(1)請求項1により、従来のデジタル字幕放送からの映像信号、音声信号および字幕データ信号を受信して、視聴者のモニターに変調しないそのままの字幕表示をするとともに、該字幕表示のタイミングに合わせて可変調整した映像表示、音声表示を表示させることができる。
(2)前記(1)により、放送局側の設備を変更する必要がないので、従来通りの字幕放送を行なうことができる。
(3)前記(1)により、字幕放送と視聴者モニターとに接続する従来の録画再生機と同様に接続して使用できるので、取り扱いが容易にできる。
(4)前記(1)により、字幕データ信号で文字データ記録がなされるため、文字検索により、膨大なテレビ番組のアーカイプス検索を簡単かつ的確にできるほか、議会中継等の字幕放送では、文字データの記録、つまり「録字機能」により、リアルタイムで速記録が簡単に作成できる等、議会記録の迅速・公開・経費節減等を一気に促進され、議会大改革が可能にできる。
(5)請求項2も前記(1)~(4)と同様な効果が得られる。
(6)請求項3も前記(1)~(4)と同様な効果が得られるとともに、字幕データを視聴者モニターで必要な時に再生することができる。
(7)請求項4も前記(1)~(4)と同様な効果が得られるとともに、生字幕放送や収録字幕放送であっても、最適に視聴者のモニターに字幕表示、映像表示、音声表示を表示させることができる。
(8)請求項5も前記(1)~(4)、(7)と同様な効果が得られる。

- デジタル字幕放送からの映像信号、音声信号および字幕データ信号を受信する映像信号受信器、音声信号受信器および字幕データ信号受信器と、この映像信号受信器、音声信号受信器および字幕データ信号受信器からの信号をそれぞれ受信して視聴者モニターへ送信する映像信号送信器、音声信号送信器および字幕データ信号送信器と、前記映像信号受信器、音声信号受信器と前記映像信号送信器、音声信号送信器との間に設けられた、前記視聴者モニターでの字幕表示に合わせて映像表示、音声表示の表示タイミングを調整することができる可変表示調整器とを備えたことを特徴とするデジタル字幕放送用レコーダ。
- 可変表示調整器は視聴者モニターでの映像表示および音声表示を字幕表示の表示タイミングに合わせることができるものであることを特徴とする請求項1記載のデジタル字幕放送用レコーダ。
- 字幕データ信号受信器には字幕データを記録・保存し、視聴者モニターで再生表示する再生表示装置が設けられていることを特徴とする請求項1記載のデジタル字幕放送用レコーダ。
- デジタル字幕放送からの放送が生字幕放送か収録字幕放送であるかを識別する生字幕・収録字幕識別装置を介して放送からの映像信号、音声信号および字幕データ信号を受信する映像信号受信器、音声信号受信器および字幕データ信号受信器と、この映像信号受信器、音声信号受信器および字幕データ信号受信器からの信号をそれぞれ受信して視聴者モニターへ送信する映像信号送信器、音声信号送信器および字幕データ信号送信器と、前記映像信号受信器、音声信号受信器と前記映像信号送信器、音声信号送信器との間に設けられた、前記生字幕・収録字幕識別装置が生字幕放送であると識別した場合に前記視聴者モニターでの字幕表示に合わせて映像表示、音声表示の表示タイミングを調整することができるオン状態となり、前記生字幕・収録字幕識別装置が収録字幕放送であると識別した場合に前記視聴者モニターへ前記映像信号受信器、音声信号受信器で受信した信号を表示タイミングを調整することなく前記映像信号受信器、音声信号受信器へ送信するオフ状態となる可変表示調整器とを備えたことを特徴とするデジタル字幕放送用レコーダ。
- 生字幕・収録字幕識別装置はデジタル字幕放送の字幕の前の記号あるいは放送設備側で設ける生字幕放送であるという識別信号で識別するものであることを特徴とする請求項4記載のデジタル字幕放送用レコーダ。
