Abstract

Die Erfindung betrifft eine Schmiermittelpumpe (1), insbesondere für einen Verbrennungsmotor eines Kraftfahrzeugs, mit einem Gehäuse (3), in dem mindestens ein Paar (4) miteinander kämmender Zahnräder (5) zum Fördern von Schmiermittel angeordnet ist, wobei ein erstes der Zahnräder auf einer Antriebswelle und das zweite der Zahnräder (5) zum Einstellen eines variablen Fördervolumens auf einer axial verschiebbaren Verschiebeeinheit (6) drehbar gelagert ist, und mit einem in einer Aufnahme (15) des Gehäuses (3) axial verlagerbaren Regelkolben (16) zum hydraulischen Einstellen der Position der Verschiebeeinheit (6), wobei der Regelkolben (16) eine zentrale Längsachse (17) und Steuerkanten (18', 18"; 19', 19") umfassende Zylinderringe (18-21) zum Freigeben oder Verschließen von in die Aufnahme (15) mündenden Steuerkanälen (12,13) aufweist. Dabei ist vorgesehen, dass der Regelkolben (16) als gebautes Bauteil (31) ausgebildet ist, wobei die Zylinderringe (18-21) aus einem Reibung und/oder Verschleiß zu der Aufnahme (15) reduzierenden Material gefertigt sind, und die zentrale Längsachse (17) zumindest abschnittsweise aus einem Material gefertigt ist, dessen Wärmeausdehnungskoeffizient zumindest im Wesentlichen dem der Aufnahme (15) entspricht. Ferner betrifft die Erfindung einen Regelkolben für eine Schmiermittelpumpe.
