Abstract

본 발명은 분얼각의 조절 또는 잎의 줄기에 부착되는 각의 조절에 관여하는 벼 (Oryza sativa) 유래의 OsMPT (Oryza sativa Modifier of Plant Type) 단백질, 상기 단백질을 코딩하는 유전자, 상기 유전자를 포함하는 재조합 식물 발현 벡터, 상기 재조합 식물 발현 벡터로 형질전환된 식물체, 상기 유전자의 세포 내 수준(level)을 조절하여 식물의 외형(architectures)을 변화시키는 방법, 상기 유전자로 식물을 형질전환하여 외형이 변화된 식물 및 수확량이 증가된 식물의 제조방법, 상기 방법에 의해 제조된 수확량이 증가된 식물, 및 상기 유전자를 포함하는 식물의 외형을 변화시키고 수확량을 증가시키기 위한 조성물에 관한 것이다.
