Abstract

This invention relates to a power-transferring mechanism which transfers the rotary power of the engine to a continuous variable transmission, sequentially through a centrifugal clutch and a pressure plate clutch to a manual transmission. Therefore, the rotary power of the engine is coordinated by the continuous variable transmission in cooperation with the manual transmission. In other words, each speed position for the manual transmission can be further continuously varied by the continuous variable transmission. Whether high or low torsion, or high or low revolving speed is necessary for the situations of the road surfaces, a maximum power output of the engine can be obtained. Moreover, since the centrifugal clutch and the pressure plate clutch are arranged separately, flexibility for arrangement and space of parts of the engine or other parts is enhanced.
