Abstract

Es wird eine Antriebseinheit für einen elektrischen Motor (13) umfassend einen Multilevel-Inverter (80) und eine Batterie (10) eingeführt. Die Batterie (10) umfasst wenigstens einen Batteriemodulstrang (70), welcher eine Mehrzahl von in Serie geschalteten Batteriemodulen (40-1,..., 40-n) mit jeweils wenigstens einer Batteriezelle (41) und einer Koppeleinheit (30) umfasst. Die wenigstens eine Batteriezelle (41) ist zwischen einen ersten Eingang (31) und einen zweiten Eingang (32) der Koppeleinheit (30) geschaltet. Die Koppeleinheit (30) ist ausgebildet, auf ein erstes Steuersignal hin die wenigstens eine Batteriezelle (41) zwischen zwei Terminals (42, 43) des Batteriemoduls (40-1,..., 40-n) zu schalten und auf ein zweites Steuersignal hin die zwei Terminals (42, 43) zu verbinden. An dem Batteriemodulstrang (70) sind mehrere Mittelabgriffe (73-1,..., 73-(n-1)) angeordnet, mit welchen ein Potential an einer Verbindung zwischen jeweils zwei Batteriemodulen (40-1,..., 40-n) abgreifbar ist. Eingänge des Multilevel-Inverters (80) sind mit den Mittelabgriffen (73-1,..., 73-(n-1)) verbunden.
