Definitions
- the invention relates to a method for producing a transparent or translucent, metal foil-free, push-through cover sheet made of a plastic sheet at least single layer and a sealing layer for sealing the cover sheet against a Blisterteilteil a blister.
- a cover sheet produced by the method and a blister pack with the cover sheet are also a cover sheet produced by the method and a blister pack with the cover sheet.
- Known push-through or blister packs consist of a blister base part and a cover foil which is sealed against the blister bottom part and closes the pack.
- a blister pack known for metered packaging of pharmaceutical products, such as tablets usually has a multiplicity of individual small containers in the form of cup-shaped depressions formed in the bottom blister in the blister bottom part for receiving the tablets. To remove a single tablet from a blister pack, the corresponding recess is pressed in the bottom part and in this case the tablet pushed through the lid material.
- the cover sheet is an aluminum foil or a composite foil of an aluminum foil with further layers of plastic or paper.
- the aluminum foil is a preferred lidding material for blister packs, since at the selected thicknesses of the lid materials relatively low breaking forces are necessary, the required piercing energy is thus low and the aluminum has a low elongation.
- the bottom part of the blister pack is made of plastic, such as PVC, PVdC, PCTFE, polypropylene, polyethylene, polystyrene, polyamide, polyethylene terephthalate and constructed of at least one of these materials, optionally also containing an aluminum foil composite films.
- the puncture property the plastic film is achieved by embedding fillers in the matrix.
- the fillers are selected in terms of their composition and proportion so that a weakening of the surrounding plastic matrix occurs, whereby the puncture resistance of the film is lowered so that the packaged goods can push through tearing or breaking the film through them. Due to the requirement that the selection of the fillers and in particular their proportions in the plastic matrix, the puncture property of the film should be ensured, always resulted in opaque cover sheets.
- EP-A-0 613 832 discloses a metal foil-free cover sheet comprising at least one polyolefin or polyester-based thermoplastic film having a filler content of 5 to 50% by weight.
- Preferred plastic is polyethylene
- fillers are, for example, chalk and talc.
- a transparent cover sheet with a polyolefin-containing polymer phase is known.
- the polymer phase contains a hydrocarbon resin component in dissolved form with pendant cyclic groups on the polymer chain.
- Preferred polyolefins are polyethylene, polypropylene or a co- or terpolymer of ethylene and / or propylene.
- filler such as chalk or talc, may be embedded in the polymer composition.
- WO 2009/000403 A discloses a transparent, push-through cover film for a blister pack.
- the cover sheet contains at least one layer of cycloolefin copolymer (COC) or cycloolefin polymer (COP).
- COC and COP are highly transparent materials with excellent barrier to water vapor transmission, can be coextruded with other materials such as polyethylene or polypropylene, and are also very brittle. These properties provide ideal conditions for the use of COC and COP for the production of cover films. With this material it is possible to use cover foils with through-pressure properties similar to those in large quantities. gene mainly from aluminum foil to produce a thickness of 20 microns produced cover films.
- a heat-resistant plastic layer is to be provided on the outside of the cover film.
- this heat-resistant layer of, for example, polypropylene (PP) it may be necessary to increase the thickness of the PP outer layer.
- PP polypropylene
- the invention has for its object to provide a suitable for sealing against all common floor materials cover sheet, which is transparent or translucent and free of metal foil and at the same time has a brittleness, which has comparable through-pressure properties with a conventional cover foil containing an aluminum foil.
- the cover film should have the desired puncture properties regardless of the thickness of a heat-resistant outer layer.
- the irradiation with electrons is preferably carried out on the side facing away from the sealing layer.
- the irradiation with electrons in a voltage window electrons in a voltage window between 70 and 180 kV, in particular between 70 and 120 kV and the radiation dose is between 20 and 80 kGrey.
- the transparent materials can be colored eg with titanium dioxide or printed in white. These materials are then no longer transparent, but still translucent.
- a cover film produced using the method according to the invention is preferably provided on the side facing away from the sealing layer with a thermally stable plastic layer at sealing temperature, in particular with a layer of polypropylene (PP), polyamide (PA) or polyethylene terephthalate (PET), or with a Sealing temperature thermally stable paint layer, provided as the outermost layer.
- a thermally stable plastic layer at sealing temperature in particular with a layer of polypropylene (PP), polyamide (PA) or polyethylene terephthalate (PET), or with a Sealing temperature thermally stable paint layer, provided as the outermost layer.
- At least one layer of cycloolefin copolymer (COC) or cycloolefin polymer (COP) can be arranged between the sealing layer and the thermally stable plastic layer or lacquer layer to further improve the through-pressure properties and as a barrier layer against the passage of water vapor.
- COC cycloolefin copolymer
- COP cycloolefin polymer
- the sealing layer is preferably a hot-seal lacquer layer or a coextruded heat-sealable layer, which can be sealed against blister base parts of all common materials.
- Examples of used for the production of blister materials are films of polyvinyl chloride (PVC), polyvinylidene chloride (PVDC), ACLAR ® (polychlorotrifluoroethylene, PCTFE), polypropylene (PP), polyethylene terephthalate (PET), polyethylene (PE), polystyrene (PS), polyamide (PA) and laminated films such as PVC / ACLAR®, PVC / PVDC, PVC / COC, PVC / COP or Formpack ® (nium aluminum / plastic composite film).
- PVC polyvinyl chloride
- PVDC polyvinylidene chloride
- ACLAR ® polychlorotrifluoroethylene
- PP polypropylene
- PET polyethylene terephthalate
- PET polyethylene
- PS polystyrene
- PA polyamide
- laminated films such as PVC / ACLAR®, PVC / PVDC, PVC / COC, PVC / COP or Formpack ®
- a particularly preferred cover sheet has a core layer of cycloolefin copolymer (COC) or cycloolefin polymer (COP), which on one side with a sealing layer of polyethylene copolymer (PE-copo) and on the other side with a heat-resistant layer of polypropylene homopolymer (PP homo) is occupied.

Description
Fig. 1 eine Draufsicht auf das Blisterbodenteil einer Durchdrückpackung;
Fig. 2 einen Querschnitt durch die Durchdrückpackung von Fig.1 nach der Linie l-l;
Fig.1 ;
Fig. 4 einen Querschnitt durch eine Deckfolie.
A 20 μm Aluminiumfolie hart, lackiert B 18 μm PP-homo / 14 μm COC-Blend / 5 μm PE-copo
