That is, the end edge 26a of the first sheet portion 26 and the outer end edge 11b of the front outer sheet 11 are separated from each other in the longitudinal direction Y without contacting each other. Moreover, the edge 27a of the 1st sheet
- seat 12 are spaced apart in the vertical direction Y, without mutually contacting. These separation distances are about 1 to 10 mm, and in this embodiment, about 8 mm.

- the length dimension of the inner sheet 13 in the longitudinal direction Y is about 600 to 650 mm, and in this embodiment is about 620 mm.
- Regions 51 and 52 are formed.
- the length dimension in the vertical direction Y of the low-rigidity regions 51 and 52 is the same as the separation dimension between the outer edges 11b and 12b and the edges 26a and 27a. That is, the length dimension in the vertical direction Y of the low rigidity regions 51 and 52 is about 1 to 10 mm, and in this embodiment, about 8 mm (see paragraph 0028).

- the inner high rigidity regions 53 and 54 are formed.
- the length dimension in the longitudinal direction Y of the inner high rigidity regions 53 and 54 is about 10 to 20 mm, and in this embodiment is about 15 mm.

- Overlapping outer high rigidity regions 55 and 56 are formed.
- the length dimension in the longitudinal direction Y of the outer high rigidity regions 55 and 56 is about 10 to 20 mm, and in this embodiment, about 10 mm.
- the number of laminated sheets of the low rigidity regions 51 and 52 is the other adjacent inner and outer high rigidity regions 53 to 52. 56, and the rigidity is reduced accordingly.
- Such low-rigidity areas 51 and 52 and inner and outer high-rigidity areas 53 to 56 respectively extend in the lateral direction X in the front and rear waist areas 2 and 3, and form a rigidity change area 50 in these areas.
- the front and rear waist elastic bodies 18a and 19a are positioned at least on the outside in the longitudinal direction Y of the low-rigidity region 51.
- the front and rear waist elastic bodies 18a and 19a that are positioned on the outermost side in the vertical direction Y are It arrange
- the longitudinal distance Y between the front and rear waist elastic bodies 18a and 19a and the front and rear opening elastic bodies 28 and 29 is about 20 to 35 mm, and in this embodiment, about 33 mm.
- the rigidity change region 50 is defined by the waist elastic bodies 18a and 19a and the front and rear opening elastic bodies 28 and 29.
- the length dimension in the longitudinal direction Y of the rigidity change region 50 is about 20 to 35 mm, and in this embodiment is about 33 mm.
- the pitch in the longitudinal direction Y of the front and rear waist elastic bodies 18a and 19a is about 5 to 15 mm, which is smaller than the length dimension in the longitudinal direction Y of the rigidity change region 50.
- the pitch in the longitudinal direction Y of the front and rear opening elastic bodies 28 and 29 is about 5 to 10 mm, which is smaller than the length dimension of the rigidity change region 50 in the longitudinal direction Y.
- the “pitch” is a distance from the center of one elastic body adjacent to the center of the other elastic body (hereinafter the same).
- the rigidity change region 50 is formed in the front and rear waist regions 2 and 3, when the front and rear waist regions 2 and 3 are shifted to the crotch region 4 side when the diaper 1 is worn, etc.
- the front and rear waist regions 2 and 3 are easy to bend along the low-rigidity regions 51 and 52, and particularly when the diaper 1 is worn, the low-rigidity regions 51 and 52 are bent so as to protrude outward. That is, the front and rear waist regions 2 and 3 bend along the virtual line R located in the low rigidity regions 51 and 52 (see FIG. 1).
- high-rigidity areas 53 to 56 are formed and defined by the front and rear waist elastic bodies 18a and 19a and the front and rear opening elastic bodies 28 and 29. Accordingly, in the high rigidity regions 53 to 56 close to the elastic body, wrinkles extending in the vertical direction Y are formed by contraction of each elastic body, and in this region, a folding line extending in the horizontal direction X is difficult to be formed. It is easy to bend only along the areas 51 and 52.
- the diaper 1 When the front and rear waist regions are bent along the low-rigidity regions 51 and 52, a gap is formed between the wearer's body and the diaper 1 is partially separated from the wearer's skin. The air permeability in the diaper 1 is improved, and the wearer's skin can be prevented from being irritated or damp. Moreover, when a wearer tries to pull up the diaper 1, a wearer's finger
- the entire diaper 1 When the rigidity change area 50 protrudes to the outside of the diaper 1, the entire diaper 1 can be pulled up or down by picking up the protruding portion. Moreover, since an elastic body is not attached to the rigidity change region 50 and the tightening force on the wearer can be partially reduced, the diaper 1 can be easily spread in the lateral direction X. However, it is necessary to maintain the tightening force of the entire front and rear waist regions 2 and 3 to such an extent that the diaper 1 is in close contact with the wearer. In this case, by adjusting the tightening force in a region other than the stiffness change region 50, it is possible to ensure adhesion to the wearer and the like.
- the length dimension in the longitudinal direction Y of the rigidity change region 50 is about 20 to 35 mm. However, if the length is smaller than 20 mm, the bent region becomes small, and sufficient air permeability cannot be obtained. Sometimes it becomes difficult to pick. Moreover, when larger than 35 mm, the area
- the length dimension in the longitudinal direction Y of the rigidity change region 50 that is, the inner and outer sides in the longitudinal direction Y than the separation dimension between the front and rear waist elastic bodies 18a and 19a and the front and rear opening elastic bodies 28 and 29 that define the rigidity change area 50. Since the longitudinal separation Y (pitch) of the front and rear waist elastic bodies 18a and 19a and the front and rear opening elastic bodies 28 and 29 is smaller in the rigidity change region 50 than in the other regions.
- the front and rear waist regions 2 and 3 can be easily bent along a line extending in the direction X.
- the length dimension in the longitudinal direction Y of the low-rigidity regions 51 and 52 is about 1 to 10 mm. However, if the length is smaller than 1 mm, the front and rear waist regions 2 and 3 are difficult to bend along this, and larger than 10 mm. If so, the strength may be insufficient and it may be torn.
- the rigidity change region 50 in the front waist region 2 is formed in a portion spaced about 32 mm from the boundary line 23 of the waist opening 5, that is, the front opening sheet 21 toward the crotch region 4.
- the front and rear outer sheets 11 and 12 of the diaper 1 are spaced apart in the longitudinal direction Y, but they may not be spaced apart and may be continuous. Further, in this embodiment, a so-called pull-on pants-type diaper in which both side edges 7 of the front and rear waist regions 2 and 3 are joined to each other is described, but a so-called open type in which both side edges are not joined in advance. It can also be applied to diapers.
