En utilisation, le piston (21) délimite une conduite de pression (15) conçue entre une extrémité proximale de la conduite de cathéter (10) et une surface proximale du piston (21), de telle manière que le piston (21) peut coulisser axialement par rapport à la conduite de cathéter, au moins partiellement, pour libérer l'élément fonctionnel (50) sous l'effet d'une pression, notamment d'une surpression et/ou d'une dépression.
