Abstract
Description
図1及び図2に示すように、リチウムイオン二次電池である角形電池(二次電池)1は、角形ケース2を備え、この角形ケース2内には極板群3が収容されている。角形ケース2の所定箇所には、図示しない正極端子と負極端子が設けられている。また角形ケース2内には、有機溶媒にリチウム塩を配合してなる電解液が充填されている。
図13は実施形態2に係る極板群の製造装置を示す概略図である。なお同一部材には同一符号を付し、重複する説明は省略する。
図14は実施形態3に係る極板群を示す概略図であり、図15は、実施形態3に係る製造装置を示す概略図である。なお同一部材には同一符号を付し、重複する説明は省略する。
以上、本発明の実施形態について説明したが、本発明は、上記の実施形態に限定されるものではい。本発明は、その趣旨を逸脱しない範囲で適宜変更が可能なものである。

Claims (12)
- 複数のガイド部材でセパレータを押すことにより、前記セパレータをジグザグ折りにするジグザグ折り工程と、
ジグザグ折りにされた前記セパレータの各谷溝内に正極板と負極板とを交互に挿入することにより、前記セパレータを介して前記正極板と前記負極板とが交互に重なり合う積層体を形成する積層体形成工程と、
前記セパレータの各谷溝内から前記ガイド部材を抜去する抜去工程と、
前記積層体を前記正極板と前記負極板とが積層された方向に押圧する押圧工程と、を有し、
前記ジグザグ折り工程は、前記セパレータをテンションフリーの状態にしてから行うことを特徴とする二次電池の製造方法。 - 複数のガイド部材で負極板を2枚のセパレータで挟んだ重畳体を押すことにより、前記重畳体をジグザグ折りにするジグザグ折り工程と、
ジグザグ折りにされた前記重畳体の各谷溝内に正極板を挿入することにより、前記セパレータを介して前記正極板と前記負極板とが交互に重なり合う積層体を形成する積層体形成工程と、
前記重畳体の各谷溝内から前記ガイド部材を抜去する抜去工程と、
前記積層体を前記正極板と前記負極板とが積層された方向に押圧する押圧工程と、を有し、
前記ジグザグ折り工程は、前記重畳体をテンションフリーの状態にしてから行うことを特徴とする二次電池の製造方法。 - 前記複数のガイド部材を鉛直方向にジグザグ状に配置し、前記ガイド部材の一方の列と他方の列との間に前記セパレータ又は前記重畳体を配置するセパレータ配置工程をさらに有し、
前記ジグザグ折り工程は、前記ガイド部材を列同士間で水平方向に交差させることにより行うことを特徴とする請求項1又は2に記載の二次電池の製造方法。 - 前記セパレータ配置工程は、前記ガイド部材の一方の列と他方の列との間に前記セパレータ又は前記重畳体を配置した後、各列の前記ガイド部材を前記セパレータ又は前記重畳体に当接させて当該セパレータ又は前記重畳体の移動を規制した状態で前記セパレータ又は前記重畳体をテンションフリーの状態にすることを特徴とする請求項3に記載の二次電池の製造方法。
- 前記セパレータ又は前記重畳体を所定長に切断する切断工程をさらに有することを特徴とする請求項1~4の何れか一項に記載の二次電池の製造方法。
- 前記切断工程は、前記押圧工程の後に行われることを特徴とする請求項5に記載の二次電池の製造方法。
- 前記切断工程は、前記ジグザグ折り工程の前に行われることを特徴とする請求項5に記載の二次電池の製造方法。
- 前記切断工程の前に前記セパレータ又は前記重畳体が巻回されたロールから所定長の前記セパレータ又は前記重畳体を繰り出す繰り出し工程をさらに有し、
前記繰り出し工程と前記切断工程は、一つ前の二次電池を製造するために行われる前記押圧工程までに行われることを特徴とする請求項7に記載の二次電池の製造方法。 - 鉛直方向にジグザグ状に配列された複数のガイド部材を有し、前記ガイド部材の一方の列と他方の列との間にセパレータが配置されると、前記ガイド部材を列同士間で水平方向に交差させて前記セパレータをジグザグ折りするジグザグ折り手段と、
所定枚数の前記正極板又は前記負極板が載置される正極板用又は負極板用極板搬送部材を備え、前記正極板用又は前記負極板用極板搬送部材を前記セパレータの各谷溝内に移動させることで各谷溝内に前記正極板と前記負極板とを交互に挿入する極板挿入手段と、
前記セパレータを保持して前記ジグザグ折り手段に搬送すると共に、前記セパレータがジグザグ折りされる際に当該セパレータをテンションフリーの状態にする搬送手段と、を備えることを特徴とする二次電池の製造装置。 - 鉛直方向にジグザグ状に配列された複数のガイド部材を有し、前記ガイド部材の一方の列と他方の列との間に負極板を2枚のセパレータで挟んだ重畳体が配置されると、前記ガイド部材が列同士間で水平方向に交差して前記重畳体をジグザグ折りするジグザグ折り手段と、
所定枚数の前記正極板が載置される正極板用極板搬送部材を備え、前記正極板用極板搬送部材を前記重畳体の各谷溝内に移動させることで各谷溝内に前記正極板を挿入する極板挿入手段と、
前記重畳体を保持して前記ジグザグ折り手段に搬送すると共に、前記重畳体がジグザグ折りされる際に前記重畳体をテンションフリーの状態にする搬送手段と、を備えることを特徴とする二次電池の製造装置。 - 前記搬送手段は、前記セパレータ又は前記重畳体がジグザグ折りされる際に、所定長に切断された前記セパレータ又は前記重畳体をテンションフリーの状態にすることを特徴とする請求項9又は10に記載の二次電池の製造装置。
- 前記セパレータ又は前記重畳体が搬送される搬送系と、前記セパレータ又は前記重畳体を切断する切断部とを備え、所定長の前記セパレータ又は前記重畳体を前記搬送手段に供給する供給手段を備え、
前記搬送手段は、前記供給手段から供給された所定長の前記セパレータ又は前記重畳体を前記ジグザグ折り手段に搬送することを特徴とする請求項11に記載の二次電池の製造装置。
