Abstract

본 발명은 (a) 유기성 폐기물 또는 부산물 분말을 제조하는 단계; (b) 상기 단계 (a)의 유기성 폐기물 또는 부산물 분말과 토양미생물을 혼합하는 단계; (c) 상기 단계 (b)의 결과물과 모래를 혼합하여 토양미생물을 모래에 접종하는 단계; 및 (d) 상기 (c)의 결과물에 수분을 공급하고 증식하는 토양미생물의 균사에 의해 상기 유기성 폐기물 분말과 모래 입자를 응집시키는 단계를 포함하는 모래 응집체의 제조 방법에 관한 것이다. 본 발명은 유기성 폐기물(또는 부산물) 및 토양미생물을 이용하여 모래 응집체(바람직하게는 모래떡, 모래케이크, 보도블록 또는 벽돌 등) 또는 모래를 개질 (바람직하게는, 비옥토화)하여 폐기물(또는 부산물)을 재활용할 수 있어 유기성 폐기물(또는 부산물)로 인한 토양 또는 수질 오염을 방지할 수 있다. 또한, 본 발명을 식물이 잘 자라지 못하는 모래에 적용하는 경우 모래의 비옥토화(肥沃土化)로 공생미생물들의 번식이 촉진되어 식물을 재배할 수 있으며 화학비료 및 농약의 사용 억제로 녹색 친환경농업이 활성화될 수 있다. 한편, 본 발명은 황사현상을 일으키는 중국 등의 사막에 적용하는 경우 모래 및 황토에 비산성(飛散性) 방지효과가 생겨 황사현상을 방지하고 이로 인한 환경오염 및 동식물에게 주는 폐해를 예방할 수 있다.
