- FIG. 7D shows a cross section of the medicine syringe 10 in the reading area 37 of the information reading device 19.
- the medicine syringe 10 is columnar as described above. Since it is a body (cylindrical state), the reading area 37 is also in a spherical state. Therefore, it is important to display the information symbol 18 in the central portion as much as possible even for a plurality of information symbols 18 existing in the reading area 37 in order to exhibit reading stability. That is, the information reading device 19 is arranged in the center of the reading area 37, and the information symbol 18 that is as close as possible to the light receiving element 32 of the information reading device 19 is read out of the plurality of information symbols 18 as much as possible. Since a close information symbol is selected, reading stability can be achieved.
- the edge line 34 when the edge line 34 happens to be present in the reading area 37, the information existing in the vicinity of the edge line 34 is avoided.
- the symbol 18 is read out. That is, even if the information symbol 18 exists in the central portion in the reading area 37, the information symbol 18 is incomplete if it is covered with the edge line 34. Therefore, the information symbol 18 that is not covered by the edge line 34 existing in the vicinity is read out while avoiding the information symbol 18 covered by the edge line 34.
- the term “covered by the edge line 34” includes a state in which at least a part of the information symbol 18 is covered by the edge line 34, and the edge line 34 is printed or applied on at least a part of the information symbol 18. Including the state that is.
- the read control unit 26 permits the administration of the above-described drug if the drug name or expiration date is appropriate, but if the drug name or expiration date is inappropriate, the sounder 29 used as an alarm unit is used. In addition, an alarm is issued from the vibrator 30, and the medicine administration operation is stopped. More specifically, as described above, the reading control unit 261 reads the drug name, expiration date, and the like of the information symbol 18, and the drug administration control unit 262 issues an alarm from the sounder 29 and the vibrator 30, and administers the drug. Operation is stopped.
- the reading control unit 261 in the control unit 26 searches whether or not the center line 35 exists in the data read by the light receiving element 32 from the reading area 37 (S1 in FIG. 8). Next, a setting that the start mark 36 is in an undetected state and a setting that reading starts from the upper stage are performed (S2 in FIG. 8).
- the detection operation of the start mark 36 is performed by sequentially detecting an area obtained by dividing the area from the left end to the right end in FIG. is there. Therefore, as a conclusion, the detection work of the start mark 36 is performed 400 times in both the upper stage and the lower stage. In the present specification, among 400 divided areas obtained by dividing the reading area 37 into 400, the nth divided area from the left is described as n / 400.
- the control process proceeds to S3.
- S4 is for detecting the upper stage and the lower stage 400 times each.
- the control process shifts to S5 next on the upper stage side.
- S5 it is detected each time whether or not the start mark 36 exists in the detection portion.
- the control process proceeds to S6.
- the control process proceeds to S7.
- the code end position (the code end position is the position where the information symbol 18 ends from the start mark 36, that is, the width of the information symbol 18) is confirmed.
- the confirmation of the code end position means that the end position of the information symbol 18 is detected by the difference in reflectance, and detection is performed in consideration of the distance from the start mark 36 (width of the information symbol 18). It is not a thing. For example, even if an operation is performed in consideration of the distance, the sheet-like member 33 is attached to the columnar drug syringe body 100. Therefore, when the image is taken with the imaging device, the left and right sides from the center 37a of the reading area 37 are left and right. This is because the image is compressed as the distance increases, and it is difficult to measure an accurate distance.
- the information symbol 18r arranged on the left side of the edge line 34 is a portion of the sheet-like member 33 on the left end 33L side where the edge line 34 exists, and is partially covered, so that the start mark 36 is read. Then, the edge line 34 is read. As described above, the lower information symbols 18o, 18p, 18q, and 18r are not registered in the database.
- the information symbol 18 is a curved surface in the reading area 37, the information symbol 18 is close to the center of the reading area 37 (see the center 37a shown in FIGS. 6A and 6B).
- the information can be read by the information reading device 19 in a plane.
- the data of the upper or lower information symbol 18 selected in this way is confirmed for error correction in S15. If the error correction is inappropriate, the control process returns to S14 in order to select the next candidate in S16. That is, when the information symbol 18 selected in S14 is dirty, for example, appropriate data cannot be read therefrom. Therefore, in S14, the information symbol 18 closest to the center of the reading area 37 next to the previously selected information symbol 18 is selected, and the data is read (S16).
- the decoding process in S14 corresponds to an example of an information acquisition process.
- the X coordinate of the start mark 36 of each information symbol 18 is registered in the database.
- This database shows the X coordinate of the start mark 36 of each information symbol 18, and the distance from the center 37 a of the reading area 37 of each information symbol 18 is calculated from the X coordinate of the start mark 36.
- the X coordinate of the center 37a is 200.
- the position of the start mark 36 indicates the distance from the center.
- the X coordinate of the start mark 36 of the information symbol 18 indicated by c in FIG. 6A is 240, for example, the distance of the information symbol 18 from the center 37a is 240-200. It is calculated and becomes 40.
- the distance to the center is not the start mark 36 side but the right side of the code area.
- the width of the information symbol 18 is set to 152 and there is an information symbol 18 whose X coordinate of the start mark 36 is 3, the distance of the information symbol 18 from the center 37a is 200 ⁇ (3 + 152). And is 45.
- the information symbol 18 whose distance from the center 37a is 40 is selected as the information symbol 18 close to the center 37a.
- a strip-shaped sheet-shaped member and a plurality of the same information symbols displayed on the surface of the sheet-shaped member are provided, and at least one of the one end side and the other end side of the sheet-shaped member, Since the edge line is provided, the information symbol can be read appropriately. That is, since at least one of the one end side and the other end side of the sheet-like member is provided with an edge line, an information symbol in an uncovered state can be read by the edge line, and as a result, Information symbols can be read appropriately.
- the code end position of the information symbol 18q is detected after the start mark 36 of the information symbol 18r is detected, as described with reference to FIG. 6B.
- An information symbol obtained by combining the information symbol 18r lacking information and the information symbol 18q is determined to be effective as one information symbol, and may be subject to decoding.
- the edge line 34 as in the present embodiment and detecting the edge line 34, the information symbol 18r and the information symbol 18q are not registered in the database and are not subject to decoding. Information can be read. When a plurality of information symbols are selected, more accurate information can be read by selecting and reading information symbols that are closer to the light receiving element 32 of the information reading device 19.
- Embodiment 2 9 to 16 are diagrams showing Embodiment 2 of the present invention.

- the code end position corresponding to any one of the four groups A group, B group, C group, D group, E group, F group, and G group is obtained. Since it does not exist, at that time, the control process proceeds to S202.
- the divided area where reading is performed is moved from the first (1/400) to the second (2/400).
- S203 it is determined whether or not reading of all 400 divided areas has been completed. However, since reading of all divided areas has not been completed, the control process moves to S204. Subsequently, in S205, it is determined whether or not the edge line 34 is present in the 2/400 divided area for the second detection. In the state of FIG. 9B, since the edge line 34 does not exist in this 2/400 divided area, the control process proceeds to S206. In S206, the code end position is confirmed. However, in this leftmost state, the code end position does not exist, so the control process proceeds to S202.
- the control process proceeds from S214 to S215.
- a loop returning to S202 again through S202, S203, S204, S205, and S206 is repeated, and in this loop repetition, the start mark 36f is confirmed in S204, and the third step is performed in the same step as above.

以降の説明を理解しやすくするために、読取エリア37に存在する情報シンボル18はA(A1、A2、A3、A4、A5、A6、A7、A8、A9、A10、A11、A12、A13、A14、A15、A16)、B(B1、B2、B3、B4、B5、B6、B7、B8、B9、B10、B11、B12、B13、B14、B15、B16)、C(C1、C2、C3、C4、C5、C6、C7、C8、C9、C10、C11、C12、C13、C14、C15、C16)、D(D1、D2、D3、D4、D5、D6、D7、D8、D9、D10、D11、D12、D13、D14、D15、D16)、E(E1、E2、E3、E4、E5、E6、E7、E8、E9、E10、E11、E12、E13、E14、E15、E16)、F(F1、F2、F3、F4、F5、F6、F7、F8、F9、F10、F11、F12、F13、F14、F15、F16)、G(G1、G2、G3、G4、G5、G6、G7、G8、G9、G10、G11、G12、G13、G14、G15、G16)と表示する。
