Abstract

Die Erfindung betrifft eine mechanische Umformpresse mit einem Pressengetriebe, über welches ein Pressenstößel mit einem Antrieb mechanisch gekoppelt ist, wobei der Antrieb zumindest einen elektrischen Servomotor umfasst. Um eine mechanische Umformpresse der eingangs genannten Art bereit zu stellen, die einen besonders einfachen Aufbau mit einer möglichst geringen Anzahl an Bauteilen aufweist, ist erfindungsgemäß vorgesehen, dass das Pressengetriebe zwischen einer Antriebswelle des Servomotors und einer Abtriebswelle für den Pressenstößel ein stufenlos variierendes Übersetzungsverhältnis aufweist.
