図1は、本実施形態に係る風力発電装置の全体構成を示したブロック図である。風力発電装置1は、図1に示されるように、支柱2と、支柱2の上端に設置されるナセル3と、略水平な軸線周りに回転可能にしてナセル3に設けられるロータヘッド4とを有している。ロータヘッド4には、その回転軸線周りに放射状に3枚の風車翼5が取り付けられている。これにより、ロータヘッド4の回転軸線方向から風車翼5に当たった風の力が、ロータヘッド4を回転軸線周りに回転させる動力に変換され、この動力がナセル3内に収容された発電機によって電気エネルギーに変換されるようになっている。
また、ナセル3には、風速風向計(図示略)が設けられている。風速風向計は、風速と風向とを測定する。ナセル3は、風速風向計によって測定された風速と風向に応答して旋回される。
このように、系統電圧の挙動に応じて、クローバ回路27等を作動させるのではなく、上記発電機ロータ電流およびDCリンク電圧の挙動により制御内容を切り替えるので、系統電圧が低下したことを検知するために、新たな機能を追加したり、新たな判断基準を設定したりする必要がない。
まず、系統側に事故等が発生し、系統電圧が低下すると、発電機6のロータ電流が増加するとともに、DCリンク15の電圧(換言すると、コンバータ14により変換された直流電圧)が増加する。
また、クローバ回路を作動させる条件と、コンバータ14およびインバータ16の作動を停止させる条件とを異ならせてもよい。

- 発電機と、前記発電機ロータの出力を三相交流電力から直流電力に変換するコンバータと、前記コンバータから出力される直流電力を3相交流電力に変換するインバータと、前記コンバータおよび前記インバータを制御する電力制御部とを備え、前記電力制御部が、前記発電機のロータ電流または前記コンバータにより変換された直流電圧に基づいて、前記コンバータおよび前記インバータの作動の停止・再開を制御する風力発電装置であって、
風車翼のピッチ角を制御するブレード制御部を有し、
前記ブレード制御部は、
前記電力制御部によって、前記コンバータおよび前記インバータの作動が停止された場合に、前記発電機の回転数が同期回転数または同期回転数以上となるように、風車翼のピッチ角を制御し、
前記電力制御部によって、前記コンバータおよび前記インバータの作動が再開された場合に、風速、前記発電機の回転数、および要求出力の少なくともいずれか一つに基づいて決定される目標ピッチ角に一致するように、風車翼のピッチ角を制御する風力発電装置。 - 前記発電機のロータ巻線に接続され、該ロータ巻線を流れる電流が既定の電流閾値以上となった場合または前記コンバータにより変換された直流電圧が既定の電圧閾値以上となった場合に作動して、ロータ巻線を短絡させるクローバ回路を有し、
前記ブレード制御部は、
前記クローバ回路が作動し、かつ、前記電力制御部によって、前記コンバータおよび前記インバータの作動が停止された場合に、前記発電機の回転数が同期回転数または同期回転数以上となるように、風車翼のピッチ角を制御し、
前記クローバ回路が作動停止し、かつ、前記電力制御部によって、前記コンバータおよび前記インバータの作動が再開された場合に、風速、前記発電機の回転数、および要求出力の少なくともいずれか一つに基づいて決定される目標ピッチ角に一致するように、風車翼のピッチ角を制御する請求項1に記載の風力発電装置。 - 発電機と、前記発電機ロータの出力を三相交流電力から直流電力に変換するコンバータと、前記コンバータから出力される直流電力を3相交流電力に変換するインバータと、前記コンバータおよび前記インバータを制御する電力制御部とを備え、前記電力制御部が、前記発電機のロータ電流または前記コンバータにより変換された直流電圧に基づいて、前記コンバータおよび前記インバータの作動の停止・再開を制御する風力発電装置の制御方法であって、
