Abstract

본 발명에 따른 입체영상 표시 장치는, 제 1 방향 영상 및 제 2 방향 영상을 각각 디스플레이할 수 있는 제 1 타입 픽셀과 제 2 타입 픽셀이 수평방향으로 교대로 배치된 디스플레이 모듈; 및 상기 디스플레이 모듈과 소정 거리만큼 이격되어 위치하며, 시청자의 좌안과 우안에 상기 제 1 타입 픽셀 및 상기 제 2 타입 픽셀이 수평 방향에서 픽셀 단위로 선택적으로 보이도록 배치된 사선방향 패턴의 베리어의 구동을 제어하는 베리어 모듈을 포함하며, 상기 제 1 타입 픽셀 및 상기 제 2 타입 픽셀은 적색(R), 녹색(G), 청색(B) 광을 각각 디스플레이하는 서브픽셀들을 포함하며, 상기 사선 방향 패턴은 순차적으로 배열된 상기 제 1 타입 픽셀과 상기 제 2 타입 픽셀을 행렬 형태로 볼 때, 수직 방향으로 소정 개수의 행마다 서브픽셀 단위로 좌측 또는 우측 중 어느 한 방향으로 지속적으로 이동한 위치에 베리어가 배치된 패턴인 것을 특징으로 한다.
