  • the wiper blade body 15 is firmly connected with a wiper blade adapter 20, which as can be recognised in particular from figs. 4 and 5 consists of a wiper- blade-side adapter element 21 and a wiper-arm-side adapter element 22.
  • the wiper-blade-side adapter element 21 and the wiper-arm-side adapter element 22 preferably consist of plastic (injection-moulding part) respectively and pivotably connected with each other in a rotating axis.
  • the wiper blade 10 or the wiper blade adapter 20 are attached by the wiper-arm-side adapter element 22 acting in conjunction with the connecting area 3 of wiper arm 1 .
  • the wiper-arm-side adapter element 22 comprises a forward end section 24 and a rearward end section 25.
  • the wiper-arm-side adapter element 22 is pushed with its rearward end section 25 into the connecting area 3 of wiper arm 1 in direction of arrow 1 1 (fig. 1 ).
  • the rearward end section 25 is conically shaped with a lower limiting edge 8.
  • the two retaining portions 8 of wiper arm 1 or side legs 4, 5 catch behind the lower edges 27 of the wiper-arm- side adapter element 22 when the wiper blade 10 is pushed onto the wiper arm 1 .
  • the wiper-arm-side adapter element 22 comprises two essentially plate-shaped side parts 28, 29, which in the area of the rearward end section 25 on the topside 34 are connected with each other by a transverse web 30.
  • the forward end section 24 of the wiper-arm-side adapter element 22 connecting the two side parts 28, 29 surmounts the two side parts 28, 29 both laterally and on their topside.
  • the areas of the forward end section 24 surmounting the side parts 28, 29 form a stop 32, which when the wiper blade is pushed onto the wiper arm 1 interacts in the end position with the forward limiting contour 9 of the connecting area 3, in order to thus limit the displacement path of wiper blade 10 on the wiper arm 1 in direction of arrow 1 1 .
  • topside 34 of wiper-arm-side adapter element 22 In the area of topside 34 of wiper-arm-side adapter element 22 the latter comprises a securing tongue 35.
  • the securing tongue 35 comprises a locking section 36 projecting beyond the topside 34 the shape or size of which is adapted to the shape or size of break-through 7 on the connecting area 3 of wiper arm 1 .
  • the locking section 36 is connected in one piece with the one side part 28 of the wiper-arm-side adapter element 22 via a plate-shaped linking section 37.
  • the locking section 36 On the side facing the linking section 37 the locking section 36 comprises a side edge 38 the length of which is less than the length of a linear- shaped connecting point 39, with which the securing tongue 35 is moulded onto the side part 28.
  • the one limiting edge 41 on the linking section 37 extends obliquely with respect to the longitudinal axis 42 of the wiper-arm-side adapter element 22. It is essential to the invention for the linear-shaped connecting point 39 of the securing tongue 35 to extend in parallel with the longitudinal axis of wiper blade 10, or in longitudinal direction of wiper blade 10. Furthermore, as can be recognised in particular in fig. 6, a transverse gap 44 is formed between the securing tongue 35 and the transverse web 30, and when the wiper blade 10 is assembled to the wiper arm 1 , the top of transverse web 30 is supported against the inside 45 of the connection section 6 facing the securing tongue.
  • the assembly of wiper blade 10 to the wiper arm 1 is effected in that the wiper blade 10, with its wiper-arm-side adapter element 22 is pushed in direction of arrow 1 1 into the U-shaped linking section 3 of wiper arm 1 , until the stop 32 of the wiper-arm-side adapter element 22 comes into contact with the limiting contour 9 of the connecting area 3.
  • the locking section 36 of securing tongue 35 is locked with breakthrough 7, thereby preventing the wiper blade 10 from being withdrawn from the wiper arm 1 in direction of arrow 12.
  • the locking section 36 of securing tongue 35 must be pushed manually into breakthrough 7 and then wiper blade 10 can be withdrawn from wiper arm 1 in direction of arrow 12.
  • the linking section 37 thus merely serves to position the locking section 36 in opening 7, whilst the forces acting to secure the wiper blade 10 in dismantling direction, in particular also in the case that the linking section 37 should break, are transferred via the locking section 36 which acts in the manner of a securing wedge so that additional securing measures for the wiper blade 10 may be waived.
  • Fig. 7 shows a modified wiper-arm-side adapter element 22.
  • the locking section 36a is designed in two pieces. It comprises two partial sections 46, 47 each of which is elastically connected with its respective side part 28, 29 via a linking area 37a arranged perpendicularly to the drawing plane of fig. 7 and centrally in the respective partial section 46, 47.
  • the width of linking section 37a in longitudinal direction of the wiper-arm-side adapter element 22a, as shown, may be less than the extension of partial sections 46, 47. This depends, in particular, on the thickness of linking section 37a (perpendicularly to the drawing plane of fig. 7), in order permit actuating the partial sections 46, 47.
  • Fig. 8 shows a second modified wiper-arm-side adapter element 22b.
  • the locking section 36b is designed in one piece analogously to locking section 36.
  • two linking sections 37b are provided which (seen from the top) are each arranged diagonally and are connected with side parts 28, 29 on the side facing the transverse web 30 and with the locking section 36 on the side facing stop 32 (not shown).

  • the two partial sections 46c, 47c, seen from the top, are formed triangularly and are separated from each other by a gap 49 extending in diagonal direction (with respect to the longitudinal direction of the wiper-arm-side adapter element 22c).
  • Each of the two partial sections 46c, 47c is connected with side part 28, 29 via a linking section 37c which is S-shaped when viewed from the top, wherein for partial section 46c, linking to the side parts 28, 29 is effected on the side facing transverse web 30, and for partial section 47c, linking is effected on the side facing away from transverse web 30.
  • Gap 49 makes it possible for the two partial sections 46c, 47c to move towards each other when they are pressed in perpendicularly to the drawing plane.

Abstract

L'invention concerne un balai d'essuie-glace (10) destiné à une unité d'essuie-glace (100) d'un véhicule à moteur, pourvu d'un corps allongé (15) de balai d'essuie-glace pouvant être fixé sur un bras d'essuie-glace (1) de l'unité d'essuie-glace (100) par le biais d'un adaptateur (20) de balai d'essuie-glace. Selon l'invention, l'adaptateur (20) de balai d'essuie-glace est constitué d'un élément adaptateur (21) du côté du balai d'essuie-glace et d'un élément adaptateur (22) du côté du bras d'essuie-glace, agencés dans un axe tournant (23) de façon à pouvoir pivoter l'un par rapport à l'autre, l'élément adaptateur (22) du côté du bras d'essuie-glace pouvant être accouplé au bras d'essuie-glace (1) au niveau d'une extrémité du bras d'essuie-glace. L'extrémité du bras d'essuie-glace a une section transversale sensiblement en forme de U dans une zone d'accouplement (3) avec l'élément adaptateur (22) du côté du bras d'essuie-glace, et une ouverture (7) est formée dans au moins une branche (4, 5, 6) de la zone d'accouplement (3) en forme de U du balai d'essuie-glace (10), l'ouverture étant en prise directe avec une section de verrouillage (36) d'une languette de fixation (35) agencée de manière flexible sur l'élément adaptateur (22) du côté du bras d'essuie-glace par le biais d'un point d'accouplement de forme rectiligne (39).
