Abstract
La présente invention concerne un procédé de fabrication d'un absorbant de lithium à base d'oxyde de manganèse poreux. Le procédé de fabrication dudit absorbant comprend une étape de mélange d'une matière de réaction pour synthétiser des précurseurs de manganèse-lithium avec un liant inorganique afin de préparer un mélange ; une étape de moulage du mélange ; une étape de traitement thermique du mélange moulé pour fabriquer un produit moulé à base du précurseur lithium-manganèse poreux ; et une étape d'acidification du produit moulé à base du précurseur lithium-manganèse poreux pour modifier des ions lithium en ions hydrogène. Lors du processus de traitement thermique, un gaz peut être généré pour former des pores dans le produit moulé à base du précurseur lithium-manganèse. L'absorbant de lithium à base d'oxyde de manganèse poreux selon la présente invention peut être facilement manipulé et engendre plus de sites de réaction d'absorption qu'un absorbant moulé existant pour améliorer l'efficacité d'absorption du lithium.
