본 발명은 커뮤니티 서비스 제공장치 및 방법에 관한 것으로, 보다 상세하게는, 다양한 콘텐츠 사이의 연관관계 및 콘텐츠의 중요도를 쉽게 파악할 수 있는 커뮤니티 서비스 제공장치 및 방법에 관한 것이다.
온라인 커뮤니티 서비스(On-line Community Service)는 네티즌들이 직접 정보를 생산, 공유하고 이들이 모여 활동할 수 있도록 공간을 마련해 주는 서비스이다.
대표적인 형태인 온라인 사회 연결망은 사회 연결망 서비스(Social Network Service : SNS)라고 하며 동호회, 클럽, 카페, 미니홈피, 블로그 등의 온라인상 커뮤니티를 나타낸다.
기존의 커뮤니티 서비스에서는 수많은 댓글과 답글이 날짜 혹은 추천 수에 의해서만 정렬이 되기 때문에, 다양한 콘텐츠 사이의 연관성을 보여주는 것에 한계가 있다. 즉, 콘텐츠 간의 연관관계를 찾기 힘들고 어떠한 콘텐츠가 주류 또는 비주류인지 파악하기가 힘들다.
한국공개특허 제2011-0125587호에는 소셜 네트워크 서비스 제공방법 및 이를 적용한 서비스 제공 서버가 개시된다. 개시된 방법에 의하면, 원글 및 댓글로 구성된 스레드 내에서 사용자의 작성 빈도, 글 개수, 글 길이 등을 기초로 작성한 사용자들 간의 친밀도를 판단하고 이에 따라 사용자들에게 선택적으로 열람 권한을 주거나 관련 콘텐츠, 추천 ID 등을 제공한다.
그러나 여전히 다양한 콘텐츠 사이의 연관관계 및 콘텐츠의 중요도를 한눈에 파악하기 어렵다는 문제점이 있다.
본 발명이 이루고자 하는 기술적 과제는, 다양한 콘텐츠 사이의 연관관계 및 콘텐츠의 중요도를 시각화하여 사용자가 보다 쉽고 명확하게 인지할 수 있는 커뮤니티 서비스 제공장치 및 방법을 제공함에 있다.
본 발명이 이루고자 하는 다른 기술적 과제는, 다양한 콘텐츠 사이의 연관관계 및 콘텐츠의 중요도를 시각화하여 사용자가 보다 쉽고 명확하게 인지할 수 있는 커뮤니티 서비스 제공방법을 컴퓨터에서 실행시키기 위한 프로그램을 기록한 컴퓨터로 읽을 수 있는 기록매체를 제공함에 있다.

이때 콘텐츠로는 글, 방송, 음악, 영화, 애니매이션 등 다양한 텍스트, 오디오 및 비디오 콘텐츠 등이 가능하며, 콘텐츠 도형은 이러한 콘텐츠의 내용을 담고 있는 다양한 형태의 도형을 의미한다.
복수의 콘텐츠 도형은 다양한 구조로 상호 연결될 수 있다. 예를 들면, 트리 구조와 같은 계층적 구조로 연결될 수도 있으며, 하나의 콘텐츠 도형에 대해 복수의 콘텐츠 도형이 연결될 수도 있다.
도 2는 복수의 콘텐츠 도형의 계층적 연결관계를 나타낸 도면이다.
복수의 콘텐츠 도형의 연결관계에 있어서 상위 콘텐츠 도형은 복수의 콘텐츠 도형 중 어느 하나인 콘텐츠 도형이고, 하위 콘텐츠 도형은 상위 콘텐츠 도형의 하위 계층에 연결된 콘텐츠 도형을 의미한다.
예컨대 도 2를 참조하면, 제1콘텐츠 도형에 대해 제2콘텐츠 도형 및 제3콘텐츠 도형은 하위 콘텐츠 도형이고, 제2콘텐츠 도형 및 제3콘텐츠 도형에 대해 제1콘텐츠 도형은 상위 콘텐츠 도형이다.
마찬가지로 제2콘텐츠 도형에 대해 제3콘텐츠 도형은 하위 콘텐츠 도형이고, 제3콘텐츠 도형에 대해 제2콘텐츠 도형은 상위 콘텐츠 도형이다.

커뮤니티 서비스 제공장치(100)는 콘텐츠 도형의 연결관계에 따라 상위 콘텐츠 도형의 크기를 하위 콘텐츠 도형 개수의 증가에 대응하여 증가시킨다. 그리고 복수의 콘텐츠 도형의 연결관계와 크기 데이터를 온라인 커뮤니티에 접속하는 사용자 단말(300-1 내지 300-n)로 전송한다.
한편, 커뮤니티 서비스 제공장치(100)는 다양한 온라인 커뮤니티 서비스(On-line Community Service) 환경에서 구현될 수 있다. 구체적으로 동호회, 클럽, 카페, 미니홈피, 블로그 등의 다양한 사회 연결망 서비스(Social Network Service : SNS)에서 구현될 수 있다.
통신망(200)은 무선 근거리 통신망(Wireless Local Area Network : WLAN), 근거리 통신망(Local Area Network : LAN), 광역 통신망(Wide Area Network : WAN), 도시권 통신망(Metropolitan Area Network : MAN), 인터넷 등이 있다. 유선과 무선을 가리지 않으며 어떠한 통신 방식을 사용하더라도 무방하다.
사용자 단말(300-1 내지 300-n)은 콘텐츠를 제공받거나 게시하고자 하는 사용자가 이용하는 단말이다. 사용자 단말(300-1 내지 300-n)에는 컴퓨터, 태블릿, 개인 휴대 정보 단말기(Personal Digital Assistant : PDA), 휴대 멀티미디어 재생기(Portable Multimedia Player : PMP), 모바일 폰, IP TV 등이 있다.
이와 같이 커뮤니티 서비스 제공장치(100)는 콘텐츠를 시각화하여 사용자 단말(300-1 내지 300-n)에 제공하므로 사용자는 다양한 콘텐츠 사이의 연관관계 및 콘텐츠의 중요도를 보다 쉽고 명확하게 인지할 수 있다.
도 3은 본 발명에 따른 커뮤니티 서비스 제공장치(100)에 대한 바람직한 실시예의 구성을 도시한 블록도이다.
도 3을 참조하면, 커뮤니티 서비스 제공장치(100)는 콘텐츠 분석부(110), 콘텐츠 관리부(120) 및 콘텐츠 전송부(130)를 포함한다.
콘텐츠 분석부(110)는 서로 계층적으로 연결된 복수의 콘텐츠를 도형 형태로 나타낸 복수의 콘텐츠 도형을 생성하고, 복수의 콘텐츠 상호 간의 연결관계에 대응하여 복수의 콘텐츠 도형을 각각 연결한다.

콘텐츠 관리부(120)는 하위 콘텐츠 도형의 계층에 따라 사전에 설정한 가중치를 부여하여 상위 콘텐츠 도형의 크기를 증가시킬 수 있다.
예컨대 도 4를 참조하면, 복수의 콘텐츠 도형 내에 나타난 숫자는 콘텐츠 도형의 크기를 나타내며 콘텐츠 도형의 크기는 숫자의 크기에 대응한다. 기본적으로 게시되는 콘텐츠 도형의 크기는 200으로 설정하였다.
그리고 상위 콘텐츠 도형의 크기는 제1하위 콘텐츠 도형 추가시 10만큼, 제2하위 콘텐츠 도형 추가시 5만큼, 제3하위 콘텐츠 도형 추가시 2만큼, 제4하위 콘텐츠 도형 추가시 1만큼 증가하도록 상이한 가중치를 사전에 설정하였다.
구체적으로, 제1콘텐츠 도형의 크기는 제1하위 콘텐츠 도형인 제2콘텐츠 도형의 추가로 10만큼, 제2하위 콘텐츠 도형인 제3콘텐츠 도형의 추가로 5만큼, 제3하위 콘텐츠 도형인 제4-1콘텐츠 도형 및 제4-2콘텐츠 도형의 추가로 각각 2만큼, 제4하위 콘텐츠 도형인 제5콘텐츠 도형의 추가로 1만큼 증가 되어 220이 된다.
마찬가지로 제2콘텐츠 도형의 크기는 제1하위 콘텐츠 도형인 제3콘텐츠 도형의 추가로 10만큼, 제2하위 콘텐츠 도형인 제4-1콘텐츠 도형 및 제4-2콘텐츠 도형의 추가로 각각 5만큼, 제3하위 콘텐츠 도형인 제5콘텐츠 도형의 추가로 1만큼 증가 되어 222가 된다.
또한 제3콘텐츠 도형의 크기는 제1하위 콘텐츠 도형인 제4-1콘텐츠 도형 및 제4-2콘텐츠 도형의 추가로 각각 10만큼, 제2하위 콘텐츠 도형인 제5콘텐츠 도형의 추가로 5만큼 증가 되어 225가 된다.
제4-1콘텐츠 도형의 크기는 제1하위 콘텐츠 도형인 제5콘텐츠 도형의 추가로 10만큼 증가하여 210이 되고, 제4-2콘텐츠 도형의 크기는 하위 콘텐츠 도형을 갖지 않으므로 기본 값인 200을 갖는다.
다시 도 1을 참조하면, 콘텐츠 관리부(120)는 하위 콘텐츠 도형의 개수가 사전에 설정한 시간 동안 일정하거나 감소하는 경우 상위 콘텐츠 도형의 크기를 감소시킬 수 있다.
하위 콘텐츠 도형의 개수가 감소하는 경우로는 댓글을 삭제하는 것처럼 게시된 콘텐츠를 삭제하거나, 게시글을 비밀글로 설정하여 콘텐츠 열람을 제한하는 경우 등이 있다.
그리고 콘텐츠 관리부(120)는 사전에 설정한 시간 동안 온라인 커뮤니티에 접속하는 사용자에 의해 선택되지 않은 콘텐츠 도형의 크기를 감소시킬 수 있다. 이는 사용자에 의해 선택되지 않은 콘텐츠 도형은 사용자에게 더 이상 관심이 없는 콘텐츠로 볼 수 있기 때문이다.
또한 콘텐츠 관리부(120)는 하위 콘텐츠 도형이 사전에 설정한 시간 동안 존재하지 않는 경우 상위 콘텐츠 도형의 크기를 감소시킬 수 있다.
하위 콘텐츠 도형이 더 이상 게시되지 않거나 존재하지 않는 경우, 상위 콘텐츠 도형은 사용자에게 더 이상 관심이 없는 콘텐츠로 볼 수 있다. 따라서 상위 콘텐츠 도형의 크기를 감소시켜 상대적으로 사용자가 관심을 갖는 다른 콘텐츠 도형을 부각시킬 수 있다.
또한 콘텐츠 관리부(120)는 복수의 콘텐츠 도형의 개수가 사전에 설정한 개수 이상인 경우 복수의 콘텐츠 도형의 크기를 감소시킬 수 있다. 전체 화면에 나타나는 콘텐츠 도형의 개수 및 크기가 지속적으로 증가하는 경우 이를 화면에 나타내는데 어려움이 있다.
따라서 전체 콘텐츠 도형의 크기를 각각 일정한 비율로 감소시키거나, 복수의 콘텐츠 도형의 현재 크기에 따라 각각 다른 비율로 감소시킬 수 있다.
전체 콘텐츠 도형의 크기를 일정한 비율로 감소시키는 경우에도 복수의 콘텐츠 도형의 크기는 각각 상이하므로, 복수의 콘텐츠 도형 사이의 상대적인 크기 비율은 그대로 유지될 수 있다.
도 5는 시간에 따라 다른 모양을 갖는 콘텐츠 도형을 나타낸 도면이다.
콘텐츠 관리부(120)는 복수의 콘텐츠 도형의 모양을 사전에 설정한 시간 경과 후 다른 모양으로 변환한다.
예컨대 도 5를 참조하면, 오각형으로 게시된 콘텐츠 도형은 사전에 설정한 시간 경과 후 사각형으로 변환된다. 따라서 최근에 게시된 콘텐츠 도형은 오각형이므로, 사용자가 최근에 게시된 콘텐츠를 쉽게 식별하여 확인할 수 있다.
도 6은 콘텐츠 도형의 색상을 결정하는 방식을 나타낸 도면이다.
콘텐츠 관리부(120)는 하위 콘텐츠 도형 각각에 부여된 수치에 따라 하위 콘텐츠 도형 각각의 색상을 결정하고, 하위 콘텐츠 도형 각각에 부여된 수치 및 상위 콘텐츠 도형에 부여된 수치의 총합에 따라 상위 콘텐츠 도형의 색상을 결정한다.
예컨대 도 6을 참조하면, 콘텐츠 도형의 게시자는 콘텐츠 도형의 색상을 나타내는 수치를 선택할 수 있다. 구체적으로 하위 콘텐츠 도형의 게시자는 하위 콘텐츠 도형을 게시할 때, 상위 콘텐츠 도형(Topic)에 게시된 의견에 동의하는 정도에 따라 -100부터 +100까지 수치를 선택할 수 있다.
그 후 콘텐츠 관리부(120)는 수치에 대응하여 색상을 점층적으로 변환시킨 표에서 선택된 수치에 대응하는 색상을 하위 콘텐츠 도형의 색상으로 결정한다.
또한 콘텐츠 관리부(120)는 하위 콘텐츠 도형 각각에 부여된 수치 및 상위 콘텐츠 도형에 부여된 수치의 총합에 대응하는 색상을 상위 콘텐츠 도형의 색상으로 결정한다.
이와 같이 복수의 콘텐츠 도형의 색상을 점층적으로 달리 표현하여 하나의 주제에 대한 사용자들의 의견을 시각적으로 쉽게 파악할 수 있다.
다시 도 1을 참조하면, 콘텐츠 전송부(130)는 복수의 콘텐츠 도형의 연결관계, 모양, 색상 및 크기 데이터를 온라인 커뮤니티에 접속하는 사용자 단말(300-1 내지 300-n)로 전송한다. 이때 사용자 단말(300-1 내지 300-n)은 전송받은 데이터를 이용하여 콘텐츠 도형으로 구성된 콘텐츠 구성도를 생성한다.
또한 콘텐츠 전송부(130)는 복수의 콘텐츠 도형의 연결관계를 도시한 콘텐츠 구성도를 직접 사용자 단말(300-1 내지 300-n)에 전송할 수 있다.
본 발명에 따른 커뮤니티 서비스 제공장치(100)는 사용자가 클릭 등의 방법으로 콘텐츠 도형을 선택하면 선택된 콘텐츠 도형의 내용을 나타낼 수 있다.
도 7은 선택된 콘텐츠 도형 및 복수의 콘텐츠 도형을 나타낸 도면이다.
도 7을 참조하면, 사용자가 콘텐츠 도형을 선택하면 선택된 콘텐츠 도형의 내용이 펼쳐지며 나타난다. 이때 선택된 콘텐츠 도형 및 복수의 콘텐츠 도형의 연결관계는 콘텐츠 도형이 선택되기 전과 같이 계속 유지된다.
본 발명에 따른 커뮤니티 서비스 제공장치(100)는 사용자 단말(300-1 내지 300-n)의 화면에 나타나는 콘텐츠 구성도를 확대하거나 축소하여 나타낼 수 있다.

도 8을 참조하면, 커뮤니티 서비스 제공장치(100)는 사용자 단말(300-1 내지 300-n)의 화면 크기에 따라 콘텐츠 구성도를 확대하거나 축소하여 나타낸다. 이때 사용자는 콘텐츠 구성도를 사용자 단말(300-1 내지 300-n)의 화면 크기에 적합하게 나타나도록 드래그, 터치 등의 방식으로 조작할 수 있다.
도 9는 본 발명에 따른 커뮤니티 서비스 제공방법에 대한 바람직한 실시예의 수행과정을 도시한 흐름도이다.
커뮤니티 서비스 제공장치(100)는 계층적으로 연결된 복수의 콘텐츠를 도형 형태로 나타낸 복수의 콘텐츠 도형을 생성하고, 복수의 콘텐츠 상호 간의 연결관계에 대응하여 복수의 콘텐츠 도형을 각각 연결한다(S910).
그 후 커뮤니티 서비스 제공장치(100)는 상위 콘텐츠 도형 및 하위 콘텐츠 도형의 관계를 파악하여 각 콘텐츠 도형의 크기, 모양, 색상을 결정한다(S920).
상위 콘텐츠 도형의 크기는 하위 콘텐츠 도형 개수 증가에 대응하여 증가한다. 이때 하위 콘텐츠 도형의 계층에 따라 상이한 가중치를 두어 상위 콘텐츠 도형의 크기를 증가시킬 수 있다.
또한 상위 콘텐츠 도형의 크기는 하위 콘텐츠 도형이 존재하지 않거나, 사전에 설정한 시간 동안 동일하거나 감소하는 경우 감소시킨다. 그리고 전체 콘텐츠 도형의 개수가 사전에 설정한 개수 이상인 경우 전체 콘텐츠 도형의 크기를 각각 감소시킬 수 있다.
콘텐츠 도형의 모양은 최근에 게시된 콘텐츠 도형의 경우 상이한 모양을 설정하여 사용자는 최근에 게시된 콘텐츠 도형을 쉽게 파악할 수 있다.
콘텐츠 도형의 게시자는 콘텐츠 도형을 게시할 때 색상을 결정하는 수치를 선택할 수 있다. 하위 콘텐츠 도형의 색상은 선택된 수치에 대응하는 색상으로 결정되고, 상위 콘텐츠 도형의 색상은 각각의 하위 콘텐츠 도형이 선택한 수치 및 상위 콘텐츠 도형 게시자가 선택한 수치의 총 합에 대응하는 색상으로 결정된다.
마지막으로 커뮤니티 서비스 제공장치(100)는 결정된 데이터를 사용자 단말(300-1 내지 300-n)로 전송한다(S930). 이때 커뮤니티 서비스 제공장치(100)는 직접 콘텐츠 구성도를 생성하여 사용자 단말(300-1 내지 300-n)로 전송할 수도 있다.
본 발명은 또한 컴퓨터로 읽을 수 있는 기록매체에 컴퓨터가 읽을 수 있는 코드로서 구현하는 것이 가능하다. 컴퓨터가 읽을 수 있는 기록매체는 컴퓨터 시스템에 의하여 읽혀질 수 있는 데이터가 저장되는 모든 종류의 기록장치를 포함한다. 컴퓨터가 읽을 수 있는 기록매체의 예로는 ROM, RAM, CD-ROM, 자기 테이프, 플로피디스크, 광데이터 저장장치 등이 있으며, 또한 캐리어 웨이브(예를 들어 인터넷을 통한 전송)의 형태로 구현되는 것도 포함한다. 또한 컴퓨터가 읽을 수 있는 기록매체는 네트워크로 연결된 컴퓨터 시스템에 분산되어 분산방식으로 컴퓨터가 읽을 수 있는 코드가 저장되고 실행될 수 있다.
이상에서 본 발명의 바람직한 실시예에 대해 도시하고 설명하였으나, 본 발명은 상술한 특정의 바람직한 실시예에 한정되지 아니하며, 청구범위에서 청구하는 본 발명의 요지를 벗어남이 없이 당해 발명이 속하는 기술분야에서 통상의 지식을 가진 자라면 누구든지 다양한 변형 실시가 가능한 것은 물론이고, 그와 같은 변경은 청구범위 기재의 범위 내에 있게 된다.

  21. 제 11항 내지 제 20항 중 어느 한 항에 기재된 커뮤니티 서비스 제공방법을 컴퓨터에서 실행시키기 위한 프로그램을 기록한 컴퓨터로 읽을 수 있는 기록매체.
