現在、上述のような携帯電話として各種の提案がある(特許文献1)。
一方、発振装置の機械品質係数が高い場合には、次のような問題点が生じる。発振装置の機械品質係数が高い場合、製造段階において発振装置の共振周波数が少しばらつくと、発振装置が再生できる音圧レベルは著しく変化してしまう。このため、安定した特性を有する発振装置を製造するためには、製造条件の調整や検査などにおいて多大な工数が必要となる。従って、発振装置の機械品質係数が高い場合、発振装置の生産性が低下する可能性がある。

このように、本実施形態では、一つの発振装置100に、互いに著しく異なる機械品質係数Qを有する振動子110および振動子120が設けられる。すなわち、本実施形態に係る発振装置100は、図4に示すように、音圧レベルの周波数特性が互いに異なる振動子110と振動子120を備える。
より具体的には、機械品質係数Qが高い振動子110では、図4に示すように、音圧レベルの周波数特性において、急峻なピークが見られる。一方で、機械品質係数Qが低い振動子120では、図4に示すように、音圧レベルの周波数特性は、振動子110と比較して平坦である。
振動子110と振動子120の音響が合成されると、その音響の音圧レベル周波数特性は平均的なものとなる。すなわち、発振装置100の機械品質係数Qも、見かけ上、振動子110と振動子120との間の値を取ることとなる。
このようにして、本実施形態に係る発振装置100の機械品質係数Qを、用途によって調整することが可能となる。
本実施形態によれば、発振装置100は、平面視で重なり、かつ機械品質係数Qが互いに異なる振動子110および振動子120を有する。また、振動子110を構成する振動部材112には、振動子110と振動子120に挟まれた空間170を、空間170の外部へつなぐ開口部150が設けられている。
このため、機械品質係数Qが互いに異なる二つの振動子から出力される音声を、互いに合成することができる。これにより、発振装置100の機械品質係数Qを、見かけ上調整することが可能となる。従って、用途に応じて機械品質係数Qを調整することができる発振装置を提供することができる。
発振装置の機械品質係数Qを調整することにより、発振装置の生産性の低下を抑制しつつ、高効率な音声再生を実現することができる。
第1変形例に係る発振装置100では、振動部材122に開口部150が形成されている。第1変形例において、振動部材122は、図6に示すように、圧電素子121を拘束する台座部132と、台座部132を樹脂部材123に連結する梁部130と、からなる。
梁部130は、台座部132の外周の一部を、樹脂部材123と連結する。これにより、台座部132を樹脂部材123に保持させる。また、台座部132と樹脂部材123との間の領域のうち梁部130が設けられていない部分が、開口部150となる。
一方、第1変形例では、図5に示すように、振動部材112には開口部150は設けられない。
従って、上記形態と同様、発振装置の機械品質係数Qを調整することができる。
第2変形例に係る発振装置100では、樹脂部材123に開口部150が形成されている。第2変形例において、樹脂部材123は、図7に示すように、振動部材122を保持する台座部136と、台座部136を支持部材140に連結する梁部134と、からなる。
梁部134は、台座部136の外周の一部を、支持部材140と連結する。これにより、台座部136を支持部材140に支持させる。また、台座部136と支持部材140との間の領域のうち梁部134が設けられていない部分が、開口部150となる。
一方、第2変形例では、第1変形例と同様、振動部材112には開口部150は設けられない。
第2変形例によっても、第1変形例と同様、発振装置の機械品質係数Qを調整することができる。
これによっても、上記形態と同様に、発振装置100から、振動子110から出力される超音波により復調される音声と振動子120から出力される超音波により復調される音声が合成された音響を再生することができる。
Claims (9)
- 第1圧電素子と、
前記第1圧電素子の一面を拘束し、かつ金属材料からなる第1振動部材と、
前記第1振動部材の外周部を保持する樹脂部材と、
第2圧電素子と、
前記第2圧電素子の一面を拘束し、平面視で前記第1振動部材および前記樹脂部材と重なっており、かつ金属材料からなる第2振動部材と、
前記樹脂部材および前記第2振動部材を支持する支持部材と、
を備え、
前記第1振動部材、前記樹脂部材および前記第2振動部材の少なくとも一つには、前記第1振動部材および前記樹脂部材と前記第2振動部材との間に位置する空間を、前記空間の外部へとつなぐ少なくとも一つの開口部が設けられている発振装置。 - 前記第1圧電素子および前記第1振動部材からなる第1振動子と、前記第2圧電素子、前記第2振動部材および前記樹脂部材からなる第2振動子は、パラメトリックスピーカ用の変調波を出力する請求項1に記載の発振装置。
- 前記第1振動部材は、前記開口部を有する請求項1または2に記載の発振装置。
- 前記第1振動部材は、前記第1圧電素子を拘束する第1台座部と、前記第1台座部を前記支持部材に連結する第1梁部と、からなる請求項3に記載の発振装置。
- 前記第2振動部材は、前記開口部を有する請求項1ないし4の何れか一項に記載の発振装置。
- 前記第2振動部材は、前記第2圧電素子を拘束する第2台座部と、前記第2台座部を前記樹脂部材に連結する第2梁部と、からなる請求項5に記載の発振装置。
- 前記樹脂部材は、前記開口部を有する請求項1ないし4の何れか一項に記載の発振装置。
- 前記樹脂部材は、前記第2振動部材を保持する第3台座部と、前記第3台座部を前記支持部材に連結する第3梁部と、からなる請求項7に記載の発振装置。
- 請求項1ないし8の何れか一項に記載の発振装置と、
前記発振装置に音波を出力させる発振駆動部と、
を備える電子機器。
