Abstract

The invention relates to a mechanical forming press, having a press gear mechanism, a sliding block of the press is mechanically connected with a driver by a gear mechanism of the press, wherein, the driver is composed of at least one electric servo motor. In order to provide the mechanical forming press with simple structure of few structure elements, the gear mechanism having the continuously variable transmission drive ratio is provided between an output shaft for the sliding block of the press and a drive shaft of the servo motor.
