Abstract
Die Erfindung betrifft ein Verfahren zum Betreiben eines Kraftstoffeinspritzsystems (130), insbesondere für eine Brennkraftmaschine (1) eines Kraftfahrzeugs, bei dem ein einen Kraftstoffdruck (prail) in einem Druckspeicher (13) charakterisierendes Ausgangssignal (Sprail) eines dem Druckspeicher (13) zugeordneten Drucksensors (14) ausgewertet wird. Erfindungsgemäß wird dann auf einen unerwünscht hohen Kraftstoffdruck in dem Druckspeicher (13) und/oder einen Fehler in dem Kraftstoffeinspritzsystem (130) geschlossen, wenn das Ausgangssignal (Sprail) für mindestens einen vorgebbaren Beobachtungszeitraum (Tb) einen maximal möglichen Wert (Smax) annimmt.
