that is in contact with drinking water that is relatively near room temperature and the cold water is suppressed. As a result, unnecessary temperature rise in cold water can be prevented.
- the arrangement of the recesses, the area occupied by the lower surface of the baffle, and the depth may be appropriately set as long as a heat insulation effect that suppresses the temperature rise of the cold water below the baffle can be obtained by the presence of air in the recess. Is preferably as large as possible in order to enhance the heat insulation performance.
- the baffle preferably has a plurality of transfer passages for guiding drinking water above the baffle into the baffle and releasing it below the baffle.
- the drinking water above the baffle can be guided below the baffle on the road.
- Air cannot be retained at the same height as the end of the transfer channel. If it is limited to a position higher than the terminal end of the transfer channel, the recess can be formed so as to surround the transfer channel, and the area of the recess in the lower surface of the baffle can be easily secured.
- the baffle is preferably formed of a synthetic resin in order to suppress thermal conductivity and facilitate molding. In this case, allow dimensional errors and assembly errors of the baffle and chilled water tank, and avoid the increase in cost of sealing between the inner periphery of the baffle and chilled water tank with a flexible part such as packing. It is preferable to allow a gap in the direction. If the transfer channel is used, the gap can be narrowed to the extent of error absorption, and the descent of drinking water through the gap can be ignored, but air can pass through the gap. If the baffle has a shape that has a flange along the inner periphery of the cold water tank with a horizontal gap and protrudes downward over the entire circumference, the air held below the baffle by this flange will escape to the gap.
- the recess can be formed from the heel. If the recess is formed from the collar, the circumference of the baffle can be efficiently utilized to secure the area of the recess that occupies the lower surface of the baffle.
- a structure in which the baffle is raised in the cold water tank can be employed. If there is only one leg portion for raising the baffle, it is possible to prevent the area of the recess occupying the lower surface of the baffle from being limited by the leg portion. If the recess is formed from the heel to the leg, the circumference of the baffle and the space between the leg and the heel can be utilized without waste, and the area of the recess occupying the lower surface of the baffle can be secured.
- the present invention includes a cold water tank that cools drinking water supplied from a raw water container through a raw water supply path, and a baffle that hinders the descent of the supplied drinking water, and the baffle in the cold water tank.
- a cold water having a lower temperature than that of the drinking water above the baffle is generated below the water baffle, and in the water server provided so that the cold water is poured out, a recess for retaining air is formed on the lower surface of the baffle.
- FIG. 1 shows a water server according to an embodiment of the present invention.
- the water server includes a housing 1, a cold water tank 2 and a hot water tank 3 incorporated in the housing 1, a container holder 5 on which a replaceable raw water container 4 is placed, and a container holder 5.

- a pump 10 and a flow sensor 11 are assembled.
- the pump 10 When the pump 10 is operated, the drinking water in the raw water supply path 6 is transferred from the raw water container 4 side to the cold water tank 2 side, and the drinking water in the raw water container 4 is supplied to the cold water tank 2.
- the pump 10 transfers the air (including ozone-containing air) in the raw water supply path 6 from the raw water container 4 side to the cold water tank 2 side.
- the flow sensor 11 can detect the state when the drinking water in the raw water supply path 6 runs out while the pump 10 is operating.
- the cold water tank 2 is in a state where air and drinking water are accommodated in two layers.
- a cooling device 12 that cools the drinking water stored in the cold water tank 2 is attached to the cold water tank 2.

It is designed to be kept in low-temperature cold water (about 0 to 10 ° C.) having a lower water temperature.
- the cold water tank 2 is provided with a water level sensor 14 that detects the level of drinking water accumulated in the cold water tank 2.
- the pump 10 When the water level detected by the water level sensor 14 is lowered, the pump 10 is operated in accordance with the drop in the water level, and drinking water is supplied from the raw water container 4 to the cold water tank 2.
- the baffle 13 when drinking water is supplied from the raw water container 4 to the cold water tank 2, the cold water cooled by the cooling device 12 and accumulated in the lower portion of the cold water tank 2 is supplied from the raw water container 4 into the cold water tank 2. Prevents stirring with drinking water at about room temperature.

- the cold water pouring channel 15 is provided with a cold water cock 16 that can be operated from the outside of the housing 1. By opening the cold water cock 16, low-temperature drinking water can be poured from the cold water tank 2 into a cup or the like. Yes.
- the capacity of the cold water tank 2 is smaller than the capacity of the raw water container 4 and is about 2 to 4 liters.
- the upper end of the tank connection path 7 connecting the cold water tank 2 and the hot water tank 3 is open.
- the tank connection path 7 extends straight between the bottom surface of the cold water tank 2 and the top surface of the hot water tank 3 in the vertical direction.
- the end of the tank connection path 7 on the cold water tank 2 side penetrates the bottom surface of the cold water tank 2, extends upward inside the cold water tank 2, and is connected to the baffle 13.
- the end of the tank connection path 7 on the cold water tank 2 side allows drinking water to flow from the cold water tank 2 side to the hot water tank 3 side, and drinks from the hot water tank 3 side to the cold water tank 2 side.
- a check valve 17 for restricting the flow of water is provided.
- the hot water tank 3 is in a state filled with drinking water.
- a heating device 18 for heating the drinking water in the hot water tank 3 is attached to the hot water tank 3 so as to keep the drinking water in the hot water tank 3 at a high temperature (about 90 ° C.).
- the heating device 18 an appropriate device such as a sheath heater or a band heater can be adopted.
- a hot water pouring channel 19 for pouring hot drinking water accumulated in the upper part of the hot water tank 3 to the outside.
- the hot water pouring channel 19 is provided with a hot water cock 20 that can be operated from the outside of the housing 1, and by opening the hot water cock 20, hot drinking water can be poured from the hot water tank 3 into a cup or the like. Yes.
- the capacity of the hot water tank 3 is about 1 to 2 liters.
- the tank connection path 7 has an in-tank pipe that extends downward from the upper surface of the hot water tank 3 to the inside of the hot water tank 3.
- the lower end of the pipe in the tank is open near the bottom surface of the hot water tank 3 (specifically, a position within 30 mm upward from the bottom surface inside the hot water tank 3).
- an air pipe 21 communicating with the inside of the cold water tank 2 and the atmosphere is provided.
- the air conduit 21 passes through the air sterilization chamber 23 from the air intake port 22 and introduces ozone sterilized air into the cold water tank 2 during this time. For this reason, the air in the cold water tank 2 is kept clean.
- a diffusion plate 24 is provided for diffusing the flow of drinking water until the drinking water flowing out from the raw water supply path 6 reaches the surface of the drinking water accumulated in the cold water tank 2.
- the diffusing plate 24 the drinking water flowing out from the raw water supply channel 6 can come into contact with ozone in the air in the cold water tank 2 (that flows into the cold water tank 2 from the air sterilization chamber 23) over a wide area. The sanitation of drinking water flowing into the cold water tank 2 is enhanced.
- leg 25 for standing the baffle 13 in the cold water tank 2 is provided on the lower surface of the baffle 13 that hinders the descent of the drinking water dropped from the diffusion plate 24.
- the inside of the leg portion 25 also serves as a part of the tank connection path 7.
- the lower portion of the leg portion 25 is screwed with the end portion of the tank connection path 7 on the cold water tank 2 side so that the baffle 13 can be set up in the cold water tank 2.
- the functional part as an original baffle plate of the baffle 13 is only a place protruding in a plate shape in the horizontal direction from the opening of the tank connection path 7 to the maximum outer peripheral part.
- the concept of “circumference” means a single circle having the same height (same ground height) with respect to the horizontal plane.
- the maximum outer peripheral portion of the baffle 13 is a periphery including a portion closest to the inner periphery of the cold water tank 2 during use of the water server, and has a maximum peripheral length, which is a horizontal direction that hinders the descent of water. It becomes the limit position. As shown in FIGS. 2 to 4, the baffle 13 has a flange portion 26 from the maximum outer peripheral portion.
- the collar portion 26 extends along the inner periphery of the cold water tank 2 with a horizontal gap g and protrudes downward along the entire periphery.
- This gap g is for absorbing errors such as dimensional errors and assembly errors between the baffle 13 and the cold water tank 2, and is exaggerated in the drawing.
- the rib 27 for preventing the fall of the collar part 26 and the leg part 25 is formed in the lower surface of the baffle 13.
- the ribs 27 extend between the leg portions 25 and the flange portions 26 at a plurality of locations that are equally spaced in the circumferential direction in order to prevent the above-described collapse evenly in the circumferential direction.
- the baffle 13 has a plurality of transfer channels 28 that guide drinking water above the baffle 13 to the inside of the baffle 13 and release it below the baffle 13.
- the inside of the baffle 13 means a place away from the maximum outer peripheral portion. Since the transfer channel 28 is arranged at such a position, the gap g can be made as narrow as possible.
- the transfer channel 28 is formed by a channel wall recessed downward on the upper surface of the baffle 13.
- the flow path wall has a notch shape that opens from the horizontal direction to the lower direction, and an end port 28a of the transfer flow path 28 is formed by the notched edge.
- the transfer channel 28 guides the drinking water above the baffle 13 to the end port 28a at the concave wall surface, and releases the baffle 13 below the end port 28a.
- “releasing” means that the downward flow is free, and more specifically, means that streamline control by the transfer flow path 28 becomes impossible thereafter.
- the transfer channel 28 is not limited to a substantially circular recess as shown in the figure, and can adopt an appropriate channel configuration such as a curved path that rises after one end descends and then descends again and then reaches the terminal end. .
- the transfer flow path 28 can also be formed combining a baffle main body and another component.
- Each of the plurality of terminal openings 28a is provided so as not to face each other. Drinking water released below the baffle 13 from a certain end opening 28a cannot collide frontally with drinking water released from the other end opening 28a, and descends gently.
- the transfer passages 28 are provided in a 180 ° rotational symmetry, but the number and arrangement of the transfer passages 28 are particularly limited. Alternatively, three or more transfer channels 28 may be dispersed at an arbitrary horizontal position so that drinking water can be discharged more gently from each terminal end 28a.
- the bottom surface of the baffle 13 has a recess 29 that is recessed upward so that air can be retained.
- the air retained in the recess 29 is interposed between the cold water below the baffle 13 and the baffle 13 to prevent the baffle 13 from contacting the cold water.
- the air in the recess 29 is configured to produce a heat insulating effect between the baffle 13 and the cold water below the baffle 13.
- the flow path wall that forms the transfer flow path 28 bulges on the lower surface of the baffle 13, but does not open other than the terminal end 28 a.
- the recess 29 is recessed upward at a position higher than the altitude h at the highest point of the terminal end 28a, and is formed so as to surround a portion higher than the altitude h of the transfer channel 28 from the horizontal direction.
- the air in the recess 29 does not escape upward from the end opening 28a to the baffle 13. Since the recess 29 can be formed in a large range surrounding the flow path wall forming the transfer flow path 28 in a bottom view of the baffle 13, it is easy to secure the area of the recess 29 in the lower surface.
- the recess 29 is formed from the heel part 26 to the leg part 25.
- the rib 27 serves as a partition between a recess 29 that surrounds the transfer channel 28 and a recess 29 that does not surround the transfer channel 28, and contributes to suppressing air flow below the baffle 13. Since there is only one leg 25, it is easy to secure the area of the recess 29 that occupies the lower surface of the baffle 13. Moreover, since the recess 29 is formed from the collar part 26, the circumferential length of the baffle 13 and the space between the leg part 25 and the collar part 26 are utilized without waste, and the recess 29 occupying the lower surface of the baffle 13 is used. An area can be secured.
- the tip of the collar portion 26 has the same altitude over the entire circumference, and the altitude is equal to or lower than the highest point of the terminal end 28a. This is to ensure the air storage capacity of the recess 29 by using the protruding amount of the collar portion 26 without waste.
- the lowest point of the flange 26 is preferably set to the same height as the highest point of the terminal end 28a.
- the illustrated baffle 13 is formed of a synthetic resin having a lower thermal conductivity than metal.
- this synthetic resin is preferably made of an injection-moldable plastic in order to facilitate the formation of the baffle 13, for example, polypropylene (PP).
- the use of the water server described above will be described (refer to FIG. 1 as appropriate).
- the cold water tank 2 and the hot water tank 3 are both empty until the water server is installed at a place of use (general household, office, hospital, etc.).
- the check valve 17 is in a state in which the valve body moves downward due to its own weight and the valve hole is opened, so that the air moves the check valve 17 from the lower side (that is, the hot water tank 3 side) to the upper side ( That is, it can pass to the cold water tank 2 side).
- the drinking water in the cold water tank 2 passes through the tank connection path 7. It is introduced into the hot water tank 3 through. At this time, the air in the hot water tank 3 is discharged to the cold water tank 2 through the tank connection path 7. That is, the drinking water in the cold water tank 2 is introduced into the empty hot water tank 3 by replacing the air in the hot water tank 3 through the tank connection path 7.
- the pump 10 stops. Subsequently, the drinking water in the cold water tank 2 is cooled by the cooling device 12 and kept at a low temperature. Moreover, the drinking water in the warm water tank 3 is heated by the heating device 18 and kept at a high temperature.
- the temperature of drinking water in the hot water tank 3 disposed below the cold water tank 2 is higher than the temperature of drinking water in the cold water tank. Therefore, convection of drinking water occurs in the tank connection path 7 connecting the cold water tank 2 and the hot water tank 3.
- the check valve 17 prevents the drinking water in the hot water tank 3 from flowing into the cold water tank 2 by convection of the drinking water in the tank connection path 7.
- the water level in the cold water tank 2 is lowered. Further, even if the hot water cock 20 is operated and hot drinking water in the hot water tank 3 is poured into a cup or the like, the same amount of drinking water as that drinking water passes from the cold water tank 2 through the tank connection path 7. Since it is introduced into the hot water tank 3, the water level in the cold water tank 2 is lowered. Then, when the water level sensor 14 detects that the water level in the cold water tank 2 has fallen below a preset lower limit water level, the pump 10 operates to supply the drinking water in the raw water container 4 to the cold water tank 2. At this time, since the lower limit water level is set sufficiently higher than the highest point of the baffle 13, the air in the recess 29 is not replaced, and the air in the recess 29 can be kept at a low temperature.
- the present invention can be applied to a water server in which a raw water tank for storing drinking water at room temperature is provided above the cold water tank 2. Also, a raw water tank for storing normal drinking water, a cold water tank 2 and a hot water tank 3 provided side by side below the raw water tank, and a cold water tank connection path for connecting the raw water tank and the cold water tank 2 And a water server having a hot water side tank connection path 7 connecting the raw water tank and the hot water tank 3. Further, the present invention is also applicable to a water server in which the raw water container 4 is disposed above the cold water tank 2 and drops from the raw water container 4 to the cold water tank 2 through a short raw water supply path.
