Definitions
- the present invention relates to a storage device for storing a file generated by photographing with a digital camera or a digital video camera.
- Patent Document 1 describes a digital camera that advertises by inserting an advertisement into a part of a photograph taken and displaying it on a display unit. By distributing such digital cameras free of charge or at a low price, it is possible to advertise to many people.
- Patent Document 2 discloses information related to a memory card having a wireless function (specifically, whether a memory card is attached to or detached from the information processing apparatus, a power supply state of the information processing apparatus in which the memory card is installed, or a memory card). Describes a technique for outputting the remaining amount of power of the power source to the external device via radio.
- Patent Document 1 only displays an advertisement on a photograph that has been taken and displays it on a display unit. When displayed on the screen, the displayed photo does not contain an advertisement. Further, when an image file of a photograph taken is printed on a print medium using a printer, the printed photograph is not an advertisement inserted. That is, the digital camera described in Patent Document 1 has a problem that it is not possible to show an advertisement to all the people who view the photo after taking the photo.
- a first object of the present application is to provide a storage device capable of advertising to a larger number of people using a file generated by a digital camera, a digital video camera, or the like as an advertising medium.
- the memory card described in Patent Document 2 outputs the above-described information related to the memory card to an external device via wireless communication
- an appropriate wireless setting is required for the memory card.
- the wireless setting in the memory card is performed on the PC by connecting the memory card to the PC and using a setting application dedicated to the memory card.
- a setting application is generally a dedicated product for each memory card, and a setting screen and a setting procedure differ depending on the type of the setting application. If there is no PC on which the setting application is installed, the wireless setting status (ID, password, encryption type, etc.) cannot be confirmed. For this reason, if an event occurs in which the above-mentioned information related to the memory card cannot be output to an external device, even if it is suspected that the cause is a wireless setting problem, it is possible to easily check the wireless setting status. Can not.
- a second object of the present application is to provide a storage device that allows a user to easily check the status of wireless settings regarding a storage device such as a memory card having a wireless function.
- a third object of the present application is to provide a storage device that is easy to use for classifying files (particularly still image files).

- the second release condition determination process is executed instead of the first release condition determination process in the storage device 10 according to the embodiment different from the storage device 10 in which the first release condition determination process described above is executed. It is processing.
- the second release condition determination process is a process that is called and started in S110 of the first file write process described above, similarly to the first release condition determination process described above.
- the sub flash memory 15 of the storage device 10 in which the second release condition determination process is executed has a URL for accessing a website where the predetermined determination image appearing in the description of S215 below can be viewed.
- An additional still image file, a composite data file, and a combined data file included in a part are stored (see FIG. 5 as an example of the additional still image file). Then, as a result of executing a still image corresponding process (S125, FIG. 6, FIG. 8) and a moving image corresponding process (S135, FIG. 9, FIG. 10), which will be described later, this URL becomes accessible to the user.
- This continuous release flag is flag information stored in the sub-flash memory 15 and adds an advertisement (still image correspondence processing (S125, FIG. 6, FIG. 8) and moving image correspondence processing (S135, FIG. 9, execution of FIG. 10) is a flag indicating whether or not to continuously disable.
- the continuous release flag is written with an “off” value (a value that means execution) when the storage device 10 is manufactured (or shipped), and power supply to the storage device 10 is performed. Even if there is an interruption, the value is retained.
- the continuous release flag is not on, that is, if it is off, in S210, it is determined whether or not the file written to the main flash memory 11 in S105 of the first file writing process described above is a still image file. (S210).
- a determination method a method of determining based on the extension of the file or a method of determining by reading a part of the header portion of the file into the RAM 16 can be considered, but it is not limited to these methods.
- the predetermined image for determination is, for example, a word that recalls a product, service, company, brand, etc. (specifically, product name, service name, company name, brand name, etc.), these images ( Specifically, a product image, a service mark, a corporate mark, a brand mark, or the like), or a bar code or a two-dimensional code in which some information is coded can be considered.

- the CPU 14 sets a return value indicating that the release condition is not satisfied, finishes this process (first file write process), and executes the process following S110 of the first file write process that is the caller. To do.
- the first still image handling process is a process that is called and executed in S125 of the first file writing process described above. Note that, as the storage device 10 of another embodiment, a second still image handling process described later may be executed instead of the first still picture handling process.
- the file writing to the main flash memory 11 performed in S105 of the first file writing process described above is performed in a separate file performed immediately before that. It is determined whether it is within 10 seconds from writing (S305). In other words, it is determined whether another file has been written to the storage device 10 from another device 20 within the past 10 seconds. Therefore, for example, if a plurality of still image files are continuously written from the separate device 20 to the storage device 10 at intervals of several seconds or less, this step is affirmed. Although the time of 10 seconds is used here, any time may be used as long as it can be determined that photography is continuously performed. What is necessary is just to determine suitably.
- the CPU 14 that has shifted the process to S310 copies (writes) the file written in the main flash memory 11 to the hidden folder of the main flash memory 11 with another name.
- the other name here may be any name.
- a character string such as “org” indicating the original file may be added to the head of the file name.
- the CPU 14 causes the RAM 16 to read the still image file written in the main flash memory 11 in S105 of the first file writing process described above (S315). This step may be performed at the same time as the copy of S310 described above.
- the CPU 14 analyzes the still image file read into the RAM 16 (S320). As the analysis here, for example, the following is performed.
- A It is determined whether a human face is included in a still image based on the still image file.
- B If a still image contains a person's face, the position of the person is specified.
- C If a human face is included in the still image, person feature data stored in advance in the subflash memory 15 or person feature data stored in an external database that can be connected via the wireless LAN controller 17 The person who is included in the still image is specified with reference to FIG.
- (D) Identify what objects (for example, mountains, bridges, seas, cars, trains, airplanes, ships, furniture, animals, etc.) are included in the still image based on the still image file.
- (E) The shooting location of the still image based on the still image file is specified based on the geotag included in the still image file.
- the CPU 14 selects from a plurality of composite data files stored in advance in the sub flash memory 15 based on the analysis result of S320, and causes the RAM 16 to read it (S325).
- the composite data file here is an image file or a text file for combining advertisement information with a still image based on the still image file written to the main flash memory 11.
- advertisement information for example, words (specifically, product names, service names, company names, brand names, etc.) that recall products, services, companies, brands, etc., these images (specifically, product images) , Service marks, corporate marks, brand marks, etc.), contact information (URLs, search keywords, telephone numbers, etc.), and special information for users (eg discount information, present information, discount / free coupon information) Conceivable.
- the composite data file in which the advertisement related to the furniture is displayed is stored in the sub flash memory 15. Select from multiple composite data files. If the still image shooting location is Tokyo, a composite data file in which advertisements related to Tokyo are displayed is selected from a plurality of composite data files stored in the subflash memory 15.
- the CPU 14 synthesizes the advertisement information based on the composite data file read into the RAM 16 with the still image based on the still image file read into the RAM 16 in S315 to generate a composite still image (S330).
- the position for combining the advertisement information in the still image For example, if a person's face is shown in a still image, the URL is synthesized at a position avoiding that face (or the entire person). A specific example will now be described with reference to FIGS. 7A-7C.
- FIG. 7A is a still image in which two persons are photographed, and is a still image before the advertisement information is synthesized.
- FIG. 7B shows the combined still image, but the URL that is the advertisement information is combined at a position that does not overlap two persons, that is, the lower left portion of the still image.
- FIG. 7C is another example of the combined still image, but the URL that is the advertisement information is combined at a position that does not overlap two persons, that is, the lower right portion of the still image.
- the CPU 14 writes a synthesized still image file that can represent the synthesized still image generated in S330 in the main flash memory 11 (S335).
- the file name at the time of writing is written as the file name of the file written to the main flash memory 11 in S105 of the first file writing process.
- the CPU 14 ends this process (first still image handling process), and executes a process following S125 of the first file writing process that is the caller.
- first still image handling process executes a process following S125 of the first file writing process that is the caller.
- second still image corresponding process will be described with reference to the flowchart of FIG.
- the second still image handling process is executed instead of the first still image handling process in the storage device 10 according to the embodiment different from the storage device 10 in which the first still image handling process described above is executed. It is processing.

- the CPU 14 When starting the execution of the second still image handling process, the CPU 14 first determines whether or not the value of the variable k is 10.
- the variable k is a variable (counter) stored in the sub-flash memory 15 and is used for determining whether to execute each step of S365 to S380, which will be described later, or S360. Note that a value of “0” is written in the variable k when the storage device 10 is manufactured (or shipped), and the value is retained even when power supply to the storage device 10 is interrupted.
- the CPU 14 increases the value of the variable k by 1 and stores it in the sub-flash memory 15 in S360 that proceeds when it is determined that the value of the variable k is 10. And CPU14 complete
- the additional still image file here is a still image file including advertisement information.
- advertisement information for example, words (specifically, product names, service names, company names, brand names, etc.) that recall products, services, companies, brands, etc., these images (specifically, product images) , Service marks, corporate marks, brand marks, etc.), contact information (URLs, search keywords, telephone numbers, etc.), and special information for users (eg discount information, present information, discount / free coupon information) Conceivable.
- a plurality of additional still image files are stored in the sub flash memory 15, and the object is included in the still image based on the still image file written to the main flash memory 11 in S105 of the first file writing process described above. Then, an additional still image file may be selected and read from the sub flash memory 15 to the RAM 16. For example, if furniture is included in a still image based on a still image file written to the main flash memory 11, an additional still image file in which an advertisement related to furniture is displayed is stored in the sub flash memory 15. A plurality of additional still image files may be selected and read into the RAM 16. If the still image shooting location is Tokyo, an additional still image file in which an advertisement related to Tokyo is displayed is selected from a plurality of additional still image files stored in the subflash memory 15 and the RAM 16 is selected. May be read by.
- the CPU 14 writes the additional still image file in the main flash memory 11 with the file name obtained by changing the number part in the file name acquired in S365 to a number obtained by incrementing by 1 (S375).
- the file name acquired in S365 is “DSC11633.jpg”
- the additional still image file is written in the main flash memory 11 with the file name “DSC11634.jpg”. Note that such processing is based on the premise that each still image file received from the separate device 20 includes a unique number in the file name and the numbers are in ascending order.
- the CPU 14 sets the value of the variable k to 0 and stores it in the sub flash memory 15 (S380). And CPU14 complete
- the first moving image handling process is a process that is called and started in S135 of the first file writing process described above.
- the second moving image corresponding process may be executed instead of the first moving image corresponding process.
- the moving image file written in the main flash memory 11 in S105 of the first file writing process described above is transferred to a hidden folder in the main flash memory 11 with another name.
- Copy S405
- the other name here may be any name.
- a character string such as “org” indicating the original file may be added to the head of the file name.
- the CPU 14 causes the RAM 16 to read partial data corresponding to the start 10 seconds of the moving image based on the moving image file written in the main flash memory 11 in S105 of the first file writing process described above (S410).
- the CPU 14 causes the RAM 16 to read the composite data file stored in advance in the sub flash memory 15 (S415).
- the composite data file here is an image file or a text file for combining advertisement information with a moving image based on the moving image file written to the main flash memory 11.
- advertisement information for example, words (specifically, product names, service names, company names, brand names, etc.) that recall products, services, companies, brands, etc., these images (specifically, product images) , Service marks, corporate marks, brand marks, etc.), contact information (URLs, search keywords, telephone numbers, etc.), and special information for users (eg discount information, present information, discount / free coupon information) Conceivable.
- the CPU 14 synthesizes the advertisement information based on the composite data file read into the RAM 16 with the video based on the partial data corresponding to the start 10 seconds read into the RAM 16 in S410 to generate a composite video (S420). ). Note that it is conceivable that the CPU 14 continuously synthesizes the advertisement information for 10 seconds at a position such as the lower right or lower left of the frame in the frame constituting the moving image. As a result, when the moving image file is reproduced, the advertisement information is synthesized and displayed in the first 10 seconds of the moving image.

- the second moving image corresponding process is a process executed in place of the first moving image corresponding process in the storage device 10 according to the embodiment different from the storage device 10 in which the first moving image corresponding process described above is executed. .
- the second moving image corresponding process is a process that is called and started in S135 of the first file writing process described above, as in the first moving image corresponding process described above.
- the moving image file written in the main flash memory 11 in S105 of the first file writing process described above is transferred to a hidden folder in the main flash memory 11 with another name. Copying is performed (S455).
- the other name here may be any name. For example, a character string such as “org” indicating the original file may be added to the head of the file name.
- the combined moving image file here is a moving image file for combining a moving image having advertisement information with a moving image based on the moving image file written to the main flash memory 11.
- advertisement information for example, words (specifically, product names, service names, company names, brand names, etc.) that recall products, services, companies, brands, etc., these images (specifically, product images) , Service mark, corporate mark, brand mark, etc.), video that promotes these, audio that promotes them, and video that conveys special information (for example, discount information, present information, discount / free coupon information) to users Etc. are considered.
- the CPU 14 adds the combined moving image file read into the RAM 16 in S460 to the head portion of the moving image file stored in the main flash memory 11 in S105 of the first file writing process described above (S425).
- the CPU 14 adds the data of the header part which manages the moving image information in a moving image file are corrected.
- a moving image based on the combined moving image file is first reproduced for 10 seconds (for example, see FIG. 11A), and then the original moving image is reproduced (for example, see FIG. 11B).
- wireless communication information output processing will be described using the flowchart of FIG. This wireless communication information output processing is performed, for example, when (a) the storage device 10 is inserted into the slot of the separate device 20 and power supply is started from the separate device 20, (b) a button ( Execution is started when (not shown in FIG. 1) is pressed, or (c) when a predetermined command is transmitted from the separate device 20 to the storage device 10 and the CPU 14 detects it.
- the CPU 14 When starting the execution of the wireless communication information output process, the CPU 14 first causes the RAM 16 to read the wireless information stored in the sub flash memory 15 (S505).
- the wireless information is information used when the wireless LAN controller 17 performs wireless communication. Specifically, for example, the SSID, password, encryption method, IP address acquisition method, connection destination server name, server Information such as login name to server, login password to server, etc.
- the CPU 14 generates a wireless information image listing the wireless information read into the RAM 16 (S510).
- the wireless information image for example, an image as shown in FIG. 13 can be considered. That is, a plurality of lines in which item names and setting contents related to wireless settings are set are described in the image. Note that the text may be a list of wireless information instead of the wireless information image.
- the CPU 14 stores the generated wireless information image as a wireless information still image file in the main flash memory 11 (S515), and ends this processing (wireless communication information output processing).
- the advertisement information is not synthesized (S305: Yes). Therefore, for example, when a plurality of still image files are written in the storage device 10 within a predetermined time, a synthesized still image file in which predetermined information is combined is generated and stored for the first written still image file. However, a composite still image file is not generated for the still image file written after the second. That is, the user can intentionally avoid the synthesis by controlling the writing timing of the still image file, and the storage device is easy to use.
- the CPU 14 of the storage device 10 analyzes the still image file sent from the other device 20 (S320), and includes a human face in the still image. Synthesizes the advertisement information at a position avoiding the face (or the whole person) to generate a synthesized still image (S330). For this reason, it is possible to avoid the generation of a combined still image file of a still image in which advertisement information is superimposed on a person's face, and to reduce the user's discomfort with respect to the combination of advertisement information.
- the CPU 14 of the storage device 10 analyzes the shooting location of the still image file sent from the other device 20 (S320), and the advertisement information related to the shooting location is displayed.
- a composite data file to be displayed is selected from a plurality of composite data files stored in the sub flash memory 15 (S325). Therefore, a combined still image file of a still image in which information corresponding to the shooting location of the still image file is combined is generated, and the advertising effect can be enhanced.
- the CPU 14 of the storage device 10 executes the first moving image handling process
- the CPU 14 combines predetermined advertisement information with the moving image file in the storage device 10.
- the moving image file is stored in the main flash memory 11 (S420, S425).
- the advertisement information is viewed by the user by browsing it. Touch. That is, if the storage device 10 is used, it is possible to advertise to a larger number of people as compared to the case where the advertisement information is displayed only when the moving image is displayed in the separate device 20.
- the CPU 14 of the storage device 10 executes the second moving image handling process
- the moving image including predetermined advertisement information is included in the moving image file in the storage device 10.
- the main flash memory 11 are combined and stored in the main flash memory 11 as a combined moving image file (S465).
- the combined video file is stored in the storage device 10 so that the advertisement information can be viewed by the user. Touch. That is, if the storage device 10 is used, it is possible to advertise to a larger number of people as compared to the case where the advertisement information is displayed only when the moving image is displayed in the separate device 20.
- the CPU 14 of the storage device 10 changes the original file to another file name and maintains the original state as it is.
- the data is stored in the flash memory 11 (S310, S375, S405, S455). For this reason, since the file can be acquired when the user needs the original file, the usability of the storage device 10 is good.
- the CPU 14 of the storage device 10 stores an additional still image file in the main flash memory 11 for every 10 files when a still image file is sent from another device 20 ( S355, S375). For this reason, even if the storage device 10 is separated from the separate device 20 and circulates repeatedly, the additional still image file is stored in the storage device 10 so that the advertisement information can be viewed by the user by browsing it. Touch the eyes. In other words, if the storage device 10 is used, it is possible to advertise to a larger number of people as compared with the case where the advertisement information is synthesized only when a still image is displayed in the separate device 20.
- the file name obtained by changing the number part of the number to a number obtained by incrementing by 1 is used (S365, S375). For this reason, when files stored in the storage device 10 are arranged in ascending order of file names on a PC or the like, additional still image files are arranged between original still image files. Therefore, the advertisement effect when the user browses the files in the order of the file names is enhanced.
- the CPU 14 of the storage device 10 determines that the release condition is satisfied (cancels adding an advertisement) in the first and second release condition determination processes, the advertisement is added (first and second) thereafter.
- the still image corresponding process and the first and second moving image corresponding processes) are not performed. For this reason, it is possible to deal with users who do not want to add advertisements, and to motivate the users to act so as to satisfy the release condition.
- the CPU 14 of the storage device 10 executes the first release condition determination process, if the condition that the number of times that the still image corresponding process or the moving image corresponding process is performed reaches a predetermined number of times is satisfied, the advertisement Is not added. For this reason, after satisfy
- the CPU 14 of the storage device 10 executes the second release condition determination process, if the condition that a still image file that can display a still image including a predetermined determination image is written in the main flash memory 11 is satisfied, Thereafter, no advertisement is added to the still image file. For this reason, after satisfying the conditions, the storage device 10 can be used as a storage medium to which no advertisement is added to the still image file. Therefore, more users can be encouraged to use the storage device 10 before being released, and the advertising effect can be further enhanced.
- the additional still image file in the case of executing the second release condition determination process has a part of a URL for accessing a website capable of browsing a predetermined determination image. Since the user wants to prevent the advertisement from being added, the user is highly aware of the additional still image file. For this reason, for example, a company that distributes the storage device 10 can effectively advertise on the URL destination website included in the additional still image file.
- the CPU 14 of the storage device 10 executes a wireless communication information output process to generate a wireless information image and store it as a wireless information still image file in the main flash memory 11 (S505 to S515). For this reason, the user confirms the wireless information still image file stored in the main flash memory 11 of the storage device 10 using a PC or the like that can be connected to the storage device 10, so that an external server is connected via the wireless LAN controller 17. Wireless information when communicating with can be confirmed. That is, wireless information can be confirmed using a general-purpose device without using dedicated software.
- the CPU 14 may execute the processing (S115 to S135) after the release condition determination processing at the timing when all the continuous group of plural files sent from the separate device 20 are written in the main flash memory 11. Conceivable.
- the operation of writing the file sent from the separate device 20 to the main flash memory 11 is linked to the command sent from the separate device 20, but the operation after the release condition determination process (S115 to S135). Otherwise, it may be executed at a predetermined cycle (for example, 10 seconds, 1 minute).
- a predetermined cycle for example, 10 seconds, 1 minute.
- the operation after the release condition determination process (S115 to S135) is started, it is preferable to check first whether there is a file stored in the main flash memory 11 and a file newly stored after the previous check. . Then, based on the check result, the operations after the release condition determination process (S115 to S135) may be executed on a file newly stored after the previous check.
- two memory controllers 12 are provided in the storage device 10, one of which is assigned to the process (S105) for writing the file sent from the other apparatus 20 to the main flash memory 11, and the other is the process after the release condition determination process ( It is also possible to allocate to S115 to S135).
- the memory controller 12 can process a plurality of operations in a time-division manner and simultaneously process them in a pseudo manner, the process of writing the file sent from the separate device 20 to the main flash memory 11 (S105) is completed.
- the memory controller 12 may execute in parallel processing such as writing to the main flash memory 11 that occurs in processing after the release condition determination processing (S115 to S135).
- the cancellation condition (S160, S175, S215) of the still image handling process and the cancellation condition determination process the condition of the time interval when the file is stored in the main flash memory 11 (S305), and the additional still image
- the CPU 14 operates based on the program so that the intention of the condition (S355) regarding the frequency of file addition is similarly realized.
- the advertisement information based on the combined data file is combined with the start 10 seconds of the moving image sent from the separate device 20 (S420).
- the start 10 seconds of the moving image may be the end 10 seconds, the middle (for example, the place where the scene is switched), or the like. Even such a storage device 10 has the same effects as those of the first embodiment described above.
- the composite data file, the combined moving image file, and the additional still image file are stored in the sub flash memory 15 when the storage device 10 is manufactured, shipped, sold, or the like. It does not have to be. After the storage device 10 is sold, these files may be acquired by the CPU 14 from an external server via the wireless LAN controller 17 and the antenna 18 and updated and stored in the sub flash memory 15. Such a storage device 10 can update each of the files even after the storage device 10 reaches the user's hand, so that it is possible to suppress as much as possible that an old advertisement is combined, and the advertising effect. Can be increased.
- Another apparatus 20 described above may be a digital camera.
- the storage device 10 may be detachably mounted in the housing of the digital camera, or may be embedded in a non-detachable manner. That is, the separate device 20 and the storage device 10 described above may be configured as a digital camera 21 as shown in FIG.
- the digital camera 21 includes the configuration of the storage device 10 described above, and further includes a CPU 22, a RAM 23, an operation unit 24, an image sensor 25, a shutter 26, and a lens actuator 27.
- the CPU 22 controls the lens actuator 27 based on the operation command from the operation unit 24 to focus on the object to be photographed, operates the shutter 26, and makes the image sensor 25 be exposed. Then, the image information output from the image sensor 25 is temporarily held in the RAM 23 to form a JPEG file or the like, and the formed file is transmitted to the storage device 10.
- the main flash memory 11 and the sub flash memory 15 are provided separately, but both may be realized by a single piece of hardware.
- the sub flash memory 15 may be eliminated from the storage device 10 and a partial area of the main flash memory 11 may be allocated as an area corresponding to the sub flash memory 15.
- a special access method for example, a dedicated application is used for access from another device 20 to a partial area of the main flash memory 11 corresponding to the sub flash memory 15.
- the CPU 14 or the memory controller 12 may operate so as not to permit it.
- the main flash memory 11 is an example of a first storage unit
- the sub flash memory 15 is an example of a second storage unit
- the CPU 14 is a control unit, a combined data file storage control unit, a combined moving image file storage control unit, an additional It is an example of a still image file storage control means and an information output means.
- the wireless LAN controller 17 and the antenna 18 are examples of wireless communication means, the still image handling process and the moving picture handling process are examples of data processing, and S215 of the second release condition judgment process is an example of the judgment process. .
- the CPU 14 of the storage device 30 When the CPU 14 of the storage device 30 receives the signal that the file is sent from the separate device 20, the CPU 14 instructs the memory controller 12 to write the file sent from the separate device 20 to the main flash memory 11 (S555). ). Upon receiving this command, the memory controller 12 sequentially writes the file data sent from the other device 20 via the connection terminal 19 into the empty area of the main flash memory 11, and data indicating the end of the file is sent from the other device 20. When it is sent, it returns to the CPU 14 that the file writing has been completed.
- the CPU 14 determines whether or not the file written to the main flash memory 11 in S555 is a still image file (S560).
- a determination method a method of determining based on the extension of the file or a method of determining by reading a part of the header portion of the file into the RAM 16 can be considered, but it is not limited to these methods.
- the CPU 14 analyzes the still image file read into the RAM 16 (S570).
- the analysis means, for example, the following.
- A Determine whether a still image based on a still image file contains a human face, and if the still image contains a human face, specify the position and size of the person in the still image To do. Then, by referring to the person feature data stored in advance in the sub flash memory 35 or the person feature data stored in the external database that can be connected via the wireless LAN controller 17, who is included in the still image? It is specified whether it is.

- the still image file is moved to the folder corresponding to the central person obtained from If an object is specified, the still image is moved to a folder that is divided for each object and that corresponds to the object included in the still image. If the shooting location is specified, the still image is moved to a folder corresponding to the shooting location of the still image.
- the shooting date / time is a folder divided by date / time (for example, April 1, 13:00, 14:00, 15:00, etc). And corresponds to the still image shooting date / time. Move a still image to a folder. Of course, it may be every day instead of every day. Needless to say, if these exemplified folders do not exist in the main flash memory 11, a new folder is created.
- the CPU 14 creates a storage file list in the main flash memory 11 or updates the storage file list stored in the main flash memory 11 based on the movement result of the still image file in S575 (S580).
- the storage file list here is a list in which the file names of the still image files stored in the main flash memory 11 and their thumbnail images are grouped, and these are lists divided into storage folders. is there. If the storage file list has not yet been created and does not exist in the main flash memory 11, a new storage file list is created in the main flash memory 11, and the storage file list already exists in the main flash memory 11. If so, the storage file list is updated.
- the storage file list shown in FIG. 15 is a list in which file names (DSC1001.JPG, etc.) and thumbnail images are paired and grouped in units of folders (2011/04/01, etc.).
- the CPU 14 ends the present process (second file writing process) after completing S580.
- Second file writing process the file upload process will be described with reference to the flowchart of FIG.
- This file upload process is performed in a state where the connection terminal 19 of the storage device 30 is connected to the connection terminal provided in the slot of the separate device 20 (a state where power is supplied from the separate device 20 to the storage device 30).
- the execution is repeated at predetermined time intervals.
- the predetermined time interval mentioned here may be a time of about 1 minute or 10 minutes, for example.
- the CPU 14 When the CPU 14 starts executing the file upload process, it first determines whether at least one still image file that has not been transmitted to the server is stored in the main flash memory 11 (S605).
- the server is a server that can communicate via the wireless LAN controller 17 and the antenna 18 and can receive and store a still image file. The determination as to whether the data has not been transmitted is made based on, for example, the archive attribute of each still image file, or based on a management file separately provided in the main flash memory 11.
- the CPU 14 generates a thumbnail image to be displayed based on the still image file transmitted in S610 (S615). Subsequently, the CPU 14 adds the thumbnail image generated in S615 and the URL where the still image file transmitted in S610 can be downloaded to the upload file list stored in the main flash memory 11 (S620). If there is no upload file list in the main flash memory 11, a new upload file list is created and written therein.
- the upload file list shown in FIG. 17 includes a plurality of file names (DSC1001.JPG, etc.), thumbnail images, and URLs that can be downloaded from the server, grouped in units of folders (2011/04/01, etc.). They are arranged. Note that the size of the set of information (the storage capacity consumed on the main flash memory 11) is much smaller than the size of the corresponding still image file.
- the CPU 14 deletes the still image file transmitted in S610 from the main flash memory 11 (S625), and returns the process to S605 described above.
- the CPU 14 of the storage device 30 described above classifies the still image file sent from the separate device 20 based on a predetermined feature of the still image file (S575). Specifically, the still image file is moved to a corresponding folder based on the presence or absence of a specific object included in the still image, the shooting date and time of the still image file, or the shooting location of the still image file. For this reason, if there is no problem with classification (file movement result) from the user's perspective, the user does not need to perform any classification (file movement). If it is not correct, only the incorrect file may be manually classified (moving the file) on the PC or the like. For this reason, usability is remarkably improved as compared with the prior art. In addition, since still image files belonging to a specific category can be collectively read in folder units, it is easy to use.
- the CPU 14 of the storage device 30 creates a storage file list in the main flash memory 11 or updates the storage file list stored in the main flash memory 11 based on the movement result (S580). . For this reason, the user can easily recognize the contents of the still image file belonging to each folder by using the storage file list (for example, the list shown in FIG. 15).
- the CPU 14 of the storage device 30 generates a thumbnail image of a still image displayed by the still image file, regarding a still image file that has not been transmitted to an external server among the still image files stored in the main flash memory 11. Then, the transmitted still image file is added to the upload file list in the main flash memory 11 together with the URL that can be acquired from the server (S615, S620). Thereafter, the CPU 14 deletes the still image file from the main flash memory 11 (S625).
- the user connects the storage device 30 to a device such as a PC, so that the thumbnail image and the still image file are transferred from the server on the device.
- the URL that can be acquired can be referred to. That is, what still image file is stored in the storage device 30 using these thumbnail images and URLs as clues, and where to access for acquisition is stored in the server. The user can recognize it even after it has been deleted. Therefore, the still image file transmitted to the server is used more effectively.
- the still image file is deleted from the main flash memory 11 in the file upload process (S625), but the deletion timing is not limited to this.
- a still image file in the main flash memory 11 transmitted to the server is marked, and the marked still image file is transferred to the main flash memory when the free space of the main flash memory 11 falls below a predetermined amount. 11 may be deleted. Even if it does in this way, there exists an effect similar to the said embodiment.
- S565 to S575 in the second file writing process are examples of the classification process
- S580 in the second file writing process is an example of the list process.
Abstract
