Abstract

L'invention concerne un ascenseur, de préférence un ascenseur pour passagers, comprenant une cabine d'ascenseur (2), et au moins un câble de levage (R) pour déplacer et supporter la cabine d'ascenseur, une poulie à gorge de traction (6) qui agit sur le câble de levage, et une source d'énergie pour faire tourner la poulie à gorge de traction (6). Le contrepoids (1) de l'ascenseur comprend un frein pour ralentir et/ou empêcher au minimum un déplacement vers le haut du contrepoids (1).
