Abstract
본 발명에 따른 냉장고에는, 냉동 사이클을 구성하는 압축기와, 응축기 및 팽창장치; 상기 팽창장치를 통과한 냉매를 증발시키는 증발기; 상기 증발기의 제상을 위하여 열량을 제공하는 발열부; 및 상기 증발기의 일측에 제공되며, 상기 증발기 착상량을 감지하기 위한 착상량 감지장치가 포함되며, 상기 착상량 감지장치의 작동 조건이 인식되는지 여부에 기초하여, 상기 착상량 감지장치의 작동이 시작되며, 상기 착상량 감지장치의 감지 결과에 따라, 상기 발열부의 발열이 선택적으로 이루어지는 것을 특징으로 한다. 본 발명의 실시예에 의하면, 착상량 감지장치의 작동에 의하여 증발기의 착상량을 용이하게 판단할 수 있고, 판단된 착상량에 따라 증발기를 효과적으로 제상할 수 있다는 장점이 있다.
