Abstract

L'invention concerne un chauffe-eau instantané (1) et un procédé permettant de faire fonctionner un chauffe-eau instantané comportant un échangeur thermique (2) destiné à chauffer un liquide qui le traverse, lequel présente une entrée d'eau sanitaire (21) destinée à être raccordée à une conduite d'eau froide (31) et une sortie d'eau sanitaire (22) destinée à être raccordée à une conduite d'eau chaude (32), une commande servant à réguler une température extérieure du liquide fourni. L'invention vise à permettre le fonctionnement du chauffe-eau instantané même en cas de raccordement de la conduite d'eau froide (31) à la sortie d'eau sanitaire (22) et de raccordement de la conduite d'eau chaude (32) à l'entrée d'eau sanitaire (21). A cet effet, un capteur de température (6) est agencé sur l'entrée d'eau sanitaire (21) et permet de régler la température réelle du liquide sur une température théorique prédéfinie en fonction du sens dans lequel le liquide traverse l'échangeur thermique (2).
