Definitions
- the present invention relates to a polymer exhibiting high charge mobility and high solubility, and a photoelectric conversion element that converts light energy into electric energy by photoelectric conversion using the polymer.
- Organic thin-film solar cells are considered to be promising next-generation solar cells because they are flexible and can be expected to have a large area, light weight, and a simple and inexpensive manufacturing method. At present, significant improvement in conversion efficiency is an important issue for practical application of organic thin-film solar cells.
- a bulk heterojunction by mixing a P-type semiconductor (electron donor) and an N-type semiconductor (electron acceptor, for example, C60 derivative) is known.
- the advantage of the bulk heterojunction is that the P-type semiconductor / N-type semiconductor interface is widened, so that photo-induced charge separation occurs efficiently, and the photocurrent increases as compared with a two-layer solar cell.
- the charge mobility (hole mobility) in the P-type semiconductor is lower than the charge mobility (electron mobility) in the N-type semiconductor. Yes.
- the polymer with high crystallinity has low solubility in an organic solvent, it is difficult to widen the contact area with the N-type semiconductor, and the charge separation efficiency at the PN junction interface is reduced. Therefore, the short-circuit current density (Jsc) and FF There is a problem that (Fill factor) cannot be obtained sufficiently.
- the polymer with high crystallinity has low solubility with respect to an organic solvent, it is difficult to apply the coating process, which has been a factor in increasing the manufacturing cost.
- the present invention has been made in view of such problems, and an object thereof is to provide a technique capable of improving the photoelectric conversion efficiency of a photoelectric conversion element including an organic semiconductor that forms a bulk heterojunction.
- the polymer is a polymer composed of a repeating unit containing a thiazolothiazole skeleton represented by the following formula (1) and a 5-membered ring containing a hetero atom, and has a hole mobility of 7.5 measured by the SCLC method. ⁇ 10 ⁇ 5 cm 2 / Vs or more, and solubility in 1 mL of chlorobenzene is 10 mg or more.
- R 1 , R 2 , R 3 and R 4 are independently any one of a branched alkyl group, a linear alkyl group, an alkyl ester group, a carboxyalkyl group and an alkoxy group.
- X is independently any one of S, O, and N.
- the ratio of linear alkyl groups does not exceed 50%, and the number average molecular weight is 15000 or more in terms of polystyrene. There may be.
- R 1 and R 2 may be branched alkyl groups, and R 3 and R 4 may be linear alkyl groups.

Description

第1の電極30は、光電変換層50の受光面側に位置しており、ITO(Indium Tin Oxide)、SnO2、FTO(Fluorine doped Tin Oxide)、ZnO、AZO(Aluminum doped Zinc Oxide)、IZO(Indium doped Zinc Oxide)等の導電性金属酸化物や、金、銀、銅、アルミニウムなどの金属薄膜などの透明導電膜で形成されている。
