Abstract

본 발명은 촉각 발생을 위한 다중 액튜에이터 구동 제어장치에 관한 것으로서, 메인 프로세서로부터 이벤트 발생 신호를 수신하는 인터페이스부, 촉각 발생을 위한 것으로서 채널별 액튜에이터 유형 정보와 액튜에이터 유형별 구동 주파수 정보를 포함하여 이펙트 발생에 필요한 이펙트 파라미터가 기록된 이펙트 파라미터 그룹들을 저장하고, 상기 이벤트 발생 신호 수신 시 저장된 이펙트 파라미터 그룹들 중 하나의 이펙트 파라미터 그룹을 선택하여 출력하는 파라미터 저장부, 상기 파라미터 저장부로부터 수신되는 이펙트 파라미터 그룹의 이펙트 파라미터를 분석하는 이펙트 파라미터 분석부, 상기 이펙트 파라미터 분석부에서 분석된 채널별 액튜에이터 유형 및 구동 주파수 정보에 따라 각 채널별로 그에 상응하는 구동 파형을 생성하는 구동 파형 생성부 및 상기 구동 파형에 따라 각 채널별 액튜에이터를 구동하는 액튜에이터 구동부를 포함하는 것을 특징으로 한다. 상기와 같은 본 발명에 따르면, 단일 액추에이터를 구동할 때 고정된 주파수에 제어 파라미터로 구동 시간, 구동 세기, 구동 방향을 사용하는데, 주파수를 고정하지 않고 제어 파라미터에 추가하여 액추에이터를 제어함으로써 새로운 촉각 구현이 가능한 효과가 있다.
