Abstract

Die Erfindung betrifft ein Verfahren zum Betrieb einer Dosiervorrichtung (1) zur Bereitstellung eines flüssigen Additivs. Die Dosiervorrichtung weist zumindest mindestens eine Pumpe (2) zur Förderung des Additivs aus einem Tank (3) in einen Druckspeicher (4), ein Dosierventil (5), welches dazu eingerichtet ist, in dem Druckspeicher (4) vorliegendes Additiv dosiert bereitzustellen, und ein Rücklaufventil (6), durch welches in dem Druckspeicher (4) vorliegendes Additiv zurück in den Tank (3) abgeleitet werden kann, auf. Bei dem Verfahren wird zunächst in einem Schritt a) eine Dosieranforderung festgestellt. Anschließend wird in einem Schritt b) die Pumpe (2) aktiviert, um einen Druck in dem Druckspeicher (4) aufzubauen. Dann wird der Druck in dem Druckspeicher (4) auf einen gewünschten Dosierdruck (8) eingestellt. Daraufhin erfolgt in einem Schritt d) eine Abgabe des flüssigen Additivs durch das Dosierventil (5).
