- MMSFN multimedia broadcast multicast service single frequency network
- the form of periodically setting the pattern may consider simply how the specific subframe is formatted and how to inform the specific pattern.
- the aperiodic setting method may consider a method of broadcasting to a system or unicasting to a specific user equipment (UE) or a target system group when a subframe format is set.
- UE user equipment
- the periodic setting method is to set the designation period to a constant value in designating a subframe of a specific type.
- the system information gives the bitmap information that implements the information on the format setting for each subframe in the radio frame as a bitmap and the offset value for the start position to which the bitmap is applied.
- the radio frame may be a radio frequency division duplexing (FDD) frame.
- FDD radio frequency division duplexing
- a radio frequency division duplexing (FDD) frame for example, a length of a radio frame of 10 ms
- FDD radio frequency division duplexing
- a radio FDD frame consists of a total of 10 subframes (eg, each subframe is 1ms in length), and some of the subframes have a specific purpose.
- the uses of the 0, 4, 5, and 9th subframes are specified.
- subframes that can designate a subframe of a specific type within one radio FDD frame are 1, 2, 3, 6, 7, and 8th subframes except for the 0, 4, 5, and 9th subframes.

- the subframe designation information includes initial position information of a subframe designated in a specific format among the 1, 2, 3, 6, 7, and 8th subframes, and period information in which the subframe of the specific format is repeated. can do.
- FIG. 4 is a flowchart of a method of transmitting subframe designation information including bitmap information designating a subframe of a specific format according to an embodiment of the present invention.
- the base station generates subframe designation information including bitmap information designating a subframe of a specific format in at least one or more wireless FDD frames (S410).
- the base station transmits the generated subframe designation information to the user equipment (S420).
- the contents of the bitmap information are as follows.
- subframes that can be designated as MBSFN subframes are 1, 2, 3, 6, 7, 8 Since the sixth subframe is a total of six, the bitmap is composed of 6 bits, and each bit of the 1st, 2nd, 3rd, 6th, 7th and 8th subframes is sequentially formed from the leftmost of the 6 bits. Assign to set. When each bit is 1, it indicates that the corresponding subframe is set to the MBSFN subframe, and when it is 0, it indicates that it is not.
- the MBSFN subframe may be set for a predetermined number of consecutive radio FDD frames, not limited to one radio FDD frame as described above.
- the bitmap may consist of 24 bits. Can be. In order from the leftmost of the 24 bits, each bit is allocated to set the 1, 2, 3, 6, 7, and 8th subframes included in each of the four consecutive radio FDD frames as MBSFN subframes. When each bit is 1, it indicates that the corresponding subframe is set to the MBSFN subframe, and when it is 0, it indicates that it is not.
- the above-described method of designating the MBSFN subframe may be used to designate other types of subframes in addition to the MBSFN subframe.
- the other type of specific type of subframe may be one of a relay subframe, a positioning subframe, an LTE-A subframe, and a subframe including CSI-RS.
- the corresponding subframe may be set to MBSFN, and further configuration thereof may be referred to again in the above-described format.
- the method may have a form in which the above-described method is applied once more.
- a subframe in which a legacy UE does not have a problem it may be referred to through a newly defined subframe type indication unlike a field indicating an MBSFN subframe.
- the subframe of the specific type may overlap with a specific subframe of the legacy system according to the period.
- the physical structure of the data communication uses HARQ but defines the period as Hp (for example, 8 ms).
- Hp for example, 8 ms.
- the radio frame is repeatedly transmitted in a period of Rp (for example, 10 ms) that is a transmission unit of the radio frame.
- the 0, 4, 5, and 9 subframes are defined as unicast, if the period of a subframe of a specific type is not a multiple of 10ms, the 0, 4, 5, 9th subframe Periodic overlaps can occur.
- the 0th, 4th, 5th, and 9th subframes are taken as an example, but the example subframes may be changed.
- the HARQ process ID is rotated in an 8ms period. Therefore, if a period of a subframe of a specific type is not 8 ms, a situation in which the subframe of a specific type periodically overlaps with the HARQ process may occur.
- a period of a subframe of a specific type may be determined based on a specific rule.
- the period Sp of the period-specific subframe is set and the window Wp connected thereto is determined. If there is a subframe prohibited in the window Wp range (for example, in the LTE system, the 0th, 4th, 5th, and 9th subframes) at the period Sp position, the index among the remaining subframes except the prohibition subframe is present.
- a subframe having the smallest index, the largest subframe, or a subframe closest to the Sp may be set as a subframe of a specific format.
- Rp is a transmission unit of a radio frame transmitted by a base station.
- the initial position value of a subframe of a specific format is 1, and the initial position value may be changed.
- the subframe index indicates the number of subframes in the radio frame.
- the next subframe should be the ninth, but the ninth subframe is not used. Since the window Wp is applied in the ninth subframe, the window Wp is applied to the smaller index, so that the seventh and eighth subframes can be designated as a subframe of a specific type, and the subframe of the smallest index is selected. Since the selection is made, the seventh subframe is selected.
- the next subframe should be the ninth, but the 9th subframe is prohibited. Therefore, if the window Wp is applied in the ninth subframe, the window Wp is applied to the smaller index, so that the seventh and eighth subframes can be selected as subframes of a specific type, but the smallest index subframe is selected. Therefore, the seventh subframe is selected.
- the rest of the cases are selected in the same manner as described above.
- the next subframe should be the ninth, but the 9th subframe is prohibited. Therefore, when the window Wp is applied in the ninth subframe, the window Wp is applied to the larger index, so that the first subframe of the next radio frame can be selected as a subframe of a specific format. The rest of the cases are selected in the same manner as described above.
- a subframe that can be set as a subframe of a specific type is selected by applying a period Sp in a subframe of a specific type. If the subframe to which the period Sp is applied cannot be selected as a subframe of a specific type corresponding to one of the 0, 4, 5, and 9th subframes, the subframe corresponds to the 0, 4, 5, 9th subframe. Otherwise, the closest subframe closest to the 0th, 4th, 5th, and 9th subframes is selected.
- the method may be applied to a wireless time division duplexing (TDD) frame.
- TDD wireless time division duplexing
- the wireless TDD subframe includes 10 subframes, and the method is applied to at least one or more subframes other than the 0, 1, 4, and 5 subframes which are prohibited from use. Can be specified as a subframe of type.
- the subframe in which the use is prohibited may be changed.
- the base station first generates subframe designation information including pattern information designating a subframe of a specific format in at least one or more radio frames (S510).
- the base station transmits the generated subframe designation information to the user equipment (S520).
- the pattern information indicates a position of the subframe of the specific format within the radio frame as a pattern. Description of the pattern information is as follows.
- the hopping pattern-based periodic setting method is a method of designating a specific pattern in advance and designating it in the system. For example, a predetermined pattern for selecting a certain number of radio frames (that is, Nr radio frames) is predetermined. In this case, a constant offset may be further defined in the pattern to be selected.
- Nr radio frames a predetermined number of radio frames
- a constant offset may be further defined in the pattern to be selected.
- the hopping pattern can be easily used to match a period that is not matched with other system operations while easily skipping constraints on irregular subframes.
- a HARQ process has a period of 8 subframes (one subframe is 1 ms)
- a radio frame has a period of 10 subframes (one subframe is 1 ms)
- an unusable subframe is 0, 4th, 5th, 9th subframe.
- Table 2 shows an example of a hopping pattern in consideration of the HARQ process period of 8 ms.
- the pattern generated here may be used in a form in which the order is cyclically shifted.
- [x, y] means that it can have both x and y values.
- the subframes prohibited from use in Table 2 are 0, 4, 5, and 9th subframes, the subframes prohibited from use may be changed in some cases.
- the aperiodic setting method is a method of notifying a subframe format in the form of system information described above, but notifying a subframe format based on scheduling. That is, a method of informing a position of a subframe of a specific type at the start of a corresponding radio frame or informing of a position of a subframe of a specific type at all times in a position of a specific radio frame.
- the first subframe may be used to inform the definition of one radio frame section each time.
- the HARQ process ID is a safe method because it collides with a specific ID by 40 or 80ms cycles. At this time, it is possible to inform all types of subframes within a corresponding period. It is also possible to report the information for such a long time as system information.
- the bitmap can be set in the same manner as the bitmap.
- the prohibited subframe may be defined differently according to a specific type of subframe, and the prohibited subframe may not exist.
- the 5th and 6th OFDM symbols are used as SCHs, and the 7,8, 9th and 10th OFDM symbols are used as PBCHs. Since there is a common reference signal and a PDCCH, only OFDM symbols remaining except for all of them can be designated and used in a specific subframe format. That is, if the relay uses these subframes, when the subframe is designated for relay, all signals must be transmitted if the corresponding OFDM symbol is not for relay, and other operations can be performed only at the OFDM symbol for relay. Structure is possible.
- the control channel is a signal that must be absolutely transmitted based on an initial access and an intra / inter-RAT (Radio Access Technology) request. Therefore, the control channel must exist even if the subframe format is overridden.
- Radio Access Technology Radio Access Technology
- SIB System Information Block
- the number of common reference signals can be reduced when it is determined that there is no shortage of measuring channels. That is, it is possible to design a form that supports only the ones in a specific OFDM symbol without supporting all common reference signals spread in one subframe, that is, a form that allows only the first one OFDM symbol or the first two OFDM symbols as an example of the LTE system. .
- control channels may vary in length based on a Physical Control Format Indicator CHannel (PCFICH) value, and may be limited to a specific value according to a subframe format. For example, in the case of a relay subframe format, this length can be set to zero. In this case, the corresponding subframe looks like a blank subframe from the user equipment / base station standpoint.
- PCFICH Physical Control Format Indicator CHannel
- the foregoing description may be applied to a common reference signal other than a subframe prohibited from use and PCFICH, PDCCH, PHICH, and the like.
