Abstract
The invention relates to a cleaning device (9, 10) for a vertically mounted heat exchanger located in a buffer tank (1) for waste water. The cleaning device (9, 10) consists of a floatable material. The configuration is annular or polygonal with a polygonal recess and surrounds the heat exchanger (6). A brush strip or rubber lip is provided on the inside of the cleaning device (9, 10), such that said strip or lip contacts the outer wall of the heat exchanger (6). The altering fill level in the buffer tank (1) creates an up and down movement of the cleaning device (9, 10) and hence results in a cleaning of the heat exchanger (6).
