以下において、間欠受信(DRX;Discontinuous Reception)について説明する。図4~図6は、間欠受信について説明するための図である。UE10は、消費電力を抑制するために、間欠受信を構成することが可能である。なお、ここでは、UE10とeNB110との間でRRCコネクションが設定された状態(RRCコネクティッド状態)において間欠受信が構成されるケースについて説明する。
以下において、第1実施形態に係る無線端末について説明する。図7は、第1実施形態に係るUE10を示すブロック図である。図7に示すように、UE10は、通信部11と、制御部12とを有する。
以下において、第1実施形態に係る移動通信方法について説明する。図8は、第1実施形態に係る移動通信方法を示すシーケンス図である。
実施形態では、eNB110は、サービングセルから送信される下り方向信号を監視すべきオン期間以外の期間(すなわち、オフ期間)において、ページング信号を所定のタイミングで送信し、UE10は、サービングセルから送信される下り方向信号を監視すべきオン期間以外の期間(すなわち、オフ期間)において、ページング信号を所定のタイミングで監視する。
本発明は上述した実施形態によって説明したが、この開示の一部をなす論述及び図面は、この発明を限定するものであると理解すべきではない。この開示から当業者には様々な代替実施形態、実施例及び運用技術が明らかとなろう。
Claims (6)
- 無線端末と無線基地局との間でRRCコネクションが設定されたRRCコネクティッド状態において、サービング基地局から送信される下り方向信号を監視すべきオン期間及び前記オン期間以外のオフ期間を有するDRX周期を構成する移動通信方法であって、
前記無線基地局が、前記無線端末に対して前記DRX周期が構成されている場合に、前記オフ期間において、前記無線端末の着信を通知するページング信号を所定タイミングで前記無線端末に送信する工程Aと、
前記無線端末が、前記DRX周期が構成されている場合に、前記オフ期間において、前記所定タイミングで前記ページング信号を監視する工程Bとを含むことを特徴とする移動通信方法。 - 前記無線端末が、前記ページング信号の受信に応じて、前記DRX周期を解除する工程Cを含むことを特徴とする請求項1に記載の移動通信方法。
- 前記工程Cは、前記無線端末が、前記DRX周期を解除して、前記下り方向信号を連続的に監視する工程を含むことを特徴とする請求項1に記載の移動通信方法。
- 前記工程Cは、前記無線端末が、前記DRX周期を解除して、前記DRX周期よりも短いDRX周期を構成する工程を含むことを特徴とする請求項1に記載の移動通信方法。
- 前記工程Cは、前記無線端末が、前記ページング信号の受信に応じて、前記無線基地局に対する再接続手順を開始する工程を含むことを特徴とする請求項1に記載の移動通信方法。
- 無線端末と無線基地局との間でRRCコネクションが設定されたRRCコネクティッド状態において、サービング基地局から送信される下り方向信号を監視すべきオン期間及び前記オン期間以外のオフ期間を有するDRX周期を構成する移動通信システムにおいて、前記下り方向信号を受信する無線端末であって、
前記DRX周期が構成されている場合に、前記オフ期間において、所定タイミングでページング信号を監視する制御部を備えることを特徴とする無線端末。
