  • the device (A) may further comprise at least one security interface (12), such as a credit card reader (12a), which may receive a credit card and is capable of reading either a magnetic tape or a smart card; a RFID (Radio Frequency Identification) card reader (12b) or a biometric sensor (12c).
  • the security interface (12) may preferably be employed while conducting a security identification operation within any transaction operation made by the device (A).
  • the device (A) may also comprise at least one power unit (13), which energizes the device (A).
  • the power unit (13) may be connected to at least one battery (14), which may be of rechargeable type, and may direct the energy stored in the battery (14) to the components of the device (A).
  • the power unit (13) may comprise at least one regulator to be used either to regulate the energy transmitted to any component or to charge the battery (14).
  • the power unit (14) may be comprised either as a separate unit of the device (A) or may be comprised by any component of the device (A).
  • the power unit (14) may also comprise an external power input (15), through which the device (A) can be connected to an external energy source and the energy of the external source may be used to power the device (A) and charge the battery (14).
  • the device (A) may also comprise at least one security unit (not shown in figures), which detects removal of safe (6) of the device (A). If removal of safe (6) by a user is not desired, several actions may be taken when removal is detected by said security unit.
  • the device (A) may preferably be deactivated, not allowing any operations using the device (A).
  • the device (A) may communicate with a banking system and send information comprising the information of removal of safe (6). If the device (A) is deactivated because of removal of safe (6), it may preferably be reactivated by a bank, which owns and delivers the device (A).

  • the safe (6) of the device (A) is checked (19) for availability of required cash or required space for placement of cash. If the safe (6) is not available, the transaction is cancelled (20b) due to lack of safe conditions. If the safe (6) is also available, the transaction is allowed (20a) and appropriate account activity is performed by banking system in accordance with a notification of termination that is sent by device (A) to the banking system (21 ).
  • the safe (6) of the device (A) may be either removed by the user or operated by the bank.
  • a safe (6) is to be removed due to lack of cash or overflow of cash present in the safe (6), either the user removes the safes (6) and delivers to the bank or the user delivers the device (A) directly to the bank.
  • the cash in the safe (6) is regulated and the regulation is reflected to the user account. If desired, the user may pay in extra deposit to be used within the device (A).
  • the device (A) may be equipped with the security unit for the control of safe (6).
  • the device (A) becomes inactive and can only be reactivated by the bank.
  • the device (A) preferably communicates with the bank system and send the information of removal of safe (6) hence further actions such as blockage of user account is taken.
  • At least one extra safe may be delivered to the user by the bank and user may interchange the safes when the safe (6) is not available for transaction.

Abstract

La présente invention concerne un dispositif bancaire portable (A) comportant au moins une fente (1) pour espèces ; au moins une unité (11) d'identification ; au moins un coffre-fort (6) ; au moins une unité (10) de commande et au moins une unité (8) de communication. A l'aide du dispositif (A) de la présente invention, un utilisateur dispose de la souplesse d'effectuer une transaction en espèces instantanément et sans avoir besoin d'accéder à un dispositif bancaire fixe ou à une agence bancaire, de l'argent étant présent auprès de l'utilisateur. L'invention concerne également des procédés d'utilisation d'un tel dispositif (A) avec un système bancaire et / ou dans le cadre d'une transaction bancaire.
