Abstract

본 발명은 절삭 인서트를 적용한 밀링 절삭공구에 관한 것이다. 보다 상세하게는 절삭 인서트의 측면에 오목 니크절인을 형성함으로써, 고절입시 칩을 잘게 절단하여 유효가공절인을 축소시켜 마찰을 감소시키고 절삭저항을 감소시키는 역할을 수행하고, 그 결과 공구의 수명이 증대될 수 있으며, 더불어 칩 배출을 용이하게 하고 저항을 감소시킴으로써 고절입시 보다 이송을 크게 할 수 있도록 하여 생산성을 향상시킬 수 있고, 절삭 인서트의 상부면과 하부면에 오목 리세스를 형성함으로써, 오목 니크절인에 의해 잘게 절단된 칩과 상하부면 사이의 절삭저항을 감소시킬 수 있을 뿐만 아니라, 절삭 인서트의 주절인에 오목 니크절인을 형성함으로써, 절삭 인서트와 커터바디의 체결을 위해 시트부의 시트측면을 변형하지 않고도 니크절인 기능을 수행할 수 있는 절삭 인서트를 적용한 밀링 절삭공구에 관한 것이다.
