Description
本発明は、日本国特許出願:特願2009-253288号(2009年11月4日出願)の優先権主張に基づくものであり、同出願の全記載内容は引用をもって本書に組み込み記載されているものとする。
モバイル高速網上のパケット転送装置とモバイル回線交換網上の無線基地局制御装置とをIMS網を介して接続するとともに、
音声のビットレートを変更するための要求信号を、前記パケット転送装置から受信した場合には、前記パケット転送装置または前記無線基地局制御装置から受信したパケットに格納された音声の圧縮符号化ビットストリームを、該要求信号において要求されたビットレートに変換して、前記無線基地局制御装置または前記パケット転送装置に送信する。
ゲートウェイ装置によって、モバイル高速網上のパケット転送装置とモバイル回線交換網上の無線基地局制御装置とをIMS網を介して接続する工程と、

本発明の第1の実施形態に係るゲートウェイ装置について、図面を参照して説明する。図1は、本実施形態に係るゲートウェイ装置10を設けた携帯通信システムのネットワーク構成と接続形態を示す図である。図1を参照すると、携帯通信システムは、モバイル回線交換網100に設けられたゲートウェイ装置10及び無線基地局制御装置20と、IMS網300に設けられたCSCF装置70と、モバイルLTE/EPC網200に設けられたS/P-GW装置30及びeNodeB装置40と、携帯端末50及び60とを有する。
本発明の第2の実施形態に係るゲートウェイ装置について、図面を参照して説明する。図3は、本実施形態に係るゲートウェイ装置10B(図1のゲートウェイ装置10)の構成をブロック図である。図3を参照すると、ゲートウェイ装置10Bは、呼制御・変換部11及び変換部12Bを有する。変換部12Bは、制御・解析部14、プロトコル分解・組立部15、音声トランスコーダ部16B及びパケット送受信部18Bを有する。図3において図2の構成要素と同一の符号が付された構成要素の動作は、同一の符号が付された図2の構成要素の動作と同一であるため、説明を省略する。

Claims (18)
- モバイル高速網上のパケット転送装置とモバイル回線交換網上の無線基地局制御装置とをIMS網を介して接続するとともに、
音声のビットレートを変更するための要求信号を、前記パケット転送装置から受信した場合には、前記パケット転送装置または前記無線基地局制御装置から受信したパケットに格納された音声の圧縮符号化ビットストリームを、該要求信号において要求されたビットレートに変換して、前記無線基地局制御装置または前記パケット転送装置に送信することを特徴とするゲートウェイ装置。 - 前記モバイル高速網に接続された携帯端末から送信された音声のビットレートを変更するための要求信号を、前記パケット転送装置から受信した場合には、前記パケット転送装置から受信したパケットに格納された音声の圧縮符号化ビットストリームを、前記無線基地局制御装置に接続された携帯端末が送受信可能なビットレートに変換して、前記無線基地局制御装置に送信することを特徴とする、請求項1に記載のゲートウェイ装置。
- 前記モバイル高速網に接続された携帯端末に送信する音声のビットレートを変更するための要求信号を、前記パケット転送装置から受信した場合には、前記無線基地局制御装置から受信した音声の圧縮符号化ビットストリームを、該要求信号において要求されたビットレートに変換して、前記パケット転送装置に送信することを特徴とする、請求項1に記載のゲートウェイ装置。
- 前記パケット転送装置によって送信された前記要求信号を、前記IMS網上のセッション制御装置を介して受信することを特徴とする、請求項1ないし3のいずれか1項に記載のゲートウェイ装置。
- 前記要求信号を受信した場合には、前記パケット転送装置又は前記セッション制御装置に承諾の通知をすることを特徴とする、請求項1乃至4のいずれか1項に記載のゲートウェイ装置。
- 前記要求信号は、前記モバイル高速網において輻輳が発生した場合に、前記モバイル高速網に接続された携帯端末によって送信されることを特徴とする、請求項1乃至5のいずれか1項に記載のゲートウェイ装置。
- 前記モバイル高速網における輻輳の発生は、前記モバイル高速網上のeNodeB装置によって検出されることを特徴とする、請求項6に記載のゲートウェイ装置。
- 前記輻輳の発生は、ECN-CE(Explicit Congestion Notification-Congestion Experienced)情報において、前記eNodeB装置から携帯端末に通知されることを特徴とする、請求項7に記載のゲートウェイ装置。
- 前記要求信号は、RFC(Request for Comments)3267のコーデックモードリクエスト(CMR:Codec Mode Request)に格納されることを特徴とする、請求項1乃至8のいずれか1項に記載のゲートウェイ装置。
- 前記モバイル高速網は、LTE(Long Term Evolution)又はEPC(Evolved Packet Core)を含むことを特徴とする、請求項1乃至9のいずれか1項に記載のゲートウェイ装置。
- 前記モバイル高速網に接続されることにより、前記モバイル回線交換網に接続された携帯端末との間で、請求項1ないし10のいずれか1項に記載のゲートウェイ装置を介して音声通信を行うことを特徴とする携帯端末。
- 請求項1乃至10のいずれか1項に記載のゲートウェイ装置と、
請求項11に記載された携帯端末とを備えていることを特徴とする携帯通信システム。 - ゲートウェイ装置によって、モバイル高速網上のパケット転送装置とモバイル回線交換網上の無線基地局制御装置とをIMS網を介して接続する工程と、
音声のビットレートを変更するための要求信号を、前記パケット転送装置から受信した場合には、前記パケット転送装置または前記無線基地局制御装置から受信したパケットに格納された音声の圧縮符号化ビットストリームを、該要求信号において要求されたビットレートに変換して、前記無線基地局制御装置または前記パケット転送装置に送信する工程とを含むことを特徴とする携帯通信方法。 - 前記モバイル高速網に接続された携帯端末から送信された音声のビットレートを変更するための要求信号を、前記パケット転送装置から受信した場合には、前記パケット転送装置から受信したパケットに格納された音声の圧縮符号化ビットストリームを、前記無線基地局制御装置に接続された携帯端末が送受信可能なビットレートに変換して、前記無線基地局制御装置に送信する工程を含むことを特徴とする、請求項13に記載の携帯通信方法。
- 前記モバイル高速網に接続された携帯端末に送信する音声のビットレートを変更するための要求信号を、前記パケット転送装置から受信した場合には、前記無線基地局制御装置から受信した音声の圧縮符号化ビットストリームを、該要求信号において要求されたビットレートに変換して、前記パケット転送装置に送信する工程を含むことを特徴とする、請求項13に記載の携帯通信方法。
- モバイル高速網上のパケット転送装置とモバイル回線交換網上の無線基地局制御装置とをIMS網を介して接続する処理と、
音声のビットレートを変更するための要求信号を、前記パケット転送装置から受信した場合には、前記パケット転送装置または前記無線基地局制御装置から受信したパケットに格納された音声の圧縮符号化ビットストリームを、該要求信号において要求されたビットレートに変換して、前記無線基地局制御装置または前記パケット転送装置に送信する処理とをコンピュータに実行させることを特徴とするプログラム。 - 前記モバイル高速網に接続された携帯端末から送信された音声のビットレートを変更するための要求信号を、前記パケット転送装置から受信した場合には、前記パケット転送装置から受信したパケットに格納された音声の圧縮符号化ビットストリームを、前記無線基地局制御装置に接続された携帯端末が送受信可能なビットレートに変換して、前記無線基地局制御装置に送信する処理をコンピュータに実行させることを特徴とする、請求項16に記載のプログラム。
- 前記モバイル高速網に接続された携帯端末に送信する音声のビットレートを変更するための要求信号を、前記パケット転送装置から受信した場合には、前記無線基地局制御装置から受信した音声の圧縮符号化ビットストリームを、該要求信号において要求されたビットレートに変換して、前記パケット転送装置に送信する処理をコンピュータに実行させることを特徴とする、請求項16に記載のプログラム。
