Abstract

Bei einem Verfahren zur Rückgewinnung einer verdampften Flüssigkeit aus einem Luftstrom, wie es beispielsweise für die Trinkwassergewinnung aus Umgebungsluft eingesetzt werden kann, wird die verdampfte Flüssigkeit aus einer ersten Luftmenge in eine zweite Luftmenge übertragen, wobei die zweite Luftmenge kleiner als die erste Luftmenge ist. Die verdampfte Flüssigkeit aus einer ersten Luftmenge wird in einem Sorptionsmittel sorbiert und anschließend in einer zweiten, kleineren Luftmenge wieder desorbiert. Die vorgebbare Taupunkttemperatur der zweiten Luftmenge ist größer als eine Außentemperatur bei üblichen Betriebsbedingungen. Eine Vorrichtung zur Durchführung des vorangehend beschriebenen Verfahrens zur Trinkwassergewinnung aus Umgebungsluft, wobei die verdampfte Flüssigkeit in einem Sorptionsmittel sorbiert und anschließend wieder desorbiert wird, weist einen Behälter (9) mit mehreren drehbar gelagerten Kammern aufweist, die mit dem Sorptionsmittel befüllt sind und von einem Luftstrom durchströmt werden können. Der Behälter (9) weist ringförmig angeordnete, drehbar gelagerte Kammern auf, die Einströmungsöffnungen sowie beabstandet angeordnete Ausströmungsöffnungen für eine Luftströmung aufweisen.
