Description

マイクロミキサー、およびマイクロ流体チップ
 本発明は、微小な構成で2種類以上の液体を混合するマイクロミキサー、および微細流路を有する構成において2種類以上の液体の混合を可能とするマイクロ流体チップに関する。
 従来より、微細流路に複数の液体を供給し、液体の混合や反応を行うマイクロ流体チップが知られている。
 この微細流路は、幅および深さが数μm~数百μmの小さな寸法を有するとともに、該微細流路では、液体の流速も小さくなる。このため、該微細流路では、流体のレイノルズ数は数百以下となり、従来の反応装置のような乱流支配とはならず、層流支配の態様となる。
 このような層流支配の下での異なる種類の液体同士の混合は、各液体の接触界面における分子拡散によるものが主となる。そして、該液体同士における混合の挙動は、液体の拡散方向の厚さ(異種の液体が均一濃度になるまで拡散すべき距離=拡散距離)で規定されるとともに、該混合には長時間を要する。
 そこで、2種類の液体が、それぞれ分割されて複数の流れとされたものが交互に配列されるように供給されることで、異なる種類の複数の液体同士の間の接触面積が増加し、液体同士の混合が促進される技術が提案されている(例えば、特許文献1等)。また、円柱状の混合槽の下部から異なる種類の流体が旋回流が発生するように導入されることで、流体同士の混合が促進される技術が提案されている(例えば、特許文献2等)。

 しかしながら、上記特許文献1の技術では、拡散を用いた混合に使用される長い流路が必要となるとともに、各液体を分割するとともに複数の液体を層状に吐出するための構成が大掛かりなものとなる。このため、装置の複雑化および大型化を招く。
 また、上記特許文献2の技術では、液体の流量に対して混合槽のサイズが適切でなければ、液体の旋回流は生じない。また、混合槽の下部から導入された液体が該混合槽の上部から取り出されるため、混合槽に残留する液体が失われてしまう。したがって、定量された液体の混合には不向きと考えられる。
 本発明は、上記課題に鑑みてなされたものであり、簡易な構成で2種類以上の液体の混合を効率良く行うことが可能なマイクロミキサーおよび該マイクロミキサーを搭載したマイクロ流体チップを提供することを目的とする。
 上記課題を解決するために、第1の態様に係るマイクロミキサーは、第1および第2液体が流される微細流路と、前記微細流路に連通される液体注入口が底部に設けられる混合槽と、を備える。そして、該マイクロミキサーでは、前記液体注入口が、前記底部のうちの該底部の中央からずれた位置に設けられる。
 第2の態様に係るマイクロミキサーは、第1および第2液体が流される微細流路と、前記微細流路と連通される液体注入口が底部に設けられる混合槽と、を備える。そして、該マイクロミキサーでは、前記液体注入口が、前記混合槽の中心線からずれた位置に設けられる。
 第3の態様に係るマイクロミキサーは、第1および第2液体が流される微細流路と、前記微細流路と連通される液体注入口が底部に設けられる混合槽と、を備える。そして、該マイクロミキサーでは、前記混合槽の内壁によって囲まれる内部空間領域の水平方向に沿った断面において、前記液体注入口の中央から上方に仮想的に延伸される仮想線が通る位置から一方向に係る前記内壁までの第1の距離と、前記仮想線が通る位置から前記一方向とは反対方向に係る前記内壁までの第2の距離とが、異なる。
 第4の態様に係るマイクロミキサーは、第1から第3の何れか1つの態様に係るマイクロミキサーであって、前記混合槽の底部に少なくとも1つの凸部が設けられる。
 第5の態様に係るマイクロミキサーは、第1から第4の何れか1つの態様に係るマイクロミキサーであって、前記混合槽の内壁面上を前記液体注入口から第1方向に所定距離進む経路において該内壁面と水平面とが成す角度の第1変化量と、前記混合槽の内壁面上を前記液体注入口から前記第1方向とは反対の第2方向に前記所定距離進む経路において該内壁面と前記水平面とが成す角度の第2変化量とが異なる。
 第6の態様に係るマイクロミキサーは、第5の態様に係るマイクロミキサーであって、前記第1変化量が、前記第2変化量よりも相対的に大きく、前記混合槽の底部のうちの前記液体注入口を基準とした前記第2方向に、前記液体注入口に向けて先細りする傾斜部が設けられる。
 第7の態様に係るマイクロミキサーは、第1から第6の何れか1つの態様に係るマイクロミキサーであって、前記混合槽の内壁の表面が、撥水性を有する。
 第8の態様に係るマイクロミキサーは、第1から第7の何れか1つの態様に係るマイクロミキサーであって、前記液体注入口が、前記混合槽に貯留される液体を前記微細流路に向けて排出する。
 第9の態様に係るマイクロミキサーは、第1から第8の何れか1つの態様に係るマイクロミキサーであって、前記第1液体を前記微細流路に対して供給する第1供給路と、前記第2液体を前記微細流路に対して供給する第2供給路と、を更に備える。
 第10の態様に係るマイクロ流体チップは、第1から第9の何れか1つの態様に係るマイクロミキサーと、前記混合槽において前記第1および第2液体が混合されることで生成される混合液体が前記混合槽から排出される流路の内壁面近傍に設けられ、前記混合液体に含まれる物質との反応を行う反応物質が固定される反応部と、を備える。
 第1から第9の何れの態様に係るマイクロミキサーによっても、同時期に液体注入口から2種類以上の液体が混合槽に注入される際に、混合槽において2種類以上の液体が混合され易い流れが生じるため、簡易な構成で2種類以上の液体の混合を効率良く行うことができる。
 第4の態様に係るマイクロミキサーによれば、底部に設けられた凸部を液体が越える際に、2種類以上の液体が混合され易くなるような乱れた流れが生じ易くなる。
 第5の態様に係るマイクロミキサーによれば、2種類以上の液体が混合され易くなるような対流が生じ易くなる。
 第6の態様に係るマイクロミキサーによれば、例えば、傾斜部の存在により、混合槽に貯留される液体が液体注入口から排出される際に、混合槽に液体が残留し難く、液体の無駄使いが抑制される。
 第7の態様に係るマイクロミキサーによれば、混合槽の底部において、重力に起因して液体が横向きに進行しようとする力と、表面張力に起因して液体の横向きの進行が抑止される力とが、平衡状態にある場合と平衡状態にない場合とが順次に生じ易くなることで、2種類以上の液体が混合され易い乱れた流れが生じ易くなる。
 第8の態様に係るマイクロミキサーによれば、混合槽に貯留される液体が、混合槽の底部に設けられる液体注入口から排出されるため、簡易な構成で混合槽における液体の残留を抑制することができる。したがって、液体の無駄使いが抑制される。
 第10の態様に係るマイクロ流体チップによれば、マイクロミキサーにおいて効率良く2種類以上の液体が混合されるため、混合液体と反応部とを迅速に反応させることができる。

 以下、本発明の一実施形態を図面に基づいて説明する。
 <(1)マイクロ流体チップの概略構成>
 図1は、一実施形態に係るマイクロ流体チップ1の概略構成を示す断面模式図である。図1および図1以降のその他の図には、方位関係を明確化することを目的として、相互に直交するXYZの3軸が付されている。
 マイクロ流体チップ1は、例えば、幅および深さが数μmから数百μmの微細流路に液体を供給し、液体を構成するの分子や粒子の挙動に基づいて液体の混合や反応を行なう装置である。そして、該マイクロ流体チップ1は、ブロック状の本体部10と、該本体部10内において直線状に延在する微細流路20と、該微細流路20に流す試験液の混合を促進する混合槽30と、微細流路20に対して試験液および空気の注入および排出を行う注入排出口40と、微細流路20内にその反応面が露出するように設けられる反応部50とを備える。
 本体部10は、ポリカーボネートやポリプロピレン等の樹脂を用いて構成され、例えば、幅が50mm、奥行きが50mm、高さが10mm程度のサイズを有する。また、該本体部10を構成する複数の部分が別々に切削加工や射出成形によって形成され、該複数の部分が接着剤等によって接合されることで、本体部10が完成される。
 微細流路20は、例えば、幅が1~3mm、高さが数十μm~1mm程度のサイズを有するが、これに限定されるものではない。また、流路長には特に制限はないが、流路の条件(サイズ等)によって、微細流路20における試験液の流れが層流となる場合には、本発明がより有効に働き、大きな効果をもたらす。
 混合槽30は、微細流路20の一方の端部に連通するように設けられ、該混合槽30内に注入される試験液の混合および攪拌を行う微小な混合機(マイクロミキサー)として働く。また、該混合槽30は、試験液の規定量以上の容積を有する。そして、該混合槽30は、後述するように、試験液の混合および攪拌が促進され易い構造を有する。
 注入排出口40は、微細流路20の他方の端部に連通するように設けられる。また、注入排出口40には、試験液の供給源が接続されるとともに、該試験液の注入および排出を行うポンプが接続される。なお、注入排出口40からの試験液の注入および注入排出口40からの試験液の排出を行うポンプは、混合槽30に対して接続されても良い。
 反応部50は、微細流路20のうちの混合槽30および注入排出口40がそれぞれ連通される部分の中間位置であって、該微細流路20の下面に設けられる。そして、反応部50では、該反応部50の近傍を通る試験液の内部に拡散している生化学物質が反応する。なお、上記試験液としては、例えば、生体から採取された血液を遠心分離して得られた血漿等が挙げられ、試験液に含まれる生化学物質としては、血液中に存在する各種の抗原等が挙げられる。また、反応部50を構成する反応物質としては、例えば、上記抗原に対して特異的に反応し得る抗体等が挙げられる。
 <(2)マイクロ流体チップにおける試験液の大まかな流れ>
 図2から図4は、マイクロ流体チップ1における試験液Exの大まかな流れを説明するための図である。
 試験に際しては、まず、図2で示されるように、マイクロ流体チップ1の外部から注入排出口40を介して微細流路20に試験液Exが注入されるとともに、該試験液Exが微細流路20を通って混合槽30に注入される。そして、図3で示されるように、試験液Exが混合槽30に一旦貯留された状態となる。次に、図4で示されるように、混合槽30に貯留されている試験液Exが、微細流路20を通り、注入排出口40からマイクロ流体チップ1の外部へ排出される。
 このようなマイクロ流体チップ1に対する試験液Exの注入から排出に至る期間において、試験液Exが反応部50において反応する。具体的には、試験液Exが、注入排出口40から混合槽30に移動する際、および混合槽30から注入排出口40に移動する際のそれぞれにおいて、試験液Exが反応部50において反応する。
 ここで、微細流路20における試験液Exの流れが層流となる場合には、試験液Exのうちの反応部50近傍における生化学物質の濃度が、反応部50との反応によって薄まる。このため、試験液Exが注入排出口40から混合槽30に移動する際に、試験液Exは、反応部50との反応によって、微細流路20の上部を流れる生化学物質の濃度が相対的に高い試験液(高濃度試験液)と、微細流路20の下部を流れる生化学物質の濃度が相対的に低い試験液(低濃度試験液)とに分かれる。
 そして、微細流路20における試験液Exの流れが層流であるため、微細流路20以外の部分で、高濃度試験液と低濃度試験液との混合および攪拌がなされなければ、微細流路20を通って注入排出口40から試験液Exが排出される際に、試験液Exと反応部50との反応が進行し難い。しかしながら、本実施形態に係るマイクロ流体チップ1では、後述するように、混合槽30が、試験液Exの混合および攪拌がなされ易い構造を有する。
 このため、混合槽30において高濃度試験液と低濃度試験液とが混合されることで生成される混合液体としての試験液Exが、混合槽30から排出される際に、微細流路20の下部の内壁面近傍に設けられる反応部50と反応する。
 なお、マイクロ流体チップ1から試験液Exが排出された後に、例えば、反応部50の固相化面の光学的特性の変化を外部から検出することで、抗原と抗体との免疫反応が測定される。この際の検出には、光学機器が使われても良いし、肉眼による目視が利用されても良い。本体部10の材質が透明な樹脂等で構成されていれば、外部からの観察は容易である。
 <(3)混合槽の構造>
 図5は、混合槽30の構造を示す断面模式図であり、図6は、混合槽30の構造を示す上面模式図である。なお、図5では、混合槽30のXZ平面に平行な断面(XZ断面)が示され、図6では、混合槽30を+Z方向から見た図が示されている。
 図5および図6で示されるように、混合槽30は、上方(+Z方向)が開放され、底部30btに液体注入口30inが設けられた槽部である。
 混合槽30の内壁によって囲まれる空間(内部空間領域)30spは、液体注入口30inの近傍を除いてZ軸に垂直な平面に平行な断面(XY断面)の形状が、略円形となるように形成される。別の観点から言えば、内部空間領域30spは、液体注入口30inの近傍を除いてZ軸に平行な軸L1を中心とした全方向について回転対称となるような形状を有する。更に換言すれば、軸L1は、液体注入口30inの近傍を除く、内部空間領域30spの各XY断面の重心位置を上下方向(Z軸の方向)に貫く直線となる。以下では、該軸L1を、混合槽30の中心を示す線(中心線)とも称する。
 なお、内部空間領域30spの複数のXY断面の重心位置が、一本の直線上に乗らない場合には、該複数のXY断面の重心位置から、近似計算によって複数のXY断面の重心位置を近似的に貫く直線が中心線L1として求められても良い。
 また、内部空間領域30spを形成する混合槽30の内壁の側面(側壁部)30swは、Z軸に略平行な壁面を構成する。
 液体注入口30inは、混合槽30の底部30btのうち、軸L1から-X方向にずれた位置に設けられる。該液体注入口30inは、微細流路20と連通される。このため、微細流路20から液体注入口30inを介して内部空間領域30spに対して試験液Exが注入される。なお、液体注入口30inと微細流路20とを繋ぐ流路は、Z軸に沿った方向に延設されるため、液体注入口30inから内部空間領域30spに注入される試験液Exの流れの方向は、+Z方向となる。また、液体注入口30inは、混合槽30に貯留される試験液Exを微細流路20に向けて排出する役割も果たす。
 底部30btは、その内部空間領域30spのXY断面が、下方(-Z方向)に行けば行くほど狭くなる部分である。具体的には、液体注入口30inに近づけば近づく程、底部30btの内部空間領域30spのXY断面が狭くなる。そして、液体注入口30inは、底部30btの中央からずれた位置に設けられる。
 なお、ここで言う底部30btの中央とは、該底部30btのうち、該底部30btをXY平面に投影した平面領域の重心点を上下方向(Z軸の方向)に貫く直線が通る部分である。また、底部30btの中央は、内部空間領域30spのうちの底部30btが形成する空間領域の複数のXY断面の重心を上下方向(Z軸の方向)に貫く近似直線が通る部分であっても良い。また、ここでは、底部30btの中央は、軸L1が通る部分と略同一となる。
 また、底部30btは、液体注入口30inと液溜部30phと傾斜部30tpとを有する。液溜部30phは、下に凸の略半円球状の空間を形成する部分である。また、傾斜部30tpは、軸L1が通る点の近傍の部分から液体注入口30inに向けて略一定の傾斜を有する。
 図6で示されるように、傾斜部30tpは、上方(+Z方向)から見た場合、液体注入口30inの部分を要とした扇型状の形状を有する面(図6の斜線部)を備えて構成される。つまり、傾斜部30tpは、液体注入口30inに向けて先細りする。また、傾斜部30tpでは、液体注入口30inを基準として、何れの方向に進んでも一定の傾斜が保たれる形態を有する。この傾斜部30tpの存在により、液体注入口30inからの試験液Exの排出が促進されるため、混合槽30内における試験液Exの残留が抑制される。そして、混合槽30に液体が残留し難くなれば、試験液Exの無駄遣いも抑制される。
 また、液体注入口30inから傾斜部30tp上の何れの方向に進んでも、液溜部30phに差し掛かる部分において、傾斜部30tpが水平面と成す角度が急激に変化する。このため、傾斜部30tpおよび液溜部30phの何れの曲面も、傾斜部30tpと液溜部30phとの境界において不連続となり、該境界付近に緩やかに突起する凸部に相当する部分が形成される。
 図7は、混合槽30の構造を別の観点から説明するための図であり、図7では、図5と同様に、混合槽30のXZ平面に平行な断面(XZ断面)が示され、液体注入口30inの中央を通り且つ上方(+Z方向)に仮想的に延伸される線(仮想線)L2が付されている。
 図7で示されるように、同じZ座標については、仮想線L2から-X方向に係る混合槽30の内壁面までの距離D1と、仮想線L2から+X方向に係る混合槽30の内壁面までの距離D2とが異なる。換言すれば、内部空間領域30spの水平方向に沿ったXY断面において、仮想線L2が通る位置から一方向(例えば、-X方向)に係る内壁までの距離D1と、仮想線L2が通る位置から一方向とは反対方向(例えば、+X方向)に係る内壁までの距離D2とが異なる。
 更に、混合槽30の内壁の傾きの変化に着目すれば、図7で示されるように、混合槽30の内壁は、液体注入口30inを基準として-X方向に向かう方が、液体注入口30inを基準として+X方向に向かう場合よりも、相対的に短いX座標の変化に応じて、垂直方向に延びる側壁部30swに至る。
 換言すれば、混合槽30の内壁が水平面(XY平面)と成す角度の変化量(内壁角度変化量)に着目すると、液体注入口30inの位置を基準とした場合には、+X方向への所定距離の移動に対する内壁角度変化量と、-X方向への所定距離の移動に対する内壁角度変化量とが異なる。
 更に換言すれば、以下で定義される第1の変化量と第2の変化量とが異なる。ここでは、第1の変化量は、混合槽30の内壁面上を底部30btから側壁部30swに至るまでの間に、液体注入口30inから第1の方向(例えば、-X方向)に所定距離進む経路において内壁面と水平面(ここでは、XY平面)とが成す角度が変化する量に相当する。また、第2の変化量は、混合槽30の内壁面上を底部30btから側壁部30swに至るまでの間に、液体注入口30inから第1の方向とは反対の第2の方向(例えば、+X方向)に所定距離進む経路において内壁面と水平面(ここでは、XY平面)とが成す角度が変化する量に相当する。
 本実施形態では、底部30btの中央から第1の方向にずれた位置に液体注入口30inが設けられるとともに、混合槽30の底部30btのうちの液体注入口30inを基準とした第2の方向に傾斜部30tpが設けられる。これにより、第1の変化量が、第2変化量よりも相対的に大きくなっている。
 <(4)混合槽において生じる試験液の対流>
 図8は、液体注入口30inから内部空間領域30spに注入される試験液Exの対流について説明するための図である。図8では、太線の矢印によって、高濃度試験液および低濃度試験液の大まかな流れが示されている。
 上述したように、液体注入口30inは、混合槽30の中心線L1からずれた位置に設けられるとともに、底部30btの中央からずれた位置に設けられる。このため、内部空間領域30spのうち、仮想線L2を基準とした-X側の空間領域が、液体注入口30inを基準とした+X側の空間領域よりも狭い。
 このような構造により、液体注入口30inの-X側の部分から注入される試験液Ex(高濃度試験液)は、内部空間領域30spのうちの-X側の空間領域に一旦は流れ込む。しかしながら、該-X側の空間領域が狭いため、該高濃度試験液は、内部空間領域30spのうちの+X側の空間領域に流れ込み易い。そして、この高濃度試験液の流れは、液体注入口30inの+X側の部分から内部空間領域30spのうちの+X側の空間領域に注入される試験液Ex(低濃度試験液)の流れに合流され易い。このため、混合槽30の構造によって、高濃度試験液と低濃度試験液とが混合および攪拌され易い試験液Exの対流が生じる。なお、このとき、内部空間領域30spにおける試験液Exの流れは乱流となり易い。
 図9は、仮に、本実施形態に係る混合槽30を基準として、液体注入口30inを混合槽30の中心線L1上に移動させることで底部30btの中央に移動させるとともに、傾斜部30tpを取り除いた比較例に係る混合槽30Pの構造を示す断面模式図である。
 図9で示されるように、比較例に係る混合槽30Pでは、液体注入口30inPが、混合槽30Pの中心線L1P上に設けられ且つ底部30btPの中央に設けられる。このため、混合槽30Pの中心線L1Pと、液体注入口30inPの中央から+Z方向に延伸される仮想線L2Pとが同一となる。したがって、混合槽30Pの内部空間領域30spPでは、各XY断面において、仮想線L2Pから混合槽30Pの任意の位置の内壁までの距離DPが略一定となっている。
 図10は、液体注入口30inPから内部空間領域30spPに注入される試験液Exの対流について説明するための図である。図10では、図8と同様に、太線の矢印によって、高濃度試験液および低濃度試験液の大まかな流れが示されている。
 上述した比較例に係る混合槽30Pの構造では、内部空間領域30spPのうち、液体注入口30inPを基準とした-X方向の空間領域と、液体注入口30inPを基準とした+X方向の空間領域とが略同一の広さを有する。
 このため、図10で示されるように、液体注入口30inPの-X側の部分から注入される試験液Ex(高濃度試験液)は、内部空間領域30spPのうちの-X側の空間領域に流れ込む。一方、液体注入口30inPの+X側の部分から注入される試験液Ex(低濃度試験液)は、内部空間領域30spPのうちの+X側の空間領域に流れ込む。したがって、図8で示された本実施形態に係る混合槽30の場合と比較して、高濃度試験液と低濃度試験液との混合および攪拌が促進されるような対流が相対的に生じ難い。
 <(5)混合槽への注入初期段階における試験液の挙動>
 本実施形態に係る混合槽30の構造によれば、混合槽30に試験液Exが注入され始めて間もない段階(注入初期段階)における試験液Exの挙動によっても、高濃度試験液と低濃度試験液との混合および攪拌が促進される。
 図11~図16は、注入初期段階における混合槽30内の試験液Exの状態を示す模式図である。図11~図16では、混合槽30の底部30bt近傍におけるXZ断面の内縁の形状が太線で描かれており、試験液Exの液面ExsのXZ断面の形状が実線で描かれている。以下、図11~図16を参照しつつ、注入初期段階における混合槽30内での試験液Exの挙動について説明する。
 注入初期段階においては、混合槽30内で試験液Exが順次に以下の挙動(I)~(VI)を示す。
 (I)図11で示されるように、試験液Exの最も先頭の部分が、微細流路20から混合槽30の液体注入口30inまで至る。なお、図11で示される状態に至るまでは、試験液Exの液面Exsは、微細流路20から液体注入口30inに至る流路の中心線(Z軸と平行な線)に対して略直交する状態が維持されながら、+Z方向に移動する。
 (II)液面Exsが、液体注入口30inと傾斜部30tpとの境界に到達すると、図12~図13で示されるように、液面Exsは、Z軸に対して略一定角度傾斜した状態となり、混合槽30の内部空間領域30sp内を徐々に進行する。
 (III)液面Exsが、傾斜部30tpと液溜部30phとの境界まで到達すると、水平面(XY平面)を基準とした傾斜部30tpの角度と液溜部30phの角度との違いに起因して、試験液Exの自重に応じて試験液Exが液溜部30ph内に進行しようとする力よりも、試験液Exの液溜部30ph内への進行を表面張力によって抑止する力の方が大きい状態となる。このとき、図14で示されるように、内部空間領域30spへ注入される試験液Exの量が増加されることで、液面Exsの形状が凸面を形成する。
 (IV)内部空間領域30spへ注入される試験液Exの量が増加して、傾斜部30tpと液溜部30phとの境界において、底部30btに対する試験液Exの接触角が所定角度を超えると、試験液Exの自重に応じて試験液Exが液溜部30ph内に進行しようとする力が、試験液Exの液溜部30ph内への進行を表面張力によって抑止する力よりも大きくなる。このとき、図15で示されるように、固相、液相、気相の3相が接する界面(3相界面)における力のバランスが崩れ、試験液Exが液溜部30ph内に勢いよく流れ込むとともに、液面Exsの形状が凹面状となる。このようにして液面Exsが凸面状から凹面状へと変化する際に、試験液Exのうちの液面Exs近傍の部分が激しく揺れる。その結果、試験液Exのうちの液面Exs近傍では乱流が生じて、試験液Exの混合と攪拌とが促進される。
 (V)更に、図16で示されるように、内部空間領域30spへ注入される試験液Exの量の増加に応じて、新たな3相界面の位置を基点として、液面Exsの形状が凸面を形成する。
 (VI)その後、挙動(IV)と同様な挙動が生じて、試験液Exの混合と攪拌とが促進される。そして、このような挙動(V)と挙動(IV)と同様な挙動が順次に行われる。
 このようにして、挙動(V)と挙動(IV)と同様な挙動が、適宜交互に繰り返されることで、挙動(IV)と同様な挙動が生じる度に液面Exsが激しく揺れ、試験液Exの混合と攪拌とが促進される。
 以上のように、本実施形態に係るマイクロ流体チップ1によれば、同時期に高濃度試験液および低濃度試験液が混合槽30の注入される際に、該混合槽30において高濃度試験液と低濃度試験液とが混合され易い流れが生じる。このため、簡易な構成で2種類以上の液体の混合が効率良く行われる。
 また、底部30btに設けられた傾斜部30tpと液溜部30phとの境界に形成される凸部を試験液が越える際に、2種類以上の液体が混合され易くなるような乱れた流れが生じ易くなる。
 そして、混合槽30において効率良く2種類以上の液体が混合されるため、混合液体としての試験液Exと、反応部50との反応が迅速化される。
 なお、混合槽30において試験液Exの液面Exsが、表面張力に起因して上記挙動(I)~(VI)を呈するためには、混合槽30の内壁の表面に対する試験液Exの濡れ性が低いことが好ましい。つまり、混合槽30の内壁の表面に対して、表面張力に起因する試験液Exの接触角が大きくなり得る状況の方が好ましい。このような条件が満たされるためには、例えば、混合槽30の内壁の表面が、撥水性を有するように加工されれば良く、該加工は、フッ素等を用いた各種のコーティング等によって実現される。
 このような構成により、混合槽30の底部30btにおいて、重力に起因して試験液Exが横向きに進行しようとする力と、表面張力に起因して試験液Exの横向きの進行が抑止される力とが、平衡状態にある場合と、平衡状態が崩れる場合とが顕著且つ順次に生じ易くなる。そして、このような平衡状態と非平衡状態とが繰り返されることで、2種類以上の液体が混合され易い乱れた流れが生じ易くなる。
 また、混合槽30に貯留される試験液Exが、混合槽30の底部30btに設けられる液体注入口30inから排出される。このため、簡易な構成で混合槽30における試験液Exの残留が抑制され、その結果、試験液Exの無駄使いが抑制される。
 <(6)変形例>
 なお、本発明は上述の実施の形態に限定されるものではなく、本発明の要旨を逸脱しない範囲において種々の変更、改良等が可能である。
  <(6-1)第1変形例>
 上記一実施形態では、混合槽30の底部30btに、液体注入口30inに向けて先細りする傾斜部30tpが設けられることで、傾斜部30tpと液溜部30phとの境界に凸部が形成されていたが、これに限られない。例えば、混合槽の底部において、傾斜部が設けられることなく、液体注入口の片側に曲面状の多数の凹みが多段的に設けられることで、多数の凸部が形成されても良い。すなわち、混合槽の底部に少なくとも1つの凸部が設けられれば良い。以下、混合槽の底部に多数の凸部が形成される具体例を示して説明する。
   <(6-1-1)混合槽の構造>
 図17は、底部30btAに多数の尖鋭部30prが設けられた混合槽30Aの構造を示す断面模式図である。なお、図17では、混合槽30のXZ平面に平行な断面(XZ断面)が示されている。
 図17で示されるように、混合槽30Aは、上方(+Z方向)が開放され、底部30btAに液体注入口30inAが設けられた槽部である。
 混合槽30Aの内壁によって囲まれる空間(内部空間領域)30spAは、底部30btAによって囲まれる空間領域を除いて、Z軸に平行な軸L1Aを中心とした全方向に対して回転対称となるような形状を有するとともに、Z軸に垂直な平面に平行な断面(XY断面)の形状が、略円形となるように形成される。
 ここで、軸L1Aは、内部空間領域30spAのうちの底部30btAによって囲まれる空間領域を除いた空間領域の各XY断面の重心位置を上下方向(Z軸の方向)に貫く直線であり、混合槽30の中心線に相当する。なお、内部空間領域30spAのうちの底部30btAによって囲まれていない空間領域の複数のXY断面の重心位置が、一本の直線上に乗らない場合には、該複数のXY断面の重心位置から、近似計算によって複数のXY断面の重心位置を近似的に貫く直線が中心線L1Aとして求められても良い。
 また、内部空間領域30spのうちの底部30btAによって囲まれていない空間領域を形成する混合槽30Aの内壁の側面(側壁部)30swAは、Z軸に略平行な壁面を構成する。
 液体注入口30inAは、混合槽30Aの底部30btAのうち、中心線L1Aから-X方向にずれた位置に設けられる。該液体注入口30inAは、微細流路20と連通され、微細流路20から液体注入口30inAを介して内部空間領域30spAに対して+Z方向に試験液Exが注入される。また、液体注入口30inAは、混合槽30Aに貯留される試験液Exを微細流路20に向けて排出する役割も果たす。
 底部30btAは、その内部空間領域30spAのXY断面が、下方(-Z方向)に行けば行くほど狭くなる部分である。具体的には、液体注入口30inAに近づけば近づく程、底部30btAの内部空間領域30spAのXY断面が狭くなる。そして、液体注入口30inAは、底部30btAの中央からずれた位置に設けられる。なお、ここで言う底部30btAの中央とは、該底部30btAのうち、該底部30btAをXY平面に投影した平面領域の重心点を上下方向(Z軸の方向)に貫く直線が通る部分である。
 また、底部30btAは、液体注入口30inAと多段部30stとを有するとともに、図17で示されるように、多段部30stは、4つの尖鋭部30prを有する。
 そして、液体注入口30inAと1段目の尖鋭部30prとの間に曲面状に凹んだ凹み部が形成される。また、1段目の尖鋭部30prと2段目の尖鋭部30prとの間、2段目の尖鋭部30prと3段目の尖鋭部30prとの間、および3段目の尖鋭部30prと4段目の尖鋭部30prとの間に、それぞれ曲面状に凹んだ凹み部が形成される。そして、1~4段目の尖鋭部30prの順に、配置される位置のZ座標が大きくなる。
 また、底部30btAの内壁面上を液体注入口30inAから尖鋭部30prに向けて進むと、尖鋭部30prにおいて、水平面に対して成す角度が急激に変化するように構成される。このため、多段部30stを構成する何れの曲面も、尖鋭部30prにおいて不連続となり、該尖鋭部30pr付近に、緩やかに突起する凸部に相当する部分が形成される。
 図18は、混合槽30Aの構造を別の観点から説明するための図であり、図18では、図17と同様に、混合槽30AのXZ平面に平行な断面(XZ断面)が示され、液体注入口30inAの中央を通り且つ上方(+Z方向)に仮想的に延伸される線(仮想線)L2Aが付されている。
 図18で示されるように、上記一実施形態に係る混合槽30と同様に、本変形例に係る混合槽30Aについても以下のような構造を有する。
 1段目の尖鋭部30prよりも上方では、同じZ座標においては、仮想線L2Aから-X方向に係る混合槽30Aの内壁までの距離D1Aと、該仮想線L2Aから+X方向に係る混合槽30Aの内壁までの距離D2Aとが異なる。換言すれば、内部空間領域30spAの水平方向に沿ったXY断面において、仮想線L2Aが通る位置から一方向(ここでは、-X方向)に係る内壁までの距離D1Aと、仮想線L2Aが通る位置から一方向とは反対方向(ここでは、+X方向)に係る内壁までの距離D2Aとが異なる傾向にある。具体的には、距離D2Aの方が、距離D1Aよりも大きくなる傾向にある。
   <(6-1-2)混合槽において生じる試験液の対流>
 上述したように、上記一実施形態に係る液体注入口30inと同様に、本変形例に係る液体注入口30inAは、混合槽30Aの中心線L1Aからずれた位置に設けられるとともに、底部30btAの中央からずれた位置に設けられる。このため、内部空間領域30spAのうち、仮想線L2Aを基準とした-X側の空間領域が、液体注入口30inAを基準とした+X側の空間領域よりも狭い。
 このような構造により、上記一実施形態に係る混合槽30と同様に、液体注入口30inAの-X側の部分から注入される試験液Ex(高濃度試験液)は、内部空間領域30spAのうちの-X側の空間領域に一旦は流れ込むものの、該-X側の空間領域が狭いため、該高濃度試験液は、内部空間領域30spAのうちの+X側の空間領域に流れ込み易い。そして、この高濃度試験液の流れは、液体注入口30inAの+X側の部分から内部空間領域30spAのうちの+X側の空間領域に注入される試験液Ex(低濃度試験液)の流れに合流され易い。このため、混合槽30Aの構造によって、高濃度試験液と低濃度試験液とが混合および攪拌され易い試験液Exの対流が生じる。なお、このとき、内部空間領域30spAにおける試験液Exの流れは乱流となり易い。
   <(6-1-3)混合槽への注入初期段階における試験液の挙動>
 混合槽30Aの構造によれば、混合槽30Aに試験液Exが注入され始めて間もない段階(注入初期段階)における試験液Exの挙動においても、高濃度試験液と低濃度試験液との混合および攪拌が促進される。
 図19~図28は、注入初期段階における混合槽30A内での試験液Exの状態を示す模式図である。図19~図28では、混合槽30Aの底部30btA近傍のXZ断面の内縁の形状が太線で描かれており、試験液Exの液面ExsAのXZ断面が実線で描かれている。以下、図19~図28を参照しつつ、注入初期段階における混合槽30A内での試験液Exの挙動について説明する。
 注入初期段階においては、混合槽30A内で試験液Exが順次に以下の挙動(A)~(E)を示す。
 (A)図19で示されるように、試験液Exの最も先頭の部分が、微細流路20から混合槽30Aの液体注入口30inAまで至る。そして、試験液Exの液面ExsAが1段目の尖鋭部30prに到達するまでは、図20で示されるように、該液面ExsAは、液体注入口30inAの中央から+Z方向に仮想的に延伸する仮想線L2Aに対して略直交する状態が維持されながら、+Z方向に移動する。すなわち、液体注入口30inAは、仮想線L2Aを中心とした全方向に対して回転対称であるような形状を有する。
 (B)液面ExsAが、1段目の尖鋭部30prに到達すると、試験液Exの自重に応じて試験液Exが尖鋭部30prを超えようとする力よりも、1段目の尖鋭部30prを試験液Exが超えようとする方向とは逆方向に表面張力によって生じる抑止力の方が大きい状態となる。このとき、混合槽30Aへの試験液Exの注入量の増加に拘わらず、固相、液相、気相の3相が接する界面(3相界面)は、1段目の尖鋭部30prの位置で暫くとどまる。その一方で、図21で示されるように、内部空間領域30spAのうちの-X側の3相界面は、重力方向とは反対である上方に移動する。このとき、液面ExsAの形状が凸面を形成する。
 (C)内部空間領域30spAへ注入される試験液Exの量が増加して、尖鋭部30prにおいて、底部30btAに対する試験液Exの接触角が所定角度を超えると、試験液Exの自重に応じて試験液Exが尖鋭部30prを超えようとする力が、表面張力に起因する抑止力よりも大きくなる。このとき、図22で示されるように、3相界面の力のバランスが崩れ、試験液Exが尖鋭部30prを超えるとともに、液面ExsAの形状が凹面状となる。このような液面ExsAが凸面状から凹面状へと変化する際に、試験液Exのうちの液面ExsA近傍の部分が激しく揺れる。その結果、試験液Exのうちの液面ExsA近傍では乱流が生じて、試験液Exの混合と攪拌とが促進される。
 (D)次に、液面ExsAが、2段目の尖鋭部30prに到達すると、試験液Exの自重に応じて試験液Exが尖鋭部30prを超えようとする力よりも、2段目の尖鋭部30prを試験液Exが超えようとする方向とは逆方向に表面張力によって生じる抑止力の方が大きい状態となる。このとき、混合槽30Aへの試験液Exの注入量の増加に拘わらず、3相界面は、2段目の尖鋭部30prの位置で暫くとどまる。その一方で、図23で示されるように、内部空間領域30spAのうちの-X側の3相界面は、重力方向とは反対である上方に移動する。このとき、液面ExsAの形状が凸面を形成する。
 (E)その後、図24で示されるように、挙動(C)と同様な挙動が生じて、液面ExsAが2段目の尖鋭部30prを超える際に乱流が生じて、試験液Exの混合と攪拌とが促進される。そして、図25~図28で示されるように、上記挙動(D)および挙動(C)と同様な挙動が、交互に繰り返されることで、液面ExsAが尖鋭部30prを超える度に、液面ExsAが激しく揺れ、試験液Exの混合と攪拌とが促進される。
 以上のような第1変形例に係る混合槽30Aが採用されても、上記一実施形態に係るマイクロ流体チップ1と同様に、簡易な構成で2種類以上の液体の混合が効率良く行われる。
  <(6-2)第2変形例>
 上記一実施形態では、内部空間領域30spが、液体注入口30inの近傍を除いてZ軸に平行な中心線L1を中心とした全方向について回転対称となるような形状を有していたが、これに限られない。例えば、内部空間領域30spがX軸またはY軸に沿った方向に縮小または拡大されても良い。つまり、液体注入口30inの近傍を除く内部空間領域30spのXY断面は、円形ではなく、種々の形状であっても良い。
 図29は、上記一実施形態に係る混合槽30がX軸に沿った方向に縮小された混合槽30Bの構造を示す模式図である。図29で示されるように、混合槽30Bは、内部空間領域30spBを形成する。また、混合槽30Bの底部30btBは、液体注入口30inBと傾斜部30tpBと液溜部30phBを有する。そして、内部空間領域30spBが、底部30btBによって囲まれる空間領域を除いて、Z軸に平行な軸L1Bを中心とした楕円柱状の形状を有する。
 また、図30は、上記一実施形態に係る混合槽30がY軸に沿った方向に縮小された混合槽30Cの構造を示す模式図である。図30で示されるように、混合槽30Cは、内部空間領域30spCを形成する。また、混合槽30Cの底部30btCは、液体注入口30inCと傾斜部30tpCと液溜部30phCを有する。そして、内部空間領域30spCが、底部30btCによって囲まれる空間領域を除いて、Z軸に平行な軸L1Cを中心とした楕円柱状の形状を有する。
  <(6-3)第3変形例>
 上記一実施形態では、注入排出口40から1種類の試験液Exが微細流路20に注入され、微細流路20の反応部50における反応によって高濃度試験液と低濃度試験液の2種類の試験液が生じたが、これに限られない。例えば、微細流路20の上流に異なる2種類の液体(A液およびB液)がそれぞれ導入される導入部が設けられても良い。以下、具体例を示して説明する。
 図31は、第3変形例に係るマイクロ流体チップ1Dの概略構成を示す模式図である。図31では、マイクロ流体チップ1Dを上方から見た際の各部の大まかな配置が示されている。
 図31で示されるように、マイクロ流体チップ1Dは、A液導入部InA、B液導入部InB、A液供給路21A、B液供給路21B、微細流路22、混合槽30、反応槽部50D、第1ポンプ接続部P1、および第2ポンプ接続部P2を備える。
 A液導入部InAは、A液供給路21Aを介して、微細流路22に連通するように設けられる。また、A液導入部InAには、A液の供給源が接続される。このため、A液導入部InAにおいて導入されるA液が、A液供給路21Aを介して、微細流路22に対して供給される。
 B液導入部InBは、B液供給路21Bを介して、微細流路22に連通するように設けられる。また、B液導入部InBには、B液の供給源が接続される。このため、B液導入部InBにおいて導入されるB液が、B液供給路21Bを介して、微細流路22に対して供給される。
 なお、ここでは、A液供給路21Aが微細流路22に対して接続される部分と、B液供給路21Bが微細流路22に対して接続される部分とが、近接されるように配置される。
 微細流路22は、上記一実施形態に係る微細流路20に対応する部分であり、該微細流路22の一端部が、混合槽30に対して所定の流路を介して連通する。
 混合槽30は、上記一実施形態に係る混合槽30と同様な部分である。
 反応槽部50Dは、上記一実施形態に係る反応部50に対応する反応部が設けられた容器であり、微細流路22の他端部に対して連通する。
 第1ポンプ接続部P1は、混合槽30と連通するとともに、混合槽30への液体の送液を行うためのポンプ(送液ポンプ)が接続される。
 第2ポンプ接続部P2は、反応槽部50Dと連通するとともに、反応槽部50Dへの液体の送液を行うためのポンプ(送液ポンプ)が接続される。
 図32~図34は、マイクロ流体チップ1Dを用いた検査時における液体の流れについて説明するための図である。本変形例に係るマイクロ流体チップ1Dでは、以下の工程(a)~(c)が順に実行されることで、簡易な構成で液体の反応およびその反応結果の検出が可能となる。
 (a)第1ポンプ接続部P1に接続される送液ポンプによって吸引動作が行われることで、図32で示されるように、A液LAおよびB液LBが、A液導入部InAおよびB液導入部InBからそれぞれ導入されるとともに、A液供給路21AおよびB液供給路21Bをそれぞれ介して、微細流路22に供給される。このとき、反応槽部50Dと第2ポンプ接続部P2とを連通する経路に設けられる第1バルブPm1が閉じられた状態(閉状態)とされる。
 (b)第1ポンプ接続部P1に接続される送液ポンプの吸引動作が維持されることで、図33で示されるように、微細流路22から混合槽30に対してA液LAおよびB液LBが注入される。このとき、混合槽30内では、A液LAとB液LBとが混合され、混合液LABが生成される。
 (c)A液供給路21Aに設けられる第2バルブPm2が閉状態に設定されるとともに、B液供給路21Bに設けられる第3バルブPm3が閉状態に設定される。そして、第1バルブPm1が閉状態から開放された状態(開状態)に設定されるとともに、第2ポンプ接続部P2に接続される送液ポンプによって吸引動作が行われる。このとき、図34で示されるように、微細流路22を介して、混合槽30から反応槽部50Dに対して、混合液LABが導入される。これにより、反応槽部50Dでは、混合液LABとの反応が生じ、その反応結果の検出が行われる。
 反応槽部50Dにおける反応は、上記一実施形態に係る反応部50における反応と同様に生化学物質が反応するようなものであっても良いし、その他の如何なる反応であっても良い。また、反応結果の検出方法についても、特段の制約は無く、電気的な特性や光学的な特性等の如何なる特性が検出されても良い。
 なお、A液LAおよびB液LBをマイクロ流体チップ1Dに導入するとともに、反応槽部50Dにおいて混合液LABを反応させる際に、該マイクロ流体チップ1Dは、専用の装置に搭載される。このため、該専用の装置に、反応結果を検出するための各種構成が含まれていても良い。
 また、該専用の装置からマイクロ流体チップ1Dが取り外されて、該マイクロ流体チップ1Dが、別の分析用の装置に搭載されることで、反応結果の検出が行われても良い。また、マイクロ流体チップ1Dの混合槽部50Dが目視されることで、人間によって反応結果が検出されても良い。
 更に、光学的な特性の検出を補助するためのレンズ、導波路、およびプリズム等といった各種光学部材が、マイクロ流体チップ1Dに設けられていても良い。
  <(6-4)第4変形例>
 上記第3変形例では、A液およびB液が混合槽30に一度注入されることでA液およびB液の混合が行われたが、これに限られない。例えば、マイクロ流体チップに2以上の混合槽30が設けられても良い。以下、具体例を示して説明する。
 図35は、第4変形例に係るマイクロ流体チップ1Eの概略構成を示す模式図である。図35では、マイクロ流体チップ1Eを上方から見た各部の大まかな配置が示されている。図35で示されるように、第4変形例に係るマイクロ流体チップ1Eは、上記第3変形例に係るマイクロ流体チップ1Dと比較して、反応槽部50Dが混合槽30に置換されるとともに、微細流路22の下面に反応部50が設けられたものとなっている。その他の構成については、同様であるため、同じ符号を付して説明を適宜省略する。
 なお、本変形例では、図35の右方の混合槽30を第1の混合槽30と称し、左方の混合槽30を第2の混合槽30と称する。
 図36~図38は、マイクロ流体チップ1Eを用いた検査時における液体の流れについて説明するための図である。本変形例に係るマイクロ流体チップ1Eでは、以下の工程(A)~(F)が順に実行されることで、簡易な構成で液体の反応およびその反応結果の検出が可能となる。
 (A)第1ポンプ接続部P1に接続される送液ポンプによって吸引動作が行われることで、図36で示されるように、A液LAおよびB液LBが、A液導入部InAおよびB液導入部InBからそれぞれ導入されるとともに、A液供給路21AおよびB液供給路21Bをそれぞれ介して、微細流路22に供給される。このとき、第2の混合槽30と第2ポンプ接続部P2とを連通する経路に設けられる第1バルブPm1が閉状態とされる。
 (B)第1ポンプ接続部P1に接続される送液ポンプの吸引動作が維持されることで、図37で示されるように、微細流路22から第1の混合槽30に対してA液LAおよびB液LBが注入される。このとき、第1の混合槽30内では、A液LAとB液LBとが混合され、混合液LABが生成される。
 (C)A液供給路21Aに設けられる第2バルブPm2が閉状態に設定されるとともに、B液供給路21Bに設けられる第3バルブPm3が閉状態に設定される。そして、第1バルブPm1が閉状態から開状態に設定されるとともに、第2ポンプ接続部P2に接続される送液ポンプによって吸引動作が行われる。このとき、図38で示されるように、混合液LABが微細流路22を通過するとともに、第1の混合槽30から第2の混合槽30に対して、混合液LABが移動する。そして、微細流路22を混合液LABが通過する際に、該混合液LABが反応部50Eと反応し、該反応によって、混合液LABにおいて該反応に係る所定成分の濃度分布が生じる。
 (D)所定成分の濃度分布が生じた混合液LABが第2の混合槽30に注入されることで、該混合液LABの混合および攪拌がなされて、所定成分の濃度の均一化が図られる。
 (E)第2バルブPm2および第3バルブPm3が閉状態に設定されたままで、第1ポンプ接続部P1に接続される送液ポンプによって吸引動作が行われることで、混合液LABが微細流路22を通過するとともに、第2の混合槽30から第1の混合槽30に対して、混合液LABが移動する。このとき、微細流路22を混合液LABが通過する際に、前回の反応時に十分に反応しきれなかった混合液LABが反応部50Eと再度反応を生じる。そして、該反応によって、混合液LABにおいて該反応に係る所定成分の濃度分布が生じる。
 (F)所定成分の濃度分布が生じた混合液LABが第1の混合槽30に注入されることで、該混合液LABの混合および攪拌がなされて、所定成分の濃度の均一化が図られる。
 このような工程(A)~(F)により、反応部50Eでは、混合液LABとの反応が十分に生じ、その反応結果の検出が行われる。なお、更に、工程(C)~(F)が複数回繰り返されることで、反応部50Eにおいて混合液LABとの反応が十分に行われても良い。
  <(6-5)その他の変形例>
 ◎上記一実施形態では、微細流路20から混合槽30へと試験液Exが+Z方向に注入されたが、これに限られない。微細流路20と混合槽30とを繋ぐ流路(連結流路)が、Z軸に対して若干傾斜されていても良い。但し、傾斜部30tp上に試験液Exが流れ易くなるように連結流路が傾けられると、表面張力を利用した液面Exsの揺れの発生量の低下を招く。このため、連結流路は、垂直方向(+Z方向)に沿って延在するかまたは傾斜部30tpとは反対方向に傾斜されることが好ましい。
 別の観点から言えば、底部30btのうちの液体注入口30inの近傍では、液体注入口30inから内部空間領域30spへ試験液Exが注入される方向(注入方向)が、水平方向(ここでは、+X方向)よりも、垂直方向(ここでは、+Z方向)に近い方が好ましい。
 ◎また、上記一実施形態では、混合槽30の内壁面が主に曲面によって構成されたが、これに限られず、例えば、混合槽の内壁面が、主に平面の組合せによって構成されても良い。但し、試験液Exの残留を抑制する観点から言えば、例えば、混合槽の底部を構成する凹み部が平面の組合せによって構成されるよりも、該凹み部が曲面によって構成される方が好ましい。
 ◎また、上記一実施形態では、混合槽30のうちの底部30btを除く上方の部分が、軸L1を中心とした回転対称となる形状を有していたが、これに限られない。例えば、混合槽30のうちの底部30btを除く上方の部分が、蛇行する等、種々の形状を有する態様も考えられる。
 ◎また、上記一実施形態では、混合槽30の容積と、該混合槽30に注入される液体の体積との関係については特に言及されなかった。この点については、混合槽30の構造を活かした液体の混合が十分行われつつ、マイクロ流体チップ1の大型化を招かない観点から言えば、混合槽30の容積は、該混合槽30に注入される液体の体積の1~1.5倍程度であるような例が考えられる。
 ◎また、上記第3および第4変形例では、混合槽30で混合される液体が、A液およびB液の2種類の液体であったが、これに限られず、2種類以上の液体であれば良い。
 ◎なお、上記一実施形態ならびに各種変形例をそれぞれ構成する全部または一部の構成を、適宜、矛盾しない範囲で組み合わせ可能であることは言うまでもない。

  1.  第1および第2液体が流される微細流路と、
     前記微細流路に連通される液体注入口が底部に設けられる混合槽と、
    を備え、
     前記液体注入口が、
     前記底部のうちの該底部の中央からずれた位置に設けられることを特徴とするマイクロミキサー。
  2.  第1および第2液体が流される微細流路と、
     前記微細流路と連通される液体注入口が底部に設けられる混合槽と、
    を備え、
     前記液体注入口が、
     前記混合槽の中心線からずれた位置に設けられることを特徴とするマイクロミキサー。
  3.  第1および第2液体が流される微細流路と、
     前記微細流路と連通される液体注入口が底部に設けられる混合槽と、
    を備え、
     前記混合槽の内壁によって囲まれる内部空間領域の水平方向に沿った断面において、前記液体注入口の中央から上方に仮想的に延伸される仮想線が通る位置から一方向に係る前記内壁までの第1の距離と、前記仮想線が通る位置から前記一方向とは反対方向に係る前記内壁までの第2の距離とが、異なることを特徴とするマイクロミキサー。
  4.  請求項1から請求項3の何れか1つの請求項に記載のマイクロミキサーであって、
     前記混合槽の底部に少なくとも1つの凸部が設けられることを特徴とするマイクロミキサー。
  5.  請求項1から請求項4の何れか1つの請求項に記載のマイクロミキサーであって、
     前記混合槽の内壁面上を前記液体注入口から第1方向に所定距離進む経路において該内壁面と水平面とが成す角度の第1変化量と、前記混合槽の内壁面上を前記液体注入口から前記第1方向とは反対の第2方向に前記所定距離進む経路において該内壁面と前記水平面とが成す角度の第2変化量とが異なることを特徴とするマイクロミキサー。
  6.  請求項5に記載のマイクロミキサーであって、
     前記第1変化量が、
     前記第2変化量よりも相対的に大きく、
     前記混合槽の底部のうちの前記液体注入口を基準とした前記第2方向に、前記液体注入口に向けて先細りする傾斜部が設けられることを特徴とするマイクロミキサー。
  7.  請求項1から請求項6の何れか1つの請求項に記載のマイクロミキサーであって、
     前記混合槽の内壁の表面が、
     撥水性を有することを特徴とするマイクロミキサー。
  8.  請求項1から請求項7の何れか1つの請求項に記載のマイクロミキサーであって、
     前記液体注入口が、
     前記混合槽に貯留される液体を前記微細流路に向けて排出することを特徴とするマイクロミキサー。
  9.  請求項1から請求項8の何れか1つの請求項に記載のマイクロミキサーであって、
     前記第1液体を前記微細流路に対して供給する第1供給路と、
     前記第2液体を前記微細流路に対して供給する第2供給路と、
    を更に備えることを特徴とするマイクロミキサー。
  10.  請求項1から請求項9の何れか1つの請求項に記載のマイクロミキサーと、
     前記混合槽において前記第1および第2液体が混合されることで生成される混合液体が前記混合槽から排出される流路の内壁面近傍に設けられ、前記混合液体に含まれる物質との反応を行う反応物質が固定される反応部と、
    を備えることを特徴とするマイクロ流体チップ。
