IPTV作为有别于传统类型的广播电视、 数字电视的一种新型媒体收视 方式, 在为广大的收视群体提供传统的电视媒体传播的同时, 也提供了收 视终端用户利用 IP技术和收视系统头端交互的能力, 因而相比于传统电视 收视率调查, IPTV的收视调查具有面向更广泛的应用, 以及多样化的用户 类型的数据收集能力。但是一般的 IPTV收视调查方法均收集几乎所有的用 户收视信息, 之后从中筛选出相关的信息; 因此除了收视率调查所需要的 数据外, 将会产生很多无用信息。 另外, IPTV的终端类型很多, 收视率调 查系统可能部署在终端和系统设备上, 因此信息可能从终端和网络侧获取, 而终端的收视调查需要终端部署收视率调查客户端软件, 所以当终端的能 力不足以支持运行收视率调查软件, 或者用户自身或者相关的法律法规不 允许部署该软件的时候, 该用户的收视信息将会丟失。 而另一方面, 尤其 针对 IPTV直播业务, 当利用现有的 IPTV收视调查系统收集数据时, 由于 网络侧收集的消息数据中通常都不含有细节用户标识, 而含有细节的用户 数据需要从业务管理系统中导出, 所以将花费大量的系统时间和资源, 并 且收视调查的实时性不高。 发明内容

总体而言, 收视调查系统的客户端需要从用户进行直播频道切换的用 户请求消息中提取出用户标示数据, 该标示数据并不是系统分配的全网唯 一的用户标示符, 而是代表请求源头的数据包标示数据, 并可以作为未来 收视调查系统查找细节用户数据的关键字。 当收视调查系统的服务端获取 到用户收视信息时, 将根据关键字到用户数据库中进行检索, 获取相关用 户的关联用户信息。 之后, 收视调查系统将得到的关联用户信息和用户收 视信息关联起来以形成用户收视调查记录, 并且和其他的用户收视调查记 录进行综合统计。 具体而言, 可以进行如下操作:
( 1 ) 网络接入设备接收到用户的直播频道切换请求消息。
( 2 )收视调查客户端监视到上述直播频道切换请求后, 从该请求中解 析出用户收视信息。
( 3 ) 收视调查客户端将解析出的用户收视信息上报给收视调查服务 端。
( 4 )收视调查服务端从 IPTV系统数据库中获取用户收视信息所关联 的用户信息或者应用信息等关联用户信息。
( 5 )收视调查服务端汇总接收到的用户收视信息和关联用户信息并进 行统计。
其中, 上述步骤(1 ) 中:
关于接收: 网络接入设备可以是能够运行组播控制功能的网络设备。 网络接入设备接收的信息可以是实时接收信息, 也可以非实时接收信 息, 非实时接收信息可以是对与用户请求发起时间存在延迟的消息进行处 理, 也可以是对于緩存在网络接入设备上的请求队列中的消息进行处理。
关于直播频道切换请求消息:在 IPTV中指的就是用户加入或者退出某 个直播的组播组的请求信令。
上述步骤( 2 ) 中:
收视调查客户端获取到直播频道切换请求消息后, 至少从该请求消息 中读取: 请求类型、 请求的组播地址、 请求源的地址信息, 并将所读取的 内容作为用户收视信息。
上述步骤( 3 ) 中:
上报信息时, 是将步骤(2 ) 中获取的信息通过 IPTV 网络或者 IPTV 收视调查功能模块内部的 API, 将信息传输至收视调查服务端。 用户上报信息的方式包括: 实时用户主动上报, 或实时用户根据请求 上报; 非实时用户主动上报, 或非实时用户根据请求上报信息。
上述步骤( 4 ) 中:
IPTV 系统数据库至少包括: IPTV用户数据库、 IPTV应用数据库、 或者是收视调查系统通过访问 IPTV系统的用户数据库所建立的同步 IPTV 用户数据库或者应用数据库。
收视调查服务端接收到步骤(3 ) 中所上报的数据后, 从中读取代表用 户身份或者业务标示的关键信息,之后根据该关键信息从 IPTV系统数据库 中查找对应的用户数据记录信息和 /或业务数据记录信息等关联用户信息。
上述关键信息至少包括: 请求源的地址信息, 或者组播组标示信息。 上述步骤( 5 ) 中:
收视调查服务端读取步骤( 3 ) 中所获取的用户收视信息和步骤 ( 4 ) 中所获取的关联用户信息, 并将这两类信息格式化后通过关联形成一条收 视调查记录文件。
其中, 记录文件的格式包括: 基于文本的数据格式, 基于数据库记录 格式的数据格式。
上述的统计是指根据汇总后所形成的多个用户的记录文件或者之前的 用户的记录文件, 结合收视率调查策略进行数学统计或者评估统计。
在实际应用中, 上述数据收集方法可以通过 IPTV系统和 IPTV收视调 查系统完成。 支持该方法需要用到的 IPTV系统功能实体包括 IPTV用户终 端, 网络接入设备, IPTV系统数据库; 收视调查系统则包括 IPTV收视调 查客户端, 收视调查服务端。
其中, 直播频道切换请求消息将从 IPTV用户终端发往网络接入设备。 部署在网络接入设备上的收视调查客户端负责监视网络接入设备上收 到的直播频道切换请求消息, 并解析出其中的用户和收视相关的关键信息, 据此形成用户收视记录。
收视调查客户端将所形成的收视记录发往收视调查服务端, 由收视调 查服务端负责解析其中的关键信息。
收视调查服务端负责和 IPTV系统数据库进行查询, 如: 利用解析获得 的关键信息在 IPTV系统数据库中查找对应的关联用户信息, 并由 IPTV系 统数据库反馈查询结果。
收视调查服务端负责解析收到的查询结果, 并将其中有可能包含的用 户信息和应用信息相关联, 获得一条包含用户个人信息, 频道描述细节信 息的完整收视调查记录, 并将该收视调查记录和以前获取的记录进行综合 统计。
下面将结合附图和实施例对本发明进行详细描述。
参见图 1 , 图 1为本发明一实施例的直播收视数据收集系统图, 该系统 通过部署在 IPTV接入网端的组播控制设备 (比如 DSLAM或者路由器)上 的收视调查系统的客户端,来监视 IPTV用户终端发往组播控制设备的频道 切换命令(即加入组播组或者离开组播组的命令) 以及其中附带的请求源 端的 IP地址或者用户标示, 之后形成一条收视信息记录并发往收视调查服 务端。收视调查服务端通过和 IPTV系统数据库的交互获得用户记录和应用 记录后, 进行收视调查的统计处理。
其中, IPTV用户终端负责发送用户直播操作信息。
网络接入设备负责接收用户直播操作信息并做业务逻辑处理。
收视调查客户端负责监视用户直播操作信息并负责解析其中的数据, 并可以将解析所得内容以收视记录的形式发往收视调查服务端。
收视调查服务端负责接收收视调查客户端发送过来的收视记录, 并根 据其中信息向 IPTV系统数据库查询相关的用户数据或者应用数据,并进行 综合统计。 IPTV系统数据库负责查询所需的用户数据或者应用数据, 并将查询结 果反馈给收视调查服务端。
下面将结合附图 2对 IPTV直播业务收视调查数据收集的方法进行详细 描述。
参见图 2, 图 2为本发明一实施例的直播收视数据收集流程图。 图 2以 IPTV用户的直播收视请求消息传递过程中适用的收视调查数据收集过程为 例, 所示流程包括如下步骤:
步骤 201: IPTV用户终端(如机顶盒等 )感知到用户选择 /切换直播频 道的需求, 利用 IGMP协议产生出组播控制信令。 IPTV用户终端可以通过 遥控器按键事件, 或者根据用户进行 的 EPG选择来感知用户选择 /切换直 播频道的动作, 并根据用户加入或者离开频道的动作产生相应的 IGMP join/leave信息, 再将该信息发送到网络接入设备(通常为组播控制点)。
步骤 202:收视调查客户端监视到网络接入设备接收到一条 IGMP消息, 因而启动解析功能。
步骤 203: 收视调查客户端应用解析功能对所述 IGMP消息进行解析, 根据 IGMP协议中的类型和组地址两个字段中提取出两类数据。 比如, 类 型数据 =2 , 组地址 =232.23.187.38, 表示某个用户请求加入上述组播地址, 即用户选择某个直播频道的动作。
另夕卜,收视调查客户端还可以对承载 IGMP消息的 IP包进行解析,如: 从 IP包中获取发送所述 IGMP消息的源 IP地址、 或者是 MAC地址等用于 表示 IGMP 消息发送源的标示。 另外, 也可以从系统中获取信令接收的时 间参数。
接着, 收视调查客户端将获得的上述信息整合成一条用户收视记录。 该记录的格式可以是 XML文件中的字段, 或者是直接嵌入 SOAP/HTTP中 的基于 XML格式的字段, 或者是 HTTP中的字符串类型的字段。 该记录的 格式可以被收视调查服务端识别和解析。
步骤 204:收视调查客户端将得到的上述收视调查记录发送至收视调查 服务端。 发送时可以根据收视调查的记录格式而选择对应的传输协议。 基 于 XML文件的传输方式可以是通过 TFTP的方式传输; 基于 SOAP/HTTP 的 XML格式可以直接使用 HTTP POST方式传输其中 XML格式内容; 或 者可以直接使用 HTTP POST附带普通字符串类型的方式进行传输。
步骤 205: 收视调查服务端接收到用户收视记录时, 将解析出其中的收 视信息内容, 该收视信息内容与步骤 203 中所获取的内容相同, 包括发送 源标示 (MAC或者 IP )、 IGMP类型、 IGMP组播地址等。
并且, 收视调查服务端将获取的发送源标示和 IGMP组播地址作为关 键字向 IPTV系统数据库进行查询。 其中, 发送源标示可以向用户数据库查 询 , IGMP组播地址可以向应用数据库查询。
步骤 206: IPTV系统数据库根据所查询的关键字返回对应的记录, 收 视调查服务端则根据调查需要从返回的记录中选取构成关联用户信息所需 的字段值。
步骤 207: 收视调查服务端根据 IPTV系统数据库所返回的记录, 对涉 及用户的用户收视信息和关联用户信息进行汇总, 形成一条完整的用户收 视记录用于后续统计。 完整的记录包括了用户的用户名、 用户唯一标识 USER ID、对应于组播组的节目名称、 节目标示、 以及从原始收视记录中获 取的能够表示用户收视开始或者结束时间的信令发送时间。
需要说明的是, 图 2所表述的实施例当中针对 IGMP包分析指的是一 次有效的 IGMP请求。如果一个用户快速切换多个频道将会产生大量 IGMP 请求, 但是其实没有表明用户真正观看了这些频道, 因此需要处理的是一 个合理间隔期间的 IGMP请求消息。
并且, IPTV系统数据库并不仅仅包含 IPTV用户数据库和应用数据库, 其他任何可以提供本发明检索关键字的数据库和可读性存储文件都可以涵 括在 IPTV系统数据库所表达的范围之内。
再有, 步骤 203 中所提及的数据发送方式可以是通过 IPTV 网络或者 IPTV收视调查功能模块内部的 API将信息传输至收视调查服务端。 而传输 的方式包括: 实时用户主动上报, 实时用户根据请求上报; 非实时用户主 动上报, 非实时用户根据请求上报。
另外,如果收视调查服务端在进行收视调查的前期就已经和 IPTV系统 数据库同步建立了一个私有的收视调查信息数据库。 那么, 步骤 205 至步 骤 206中, 收视调查服务端则可以不与 IPTV系统数据库交互, 而是直接查 询私有的收视调查信息数据库。
图 1、 图 2所示实例可以表示如图 3所示的流程。 参见图 3 , 图 3为本 发明另一实施例的直播收视数据收集流程图, 该流程包括以下步骤:
步骤 310: 网络接入设备接收到用户的直播频道切换请求。
步骤 320: 收视调查客户端监视到直播频道切换请求后, 从中解析出用 户收视信息。
步骤 330:收视调查客户端将解析出的用户收视信息上报给收视调查服 务端。
步骤 340: 收视调查服务端从 IPTV系统数据库中获取用户收视信息所 关联的用户信息。
步骤 350: 收视调查服务端汇总接收到的用户收视信息和关联用户信 息, 并进行统计。
结合前述的系统图和流程图, 可以总体将本发明的直播收视数据收集 思路表示如图 4所示。 参见图 4, 图 4为本发明的直播收视数据收集流程简 图, 该流程包括以下步骤:
步骤 410: 从直播频道切换请求中解析出用户收视信息。 步骤 420: 获取用户收视信息所关联的用户信息, 并汇总接收到的用户 收视信息和关联用户信息。
需要说明的是, 结合以上技术描述, 可以知道图 1 所示系统中的功能 实体所能实现的操作, 如: 收视调查客户端能够从收到的直播频道切换请 求中解析出用户收视信息; 收视调查服务端则能够获取所述收视调查客户 端中的用户收视信息所关联的用户信息, 并汇总接收到的用户收视信息和 关联用户信息。
并且, 在获取关联用户信息时, 收视调查服务端能够从用户收视信息 中读取代表用户身份或者业务标示的关键信息, 之后根据该关键信息从 IPTV 系统数据库中查找对应的用户数据记录信息和 /或业务数据记录信息 作为关联用户信息; 在进行汇总操作时, 收视调查服务端能够将用户收视 信息和关联用户信息格式化后, 通过关联形成收视调查记录文件。
并且, 收视调查服务端进一步可以在进行汇总之后, 根据汇总后所形 成的记录文件, 结合收视率调查策略进行数学统计或者评估统计。 收视调 查客户端则能够向收视调查服务端主动上报解析出的用户收视信息; 并且, 上报的方式包括: 实时用户主动上报, 或实时用户根据请求上报; 非实时 用户主动上报, 或非实时用户根据请求上报。
图 1 所示功能实体所能实现的操作在前述技术描述中已详细阐述, 在 此不再赘述。
综上所述可见, 无论是方法还是系统, 本发明在 IPTV收视受众调查中 的直播收视数据收集技术,能够从直播频道切换请求中解析出与 IPTV收视 受众调查相关的用户收视信息, 获取用户收视信息所关联的用户信息, 并 汇总接收到的用户收视信息和关联用户信息, 以便根据汇总的信息进行后 续的 IPTV收视受众调查。由于解析出的用户收视信息以及后续获取的关联 用户信息都只是与 IPTV收视受众调查相关, 因此能够准确收集 IPTV直播 收视数据, 避免系统时间和资源的过多占用。
以上所述, 仅为本发明的较佳实施例而已, 并非用于限定本发明的保 护范围, 凡在本发明的精神和原则之内所作的任何修改、 等同替换和改进 等, 均应包含在本发明的保护范围之内。

Claims

权利要求书
1、一种 IPTV收视受众调查中的直播收视数据收集方法, 其特征在于, 该方法包括:
从直播频道切换请求中解析出用户收视信息; 获取所述用户收视信息 所关联的用户信息, 并汇总接收到的用户收视信息和所述关联的用户信息。
2、 根据权利要求 1所述的方法, 其特征在于,
所述直播频道切换请求为:在 IPTV中用户加入或者退出直播的组播组 的请求信令;
所述用户收视信息包括以下至少之一: 请求类型、 请求的组播地址、 请求源的地址信息。
3、 根据权利要求 2所述的方法, 其特征在于,
获取所述关联的用户信息的过程包括:
从所述用户收视信息中读取代表用户身份或者业务标示的关键信息, 根据该关键信息从 IPTV 系统数据库中查找对应的用户数据记录信息和 /或 业务数据记录信息, 将查找到的内容作为关联的用户信息;
所述汇总的过程包括:
将所述用户收视信息和关联用户信息格式化后, 通过关联形成收视调 查记录文件。
4、 根据权利要求 1至 3任一项所述的方法, 其特征在于, 进行所述汇 总之后, 该方法进一步包括:
根据汇总后所形成的记录文件, 结合收视率调查策略进行数学统计或 者评估统计。
5、 根据权利要求 1至 3任一项所述的方法, 其特征在于, 解析出所述 用户收视信息之后, 获取所述关联用户信息之前, 该方法进一步包括: 向用于获取所述关联的用户信息的功能实体上报解析出的所述用户收 视信息;
所述上报的方式包括以下至少之一:
实时用户主动上报, 或实时用户根据请求上报; 非实时用户主动上才艮, 或非实时用户根据请求上报。
6、一种 IPTV收视受众调查中的直播收视数据收集系统, 其特征在于, 该系统包括收视调查客户端、 收视调查服务端; 其中,
所述收视调查客户端, 用于从收到的直播频道切换请求中解析出用户 收视信息;
所述收视调查服务端, 用于获取所述收视调查客户端获取的所述用户 收视信息所关联的用户信息, 并汇总接收到的用户收视信息和所述关联的 用户信息。
7、 根据权利要求 6所述的系统, 其特征在于,
所述直播频道切换请求为:在 IPTV中用户加入或者退出直播的组播组 的请求信令;
所述用户收视信息包括以下至少之一: 请求类型、 请求的组播地址、 请求源的地址信息。
8、 根据权利要求 7所述的系统, 其特征在于,
在获取所述关联的用户信息时, 所述收视调查服务端用于:
从所述用户收视信息中读取代表用户身份或者业务标示的关键信息, 根据该关键信息从 IPTV 系统数据库中查找对应的用户数据记录信息和 /或 业务数据记录信息, 将查找到的内容作为关联的用户信息;
在进行所述汇总操作时, 所述收视调查服务端用于:
将所述用户收视信息和关联用户信息格式化后, 通过关联形成收视调 查记录文件。
9、 根据权利要求 6至 8任一项所述的系统, 其特征在于, 所述收视调 查服务端, 进一步用于:
在进行所述汇总之后, 根据汇总后所形成的记录文件, 结合收视率调 查策略进行数学统计或者评估统计。
10、 根据权利要求 6至 8任一项所述的系统, 其特征在于, 所述收视 调查客户端, 进一步用于:
向所述收视调查服务端上报解析出的所述用户收视信息;
所述上报的方式包括以下至少之一:
实时用户主动上报, 或实时用户根据请求上报; 非实时用户主动上才艮, 或非实时用户根据请求上报。
