Definitions
- This invention relates to a disposable pants-type wearing article suitable for use as a disposable diaper or the like.
- Disposable pants-type diapers that are joined together by overlapping the side edges of the front and rear torso areas in a palm-like shape are well known in the art, and are belt-like legs that elastically stretch and contract at the edges of the pants-type diaper leg openings.
- a pants-type diaper in which a surrounding elastic member is used is also well known.
- the side edges of the front and rear waist regions are overlapped with each other and joined together by a welding process under pressure. ing.
- a belt-like elastic member around the leg extending in the lateral direction or a belt-like elastic member around the leg extending in the vertical direction is bonded to each of the front and rear waist regions.
- the elastic members around the legs are relatively wide, and for example, urethane foam having a width of about 10 to 45 mm is used.
- a belt-like leg elastic sheet-like member is attached to a base sheet that forms a diaper in a state of being uniformly stretched in the longitudinal direction.
- the leg elastic sheet-like member is cut so that a curved line in the crotch portion of the diaper can be formed.
- the side edges of the front waist area and the side edges of the rear waist area are overlapped in the shape of a palm.
- the side edges are welded to form a palm-like joint area.
- an elastic member formed of natural rubber or synthetic rubber or the like is included in the side edge portion in a wide band shape, the elastic member is included. It is difficult to melt and join the side edges at the portion where they are present, and the side edges that should have been joined may be separated during wearing of the worn article.
- the side edges of the front and rear waist areas are to be welded with an ultrasonic welding apparatus
- the nonwoven fabric or plastic film forming the side edges contains a thermoplastic synthetic resin
- the side edges Even if it is easy to join the parts so that they are not easily separated, the belt-like leg elastic member included in the front waist area and the belt-like leg area included in the rear waist area It is not so easy to join the side edges of the front and rear waist areas so that they are not easily separated at the portion where the elastic member overlaps.
