Abstract

Bei einem Verfahren zum Vergasen backender Steinkohle mittels eines Druckvergasers wird die Steinkohle in einen schachtförmigen Gaserzeuger eingebracht und wandert in diesem in Form eines Fließbetts im Gegenstrom zu einem von unten her in das Fließbett eingebrachten Vergasungsmittel nach unten, wobei die Steinkohle nacheinander getrocknet, geschwelt, vergast und verbrannt wird und die größere Menge des gewonnenen Produktgases über einen von einem im oberen Abschnitt des Gaserzeugers angebrachten Rohrabschnitt und der diesem gegenüberliegenden Innenseite des Gaserzeugers gebildeten nach oben verschlossenen Ringraum aus dem Gaserzeuger geleitet wird und die Restmenge des Produktgases durch das in dem Rohrabschnitt befindliche Segment des Fließbetts gesaugt wird, nach außen geleitet und in den Ringraum zurückgeleitet wird. Um die Gaserzeugerleistung zu verbessern, ist vorgesehen, dass das in dem Rohrabschnitt befindliche Segment des Fließbetts durch die hindurchgesaugte Restmenge des Produktgases auf eine Temperatur von 260 bis 380° C erwärmt und dabei mechanisch aufgelockert wird und die in der aus dem Fließbett nach oben austretenden Restmenge des Produktgases enthaltenen Aschepartikel und der von dem Produktgas mitgerissene Feinkornanteil der eingetragenen Steinkohle abgetrennt und in das in dem Rohrabschnitt befindliche Segment des Fließbetts eingetragen werden.
