Abstract

본 발명은 입력 장치 및 이 장치의 접촉 위치 검출 방법을 공개한다. 이 장치는 접촉 위치에 따라 서로 다른 복수개의 측정값들이 발생되고, 상기 복수개의 측정값들을 출력하는 터치 패널부, 상기 측정값들을 입력하고, 문턱값을 이용하여 상기 복수개의 측정값들로부터 적어도 하나 이상의 클러스터를 포함하는 클러스터링된 측정값들을 출력하는 클러스터링부, 및 상기 클러스터링된 측정값들을 입력하고, 가중치 평균을 이용하여 상기 클러스터 각각에 대한 좌표를 계산하여 출력하는 중심점 계산부를 구비하는 것을 특징으로 한다.
