Description

情報提供装置、情報提供方法、情報提供プログラム、及びそのプログラムを記憶するコンピュータ読取可能な記録媒体
　本発明の一形態は、取引対象の提供者にとって有用な情報を提供するための情報提供装置、情報提供方法、情報提供プログラム、及びそのプログラムを記憶するコンピュータ読取可能な記録媒体に関する。
　従来から、ユーザが取引対象を比較できるようにするための仕組みが知られている。例えば、下記非特許文献１に示されるウェブサイトは、ユーザが取引対象である商品の一覧に含まれる任意の２以上の商品にチェックを付けて比較ボタンを押すとそれらの商品の比較表を表示する機能を有している。ユーザはその比較表を参考に商品を選ぶことができる。

　一方、ユーザのニーズを酌み取りたい取引対象の提供者からすれば、ユーザによる取引対象の比較の様子を知ることができれば便利である。そこで、ユーザのニーズを知るための情報を取引対象の提供者に提供することが要請されている。
　本発明の一形態に係る情報提供装置は、ユーザが複数の取引対象を比較したことを示す比較情報を記憶する比較情報記憶部と、ユーザが他の取引対象と比較した上で注文した取引対象を示す注文情報を記憶する注文情報記憶部とを参照して、比較情報に含まれ、且つ該比較情報に対応する注文情報に含まれない取引対象を第１取引対象として特定する特定部と、比較情報記憶部及び注文情報記憶部を参照して、第１取引対象と比較され且つユーザに注文された第２取引対象を抽出する抽出部と、取引対象情報を記憶する取引対象記憶部から読み出した第２取引対象の取引対象情報に基づいて推薦情報を生成する生成部と、推薦情報を第１取引対象の提供者に提示する提示部とを備える。
　本発明の一形態に係る情報提供方法は、情報提供装置により実行される情報提供方法であって、ユーザが複数の取引対象を比較したことを示す比較情報を記憶する比較情報記憶部と、ユーザが他の取引対象と比較した上で注文した取引対象を示す注文情報を記憶する注文情報記憶部とを参照して、比較情報に含まれ、且つ該比較情報に対応する注文情報に含まれない取引対象を第１取引対象として特定する特定ステップと、比較情報記憶部及び注文情報記憶部を参照して、第１取引対象と比較され且つユーザに注文された第２取引対象を抽出する抽出ステップと、取引対象情報を記憶する取引対象記憶部から読み出した第２取引対象の取引対象情報に基づいて推薦情報を生成する生成ステップと、推薦情報を第１取引対象の提供者に提示する提示ステップとを含む。
　本発明の一形態に係る情報提供プログラムは、ユーザが複数の取引対象を比較したことを示す比較情報を記憶する比較情報記憶部と、ユーザが他の取引対象と比較した上で注文した取引対象を示す注文情報を記憶する注文情報記憶部とを参照して、比較情報に含まれ、且つ該比較情報に対応する注文情報に含まれない取引対象を第１取引対象として特定する特定部と、比較情報記憶部及び注文情報記憶部を参照して、第１取引対象と比較され且つユーザに注文された第２取引対象を抽出する抽出部と、取引対象情報を記憶する取引対象記憶部から読み出した第２取引対象の取引対象情報に基づいて推薦情報を生成する生成部と、推薦情報を第１取引対象の提供者に提示する提示部とをコンピュータに実行させる。
　本発明の一形態に係るコンピュータ読取可能な記録媒体は、ユーザが複数の取引対象を比較したことを示す比較情報を記憶する比較情報記憶部と、ユーザが他の取引対象と比較した上で注文した取引対象を示す注文情報を記憶する注文情報記憶部とを参照して、比較情報に含まれ、且つ該比較情報に対応する注文情報に含まれない取引対象を第１取引対象として特定する特定部と、比較情報記憶部及び注文情報記憶部を参照して、第１取引対象と比較され且つユーザに注文された第２取引対象を抽出する抽出部と、取引対象情報を記憶する取引対象記憶部から読み出した第２取引対象の取引対象情報に基づいて推薦情報を生成する生成部と、推薦情報を第１取引対象の提供者に提示する提示部とをコンピュータに実行させる情報提供プログラムを記憶する。
　このような形態によれば、比較情報に含まれ且つ注文情報に含まれない第１取引対象が特定される。この第１取引対象は、ユーザに他の取引対象と比較はされたが、注文まで至らなかった取引対象である。続いて、その第１取引対象と比較され且つ注文された第２取引対象が抽出され、当該第２取引対象の情報に基づいて推薦情報が生成され、その推薦情報が第１取引対象の提供者に提示される。このように、注文に結びつかなかった第１取引対象の提供者に対して、当該第１取引対象との比較の末に注文を受けた第２取引対象の情報を提示することで、当該提供者はユーザのニーズを知ることができる。
　別の形態に係る情報提供装置では、生成部が、比較情報記憶部を参照して第２取引対象の検索数を求め、該検索数が所定の閾値以上である第２取引対象の取引対象情報に基づいて推薦情報を生成してもよい。この場合には、ユーザのニーズが多く見込まれる第２取引対象の情報に基づいて推薦情報が生成されるので、推薦情報の有用性が高まる。
　さらに別の形態に係る情報提供装置では、生成部が、比較情報記憶部及び注文情報記憶部を参照して第２取引対象の転換率を求め、該転換率が所定の閾値以上である第２取引対象の取引対象情報に基づいて推薦情報を生成してもよい。この場合には、ユーザのニーズが多く見込まれる第２取引対象の情報に基づいて推薦情報を生成することができる。この場合には、ユーザのニーズが多く見込まれる第２取引対象の情報に基づいて推薦情報が生成されるので、推薦情報の有用性が高まる。
　さらに別の形態に係る情報提供装置では、取引対象情報が、取引対象そのものの属性を示す固定情報と、該取引対象の付加属性を示す付加情報とを含み、生成部が、第２取引対象の固定情報を用いることなく、該第２取引対象の付加情報に基づいて推薦情報を生成してもよい。
　さらに別の形態に係る情報提供装置では、比較情報が、複数の取引対象のウェブページの間でページ遷移が発生した場合に当該複数の取引対象を関連付けることで生成されてもよい。このようにページ遷移を考慮することで、ユーザが比較した取引対象を精度良く推定して比較情報を自動的に生成することができる。
　さらに別の形態に係る情報提供装置では、比較情報が、所定の時間範囲内において所定時間以上表示された複数のウェブページに対応する複数の取引対象を関連付けることで生成されてもよい。このように表示時間を考慮することで、ユーザが比較した取引対象を精度良く推定して比較情報を自動的に生成することができる。
　さらに別の形態に係る情報提供装置では、比較情報が、複数の取引対象について同じページ遷移の操作が発生した場合に当該複数の取引対象を関連付けることで生成されてもよい。このようにページ遷移の操作を考慮することで、ユーザが比較した取引対象を精度良く推定して比較情報を自動的に生成することができる。
　本発明の一側面によれば、ユーザのニーズを知るための情報を取引対象の提供者に提供することができる。

　以下、添付図面を参照しながら本発明の実施形態を詳細に説明する。なお、図面の説明において同一又は同等の要素には同一の符号を付し、重複する説明を省略する。
　まず、図１～６を用いて、実施形態に係る宿泊予約システム１の機能及び構成を説明する。宿泊予約システム１は、宿泊施設（共用施設）の予約を受け付けるウェブサイト（宿泊予約サイト）をユーザに提供するコンピュータシステムである。図１に示すように、宿泊予約システム１は、ユーザ端末１０と、ホテルや旅館などの宿泊施設に設置された提供者端末２０と、データベース群３０と、予約管理装置４０と、情報提供装置５０とを備えている。ユーザ端末１０、提供者端末２０、データベース群３０、予約管理装置４０、及び情報提供装置５０は、インターネットや無線ＬＡＮ、移動体通信網などで構成されている通信ネットワークＮを介して互いに通信することが可能である。図１ではユーザ端末１０及び提供者端末２０をそれぞれ３台示しているが、宿泊予約システム１内におけるこれらの装置の台数は任意である。
　ユーザ端末１０は、部屋の予約をするユーザが所有する端末である。ユーザ端末１０の例として高機能携帯電話機（スマートフォン）や携帯情報端末（ＰＤＡ）、パーソナルコンピュータ（ＰＣ）などが挙げられるが、携帯端末の種類はこれらに限定されない。ユーザはユーザ端末１０を操作して宿泊予約サイトにアクセスして、宿泊施設及び宿泊プランを検索したり、その検索により見つけた宿泊施設及び宿泊プランを予約したりすることができる。
　提供者端末２０は、宿泊予約システム１での予約対象である部屋及び宿泊プランを提供する宿泊施設の端末である。提供者端末２０の例としてはＰＣが挙げられるが、各種携帯端末も提供者端末２０として利用可能である。宿泊施設の管理者は提供者端末２０を操作して、施設に関する施設情報や宿泊プランに関するプラン情報を施設データベース３１に登録することが可能である。また、提供者端末２０は宿泊プランを作成する際に参考し得る推薦情報を情報提供装置５０から取得することが可能である。この施設情報、プラン情報、及び推薦情報については後述する。
　データベース群３０は、宿泊予約システム１内で用いられる各種の情報を記憶する手段である。データベース群３０は、施設データベース（取引対象記憶部）３１、比較履歴データベース（比較情報記憶部）３２、及び予約実績データベース（注文情報記憶部）３３を備えている。
　施設データベース３１は、施設情報（固定情報）及びプラン情報（付加情報）という、宿泊施設に関する二種類の情報（取引対象情報）を記憶する手段である。施設情報及びプラン情報は提供者端末２０により施設データベース３１に登録される。
　施設情報は、宿泊施設の設備や環境を示す情報であり、変更が困難なハードウェア面の属性に関する情報であるともいえる。あるいは、施設情報は宿泊施設そのものの属性を示す情報であるともいえる。施設情報の内容としては、例えば、宿泊施設の所在地、温泉の有無、露天風呂やレストラン、スポーツ施設などの各種設備の有無、周辺施設や観光スポットの有無などが挙げられるが、これらに限定されない。
　一方、プラン情報は、宿泊施設が提供する宿泊プラン（以下では単に「プラン」という）を示す情報であり、状況に応じて比較的容易に変更することができるソフトウェア面の属性に関する情報であるともいえる。プラン情報の内容としては、例えば、食事の内容、飲み放題などの飲食サービスの有無、マッサージやエステなどの付加サービスの有無、連泊の可否、レイトチェックインの有無、提示価格、提供期間（利用可能日）、施設に対するユーザの評価などが挙げられるが、これらに限定されない。上述したように、施設情報及びプラン情報は提供者端末２０により施設データベース３１に登録される。
　施設情報及びプラン情報の例を図２に示す。図２の例では、「ホテルＰ」の施設情報として、所在地に関する「栃木」というキーワードと、設備に関する「温泉」「露天風呂」「テニスコート」というキーワードとが登録されている。また、「ホテルＰ」のプラン情報として、料理に関する「肉」というキーワード、提供期間「１０月１０日～１０月３１日」、及び価格「２００００～３００００円」とを含む「プランＡ」のプラン情報と、料理に関する「海老」というキーワード、提供期間「１０月１日～１１月３０日」、及び金額「１５０００～２００００円」を含む「プランＢ」のプラン情報とが登録されている。
　比較履歴データベース３２は、ユーザが複数の施設情報及びプラン情報を比較したことを示す比較情報を記憶する手段である。図３に示すように、比較情報は、比較操作を行ったユーザを特定するユーザＩＤと、選択された少なくとも二つの比較対象と、比較日時とを含んでいる。比較対象は施設ＩＤとプランＩＤとの組合せで示される。例えば図３から、ユーザＩＤ「Ｕ００１」で特定されるユーザがホテルＰのプランＡとホテルＱのプランＣとを比較したことが分かる。比較情報は、ユーザが施設及びプランを比較する操作を明示的に行った場合に、又はそのような操作が行われたと推定された場合に、予約管理装置４０により生成及び格納される。
　予約管理装置４０による比較情報の生成方法は限定されない。例えば、予約管理装置４０は、プランの比較表（上記非特許文献１で示されるような態様の比較表）を得るためにユーザが比較対象として選択した複数の宿泊施設及び宿泊プランを関連付けることで比較情報を生成してもよい。
　また、予約管理装置４０は、ウェブページを得るためのＨＴＴＰリクエストに含まれるユーザＩＤ及びＵＲＬを閲覧日時と関連付けて閲覧情報として所定のデータベースに記録し、その閲覧情報から得られるユーザ端末１０でのページ遷移の態様に基づいて比較情報を生成してもよい。
　例えば、予約管理装置４０は、特定の複数のプランの間でページ遷移が発生した場合に、当該複数のプランを含む比較情報を生成してもよい。例えば、ホテルＰのプランＡを示すウェブページＷｘと、旅館ＲのプランＸを示すウェブページＷｙとについて、「ページＷｘ→ページＷｙ→ページＷｘ」というページ遷移が発生していれば、予約管理装置４０はホテルＰのプランＡと旅館ＲのプランＸとが関連付けられた比較情報を生成する。また、ホテルＱのプランＣを示すページＷｚがあるとして「ページＷｘ→ページＷｙ→ページＷｚ→ページＷｙ→ページＷｘ」というページ遷移が発生した場合に、予約管理装置４０はホテルＰのプランＡ、旅館ＲのプランＸ、及びホテルＱのプランＣが関連付けられた比較情報を生成してもよい。また、予約管理装置４０はそのページの遷移の間に所定回数以上表示されたページのプランのみを関連付けてもよい。上記の例で閾値が２であれば、予約管理装置４０はホテルＰのプランＡと旅館ＲのプランＸとが関連付けられた比較情報を生成する。
　あるいは、予約管理装置４０は、所定の時間範囲内（例えば１０分以内）において所定時間以上（例えば１分以上）ユーザ端末１０上に表示された複数のページに対応する複数のプランを含む比較情報を生成してもよい。例えば、閾値を１分として、ホテルＰのプランＡを示すウェブページＷｘと、旅館ＲのプランＸを示すウェブページＷｙと、ホテルＱのプランＣを示すウェブページＷｚとについて「ページＷｘ（閲覧時間１分）→ページＷｙ（閲覧時間５秒）→ページＷｚ（閲覧時間３分）」というページ遷移が発生していれば、予約管理装置４０はホテルＰのプランＡとホテルＱのプランＣとが関連付けられた比較情報を生成する。また、ホテルＳのプランＥを示すページＷｖがあり、閾値を１分として、「ページＷｖ（閲覧時間４分）→ページＷｘ（閲覧時間１分）→ページＷｙ（閲覧時間５秒）→ページＷｚ（閲覧時間３分）」というページ遷移が発生していれば、予約管理装置４０はホテルＰのプランＡ、ホテルＱのプランＣ、及びホテルＳのプランＥが関連付けられた比較情報を生成する。
　あるいは、予約管理装置４０は、特定の複数のプランの間で同じページ遷移の操作が発生した場合に、当該複数のプランを含む比較情報を生成してもよい。具体的には、「ホテルＰのプランＡのページ」→「ホテルＰの詳細ページ」→「旅館ＲのプランＸのページ」→「旅館Ｒの詳細ページ」と遷移した際に、予約管理装置４０は、同じパターンでページ遷移が行われたホテルＰのプランＡと旅館ＲのプランＸとを関連付けることで比較情報を生成する。あるいは、予約管理装置４０は、「ホテルＰのプランＡのページ」→「旅館Ｒの詳細ページ」→「旅館ＲのプランＸのページ」というページ遷移が発生した際に、ホテルＰのプランＡと旅館ＲのプランＸとが関連付けられた比較情報を生成してもよい。
　このようにページ遷移、表示時間、あるいはページ遷移の操作を考慮することで、ユーザが比較した取引対象を精度良く推定し、ユーザによる明示の比較操作を要することなく自動的に比較情報を生成することができる。
　予約実績データベース３３は、ユーザによる宿泊施設の予約を示す予約情報（注文情報）を記憶する手段である。図４に示すように、予約情報は、ユーザＩＤ、施設ＩＤ、プランＩＤ、利用日、価格、及び予約日時を含んでいる。予約情報は、ユーザ端末１０がユーザ操作に応じて予約処理を予約管理装置４０に要求し、予約管理装置４０がその要求に応じて予約受付処理を実行した際に、当該予約管理装置４０により生成及び格納される。
　なお、各データベースの構成は上記の例に限定されず、任意の方針で各データベースを正規化または冗長化してもよい。
　予約管理装置４０は、宿泊予約サイトを介して宿泊施設の検索や、施設及びプランの比較情報の提供、宿泊予約の受付などのような、宿泊予約に関する様々なサービスをユーザに提供するコンピュータである。
　以上を前提として情報提供装置５０について説明する。情報提供装置５０は、宿泊プランの作成に資する推薦情報を宿泊施設に提供するコンピュータである。
　図５に示すように、情報提供装置５０は、オペレーティングシステムやアプリケーション・プログラムなどを実行するＣＰＵ５０１と、ＲＯＭ及びＲＡＭで構成される主記憶部５０２と、ハードディスクなどで構成される補助記憶部５０３と、ネットワークカードなどで構成される通信制御部５０４と、キーボードやマウスなどの入力部５０５と、ディスプレイなどの出力部５０６とで構成される。
　後述する情報提供装置５０の各機能的構成要素は、ＣＰＵ５０１や主記憶部５０２の上に所定のソフトウェアを読み込ませ、ＣＰＵ５０１の制御の下で通信制御部５０４や入力部５０５、出力部５０６などを動作させ、主記憶部５０２や補助記憶部５０３におけるデータの読み出し及び書き込みを行うことで実現される。処理に必要なデータやデータベースは主記憶部５０２や補助記憶部５０３内に格納される。なお、図５では情報提供装置５０が１台のコンピュータで構成されているように示しているが、情報提供装置５０の機能を複数台のコンピュータに分散させてもよい。
　図６に示すように、情報提供装置５０は機能的構成要素として第１対象特定部５１、第２対象抽出部５２、推薦情報生成部５３、及び送信部（提示部）５４を備えている。
　第１対象特定部５１は、比較情報に含まれ、且つ該比較情報に対応する予約情報に含まれない施設及びプランを第１取引対象として特定する手段である。すなわち、第１取引対象とは、ユーザによる比較の結果予約されなかった施設及びプランのことである。
　まず、第１対象特定部５１は比較履歴データベース３２内の比較情報と予約実績データベース３３内の予約情報とを参照して、これら二種類の情報を対応付ける。この対応付けは、一人のユーザによる一連の操作を特定することを意味する。第１対象特定部５１は、同一のユーザに関する比較情報の比較日時と予約情報の予約日時とを比較して、時間的に連続している比較情報及び予約情報を対応付けることで、一人のユーザによる一連の操作を特定する。
　続いて、第１対象特定部５１は一連の操作として対応付けられた比較情報及び予約情報を参照して、比較情報に含まれ且つ予約情報に含まれない施設及びプランの組合せを抽出する。例えば、図３，４に示すユーザＩＤ「Ｕ００１」の比較情報及び予約情報が関連付けられたとすれば、第１対象特定部５１はホテルＰのプランＡを第１取引対象として特定する。
　第１対象特定部５１は、各ユーザの各回の操作について第１取引対象を特定する。ユーザは三つ以上の施設及びプランを比較する場合があるが、この場合には、第１対象特定部５１は一つの一連の操作に対して複数の第１取引対象を特定する。第１対象特定部５１は第１取引対象を示す情報、すなわち施設ＩＤ及びプランＩＤの組合せを第２対象抽出部５２に出力する。
　第２対象抽出部５２は、第１取引対象である施設及びプランの組合せと比較され、且つユーザにより予約された施設及びプランの組合せを第２取引対象として抽出する手段である。第２対象抽出部５２は入力された１以上の第１取引対象のそれぞれについて以下の処理を実行する。
　まず、第２対象抽出部５２は比較履歴データベース３２及び予約実績データベース３３を参照して、一連の操作において第１取引対象と比較され且つその後予約の申込みがあった施設及びプランの組合せを特定する。例えば、図３，４に示すユーザＩＤ「Ｕ００１」の比較情報及び予約情報が互いに関連付けられ、ユーザＩＤ「Ｕ００３」の比較情報及び予約情報が互いに関連付けられたとすれば、第１対象特定部５１はホテルＱのプランＣと旅館ＲのプランＸとを、第１取引対象「ホテルＰのプランＡ」に対応する第２取引対象として抽出する。このように、一つの第１取引対象に対して複数の第２取引対象が抽出されうる。
　第２対象抽出部５２は、各第１取引対象について１以上の第２取引対象を抽出すると、第１取引対象と第２取引対象との組合せを示す情報を推薦情報生成部５３に出力する。
　推薦情報生成部５３は、第２対象抽出部５２から入力された第１及び第２の取引対象の情報に基づいて、プラン情報に関する提案を示す推薦情報を生成し、その推薦情報を送信部５４に出力する手段である。推薦情報生成部５３は入力された第１及び第２の取引対象の組のそれぞれについて推薦情報を生成する。
　推薦情報の生成方法は限定されない。例えば、推薦情報生成部５３は入力された第２取引対象の施設情報及びプラン情報を施設データベース３１から取得し、その施設情報及びプラン情報を用いて推薦情報を生成してもよい。あるいは、推薦情報生成部５３は第２取引対象のプラン情報のみを用いて推薦情報を生成してもよい。これは、施設情報が設備などのハードウェア面に関する情報であって、宿泊施設にとっては設備に関する提案を得ても容易に対応することが困難であるのに対して、プラン情報はソフトウェア面に関する情報であって、宿泊施設は比較的容易に宿泊プランを変更できるからである。
　また、推薦情報生成部５３は被検索数、予約数、あるいは転換率（コンバージョン・レート。アクセス数に対して取引（注文）が成立する確率）を基準に第２取引対象を順位付け又は選択することで、多くの予約が見込まれるプランを作成し得るような推薦情報を生成してもよい。一例として、推薦情報生成部５３は被検索数、予約数、あるいは転換率の降順に第２取引対象を順位付けし、順位が高い第２取引対象の情報ほどより強く推薦するような推薦情報を生成してもよい。あるいは、推薦情報生成部５３は被検索数、予約数、あるいは転換率についての閾値を予め保持し、被検索数、予約数、あるいは転換率が当該閾値以上の第２取引対象の情報のみを用いて推薦情報を生成してもよい。
　推薦情報生成部５３はこれらの指標を用いて、例えば、「ニーズの高い『蟹＋連泊』のプランαと、転換率の高い『マッサージ＋エステ』のプランβがお勧めです」というような推薦情報を生成する。
　このように推薦情報の生成方法は任意であるが、いずれにしても、推薦情報生成部５３は生成した推薦情報を送信部５４に出力する。なお、推薦情報は、宿泊施設がそのまま流用することが可能な新プランの情報として表現されてもよいし、あくまでも宿泊施設が新プランを作成する際の統計情報として表現されてもよい。
　送信部５４は、入力された推薦情報を、第１取引対象に対応する宿泊施設の提供者端末２０に送信する手段である。これによりその宿泊施設に推薦情報が提示される。
　次に、図７を用いて、情報提供装置５０の動作を説明するとともに本実施形態に係る情報提供方法について説明する。
　まず、第１対象特定部５１が、比較対象として選択されたが予約されなかった施設及びプランの組合せを第１取引対象として特定する（ステップＳ１１、特定ステップ）。具体的には、第１対象特定部５１は一連の操作として対応付けられた比較情報及び予約情報を参照して、比較情報に含まれ且つ予約情報に含まれない施設及びプランの組合せを第１取引対象として特定する。
　続いて、第２対象抽出部５２が、第１取引対象と比較され且つ予約の申込みを受けた施設及びプランの組合せを第２取引対象として抽出する（ステップＳ１２、抽出ステップ）。具体的には、第２対象抽出部５２は比較履歴データベース３２及び予約実績データベース３３を参照して、一連の操作において第１取引対象と比較され且つその後予約の申込みがあった施設及びプランの組合せを抽出する。
　続いて、推薦情報生成部５３が、抽出された第２取引対象の施設情報及びプラン情報に基づいて、上述したような様々な手法のいずれかを用いて、第１取引対象の提供者に示す推薦情報を生成する（ステップＳ１３、生成ステップ）。そして、送信部５４が生成された推薦情報を第１取引対象に対応する提供者端末２０に送信する（ステップＳ１４、提示ステップ）。これにより、第１取引対象に対応する宿泊施設の管理者はユーザのニーズを把握することができ、そのニーズに合致する宿泊プランを検討することができる。
　次に、図８を用いて、コンピュータを情報提供装置５０として機能させるための情報提供プログラムを説明する。
　情報提供プログラムＰ１は、メインモジュールＰ１０、第１対象特定モジュールＰ１１、第２対象抽出モジュールＰ１２、推薦情報生成モジュールＰ１３、及び送信モジュールＰ１４を備えている。
　メインモジュールＰ１０は、情報提供機能を統括的に制御する部分である。第１対象特定モジュールＰ１１、第２対象抽出モジュールＰ１２、推薦情報生成モジュールＰ１３、及び送信モジュールＰ１４を実行することにより実現される機能はそれぞれ、上記の第１対象特定部５１、第２対象抽出部５２、推薦情報生成部５３、及び送信部５４の機能と同様である。
　情報提供プログラムＰ１は、例えば、ＣＤ－ＲＯＭやＤＶＤ－ＲＯＭ等の記録媒体または半導体メモリに固定的に記録された態様で提供される。また、情報提供プログラムＰ１は、搬送波に重畳されたコンピュータデータ信号として通信ネットワークを介して提供されてもよい。
　以上説明したように、本実施形態によれば、比較情報に含まれ且つ注文情報に含まれない第１取引対象が特定される。この第１取引対象は、ユーザに他の取引対象と比較はされたが、注文まで至らなかった取引対象である。続いて、その第１取引対象と比較され且つ注文された第２取引対象が抽出され、当該第２取引対象の情報に基づいて推薦情報が生成され、その推薦情報が第１取引対象の提供者に提示される。このように、注文に結びつかなかった第１取引対象の提供者に対して、当該第１取引対象との比較の末に注文を受けた第２取引対象の情報を提示することで、当該提供者はユーザのニーズを知ることができる。
　以上、本発明をその実施形態に基づいて詳細に説明した。しかし、本発明は上記実施形態に限定されるものではない。本発明は、その要旨を逸脱しない範囲で様々な変形が可能である。
　上記実施形態では本発明を宿泊予約システムに適用したが、本発明は、商品購入を受け付ける仮想商店街のシステムや、ゴルフ場（ゴルフコンペのプラン）の予約を受け付けるシステムなどにも適用可能である。したがって、取引対象も宿泊施設の部屋及び宿泊プランに限定されず、有体物又は無体物の商品（サービス）であってもよいし、ゴルフ場などの共用施設の利用であってもよい。固定情報及び付加情報で示される属性は取引対象ごとに異なる。例えば取引対象が文房具であれば、文房具そのものの属性（寸法や色、機能など）は固定情報で示され、提供者が変更可能な属性（送料や増量の有無など）は付加情報で示される。
　上記実施形態における予約管理装置４０及び情報提供装置５０は一つの装置（サーバ）に統合してもよい。その場合には、情報提供装置は、比較情報を生成して比較履歴データベース３２に格納する比較情報登録部や、予約情報を生成して予約実績データベース３３に登録する予約情報登録部の機能なども備える。

Claims (10)

  1. 　ユーザが複数の取引対象を比較したことを示す比較情報を記憶する比較情報記憶部と、ユーザが他の取引対象と比較した上で注文した取引対象を示す注文情報を記憶する注文情報記憶部とを参照して、前記比較情報に含まれ、且つ該比較情報に対応する前記注文情報に含まれない取引対象を第１取引対象として特定する特定部と、
    　前記比較情報記憶部及び前記注文情報記憶部を参照して、前記第１取引対象と比較され且つユーザに注文された第２取引対象を抽出する抽出部と、
    　取引対象情報を記憶する取引対象記憶部から読み出した前記第２取引対象の取引対象情報に基づいて推薦情報を生成する生成部と、
    　前記推薦情報を第１取引対象の提供者に提示する提示部と
    を備える情報提供装置。
  2. 　前記生成部が、前記比較情報記憶部を参照して前記第２取引対象の検索数を求め、該検索数が所定の閾値以上である第２取引対象の取引対象情報に基づいて前記推薦情報を生成する、
    請求項１に記載の情報提供装置。
  3. 　前記生成部が、前記比較情報記憶部及び前記注文情報記憶部を参照して前記第２取引対象の転換率を求め、該転換率が所定の閾値以上である第２取引対象の取引対象情報に基づいて前記推薦情報を生成する、
    請求項１に記載の情報提供装置。
  4. 　前記取引対象情報が、取引対象そのものの属性を示す固定情報と、該取引対象の付加属性を示す付加情報とを含み、
    　前記生成部が、前記第２取引対象の固定情報を用いることなく、該第２取引対象の付加情報に基づいて前記推薦情報を生成する、
    請求項１～３のいずれか一項に記載の情報提供装置。
  5. 　前記比較情報が、複数の取引対象のウェブページの間でページ遷移が発生した場合に当該複数の取引対象を関連付けることで生成されたものである、
    請求項１～４のいずれか一項に記載の情報提供装置。
  6. 　前記比較情報が、所定の時間範囲内において所定時間以上表示された複数のウェブページに対応する複数の取引対象を関連付けることで生成されたものである、
    請求項１～４のいずれか一項に記載の情報提供装置。
  7. 　前記比較情報が、複数の取引対象について同じページ遷移の操作が発生した場合に当該複数の取引対象を関連付けることで生成されたものである、
    請求項１～４のいずれか一項に記載の情報提供装置。
  8. 　情報提供装置により実行される情報提供方法であって、
    　ユーザが複数の取引対象を比較したことを示す比較情報を記憶する比較情報記憶部と、ユーザが他の取引対象と比較した上で注文した取引対象を示す注文情報を記憶する注文情報記憶部とを参照して、前記比較情報に含まれ、且つ該比較情報に対応する前記注文情報に含まれない取引対象を第１取引対象として特定する特定ステップと、
    　前記比較情報記憶部及び前記注文情報記憶部を参照して、前記第１取引対象と比較され且つユーザに注文された第２取引対象を抽出する抽出ステップと、
    　取引対象情報を記憶する取引対象記憶部から読み出した前記第２取引対象の取引対象情報に基づいて推薦情報を生成する生成ステップと、
    　前記推薦情報を第１取引対象の提供者に提示する提示ステップと
    を含む情報提供方法。
  9. 　ユーザが複数の取引対象を比較したことを示す比較情報を記憶する比較情報記憶部と、ユーザが他の取引対象と比較した上で注文した取引対象を示す注文情報を記憶する注文情報記憶部とを参照して、前記比較情報に含まれ、且つ該比較情報に対応する前記注文情報に含まれない取引対象を第１取引対象として特定する特定部と、
    　前記比較情報記憶部及び前記注文情報記憶部を参照して、前記第１取引対象と比較され且つユーザに注文された第２取引対象を抽出する抽出部と、
    　取引対象情報を記憶する取引対象記憶部から読み出した前記第２取引対象の取引対象情報に基づいて推薦情報を生成する生成部と、
    　前記推薦情報を第１取引対象の提供者に提示する提示部と
    をコンピュータに実行させる情報提供プログラム。
  10. 　ユーザが複数の取引対象を比較したことを示す比較情報を記憶する比較情報記憶部と、ユーザが他の取引対象と比較した上で注文した取引対象を示す注文情報を記憶する注文情報記憶部とを参照して、前記比較情報に含まれ、且つ該比較情報に対応する前記注文情報に含まれない取引対象を第１取引対象として特定する特定部と、
    　前記比較情報記憶部及び前記注文情報記憶部を参照して、前記第１取引対象と比較され且つユーザに注文された第２取引対象を抽出する抽出部と、
    　取引対象情報を記憶する取引対象記憶部から読み出した前記第２取引対象の取引対象情報に基づいて推薦情報を生成する生成部と、
    　前記推薦情報を第１取引対象の提供者に提示する提示部と
    をコンピュータに実行させる情報提供プログラムを記憶するコンピュータ読取可能な記録媒体。
