Abstract
Die vorliegende Erfindung schafft ein Verfahren zum Verbinden eines ersten Bauteils (102) mit einem zweiten Bauteil (104) mittels elektromagnetischen Pulsschweißens im Kraftfahrzeugbereich, wobei sich die beim Verschweißen des ersten und zweiten Bauteils (102, 104) gebildete Schweißstelle im Wesentlichen flächig in einer Ebene senkrecht zu einer Fügerichtung (112) erstreckt, entlang derer das erste und/oder zweite Bauteil (102, 104) bewegt werden, um diese miteinander zu verschweißen.
