Abstract
Die Erfindung betrifft eine optische Linse, die haubenartig geformt ist und eine lichtdurchlässige Stirnseite (11) sowie eine sich daran anschließende Seitenwand (12) besitzt, wobei die Seitenwand (12) und die Stirnseite (11) unterschiedliche Komponenten der optischen Linse (1) bilden, die durch Spritzgusstechnik miteinander verbunden sind.
Description
Optische Linse
Die Erfindung betrifft eine optische Linse gemäß dem Oberbegriff des Patentanspruchs 1.
I . Stand der Technik
Eine derartige optische Linse ist beispielsweise in der DE 298 13 531 Ul offenbart. Diese Schrift beschreibt eine optische Linse für Fahrzeugscheinwerfer, deren Vorderseite von einem zentralen sphärischen oder asphärischen Linsenteil und mindestens einem sich über eine umlaufende Flanke an das zentrale Linsenteil anschließenden sphärischen oder asphärischen Linsenring gebildet wird. Diese optische Linse besitzt an ihrem Rand einen ringförmig umlaufenden Flansch, der zur Halterung der optischen Linse dient.
II. Darstellung der Erfindung
Es ist Aufgabe der Erfindung, eine optische Linse bereitzustellen, die ein verbessertes Zusammenwirken mit einer Lichtquelle und etwaigen weiteren optischen Elementen einer Beleuchtungseinheit ermöglicht.
Diese Aufgabe wird erfindungsgemäß durch eine optische Linse mit den Merkmalen aus dem Patentanspruch 1 gelöst. Besonders vorteilhafte Ausführungen der Erfindung sind in den abhängigen Patentansprüchen beschrieben.
Die erfindungsgemäße optische Linse zeichnet sich durch ihre haubenartige Form, die durch eine lichtdurchlässige Stirnseite und eine sich daran anschließende Seitenwand gebildet ist, sowie dadurch aus, dass Stirnseite und
Seitenwand der optischen Linse als unterschiedliche Komponenten ausgebildet sind, die durch Spritzgusstechnik miteinander verbunden sind.
Aufgrund der haubenartigen Form der optischen Linse können die Lichtquelle und etwaige weitere optische Elemente einer Beleuchtungseinheit, wie beispielsweise ein Reflektor, geschützt vor äußeren Einflüssen unter der haubenartigen optischen Linse angeordnet werden. Damit ist zum Schutz der Lichtquelle keine Abdeckscheibe erfor- derlich. Die haubenartige Form ermöglicht außerdem den Verzicht auf Halterungsmittel für die optische Linse, da die Seitenwand der haubenartigen optischen Linse selbst zu ihrer Halterung verwendet werden kann. Ferner kann mittels der haubenartigen Form der optischen Linse durch Abdichten der Schnittstelle zwischen der optischen Linse und einem Gehäuse einer Beleuchtungseinheit, welche die optische Linse als Bestandteil enthält, eine gasdichte Anordnung der Lichtquelle und etwaiger weiterer optischer Elemente unter der haubenartigen optischen Linse erreicht werden. Da außerdem die Stirnseite und die Seitenwand als unterschiedliche, mittels Spritzgusstechnik miteinander verbundene Komponenten der Linse ausgebildet sind, ist es möglich, zum Einen die Stirnseite lichtdurchlässig und die Seitenwand lichtundurchlässig auszubilden und zum Anderen die optische Linse trotzdem einteilig auszubilden .
Vorteilhafterweise ist die Seitenwand der erfindungsgemäßen optischen Linse lichtundurchlässig ausgebildet, um die Seitenwand als Abschattungsvorrichtung nutzen zu können, so dass Licht nur über die Stirnseite, die mit
den lichtbrechenden Flächen der optischen Linse ausgestattet ist, austreten kann.
Die Stirnseite und die Seitenwand sind zu dem vorgenannten Zweck vorzugsweise aus unterschiedlichen Materialien gefertigt. Beispielweise kann für die Stirnseite ein Material hoher Lichtdurchlässigkeit und für die Seitenwand ein lichtundurchlässiges Material verwendet werden.
Vorzugsweise besteht die Stirnseite der optischen Linse daher aus einem Material aus der Gruppe von Polycarbonat, Polymethylmethacrylat und Glas.
Die Seitenwand besteht vorzugsweise aus einem Material aus der Gruppe von Polycarbonat, insbesondere mit Farbpigmenten versehenem Polycarbonat, Polyamid und Polybuty- lenterephthalat .
Vorteilhafterweise ist zumindest die Seitenwand als Spritzgussteil ausgebildet, eine einfache und kostengünstige Fertigung sowie eine Verbindung zwischen Seitenwand und Stirnseite der optischen Linse mittels Spritzgusstechnik zu ermöglichen.
III. Beschreibung des bevorzugten Ausführungsbeispiels
Nachstehend wird die Erfindung anhand eines bevorzugten Ausführungsbeispiels näher erläutert. Es zeigen:

In den Figuren 1 und 2 sind unterschiedliche Ansichten der optischen Linse gemäß dem bevorzugten Ausführungsbeispiel der Erfindung abgebildet. Die optische Linse 1 ist haubenartig geformt und einteilig ausgebildet. Die opti- sehe Linse 1 besitzt eine lichtdurchlässige Stirnseite 11 sowie eine lichtundurchlässige ringförmige Seitenwand 12. Die Stirnseite 11 und die sich daran anschließende Seitenwand 12 bilden die Haubenform der optischen Linse 1. Die Stirnseite 11 besteht aus Polycarbonat und die Sei- tenwand besteht aus Polybutylenterephthalat . Figur 1 zeigt die Außenseite bzw. Vorderseite der erfindungsgemäßen optischen Linse 1 und damit auch die Außenseite 110 ihrer Stirnseite 11 und die Außenseite 120 ihrer Seitenwand 12. In Figur 2 ist die Innenseite der haubenartigen optische Linse 1 abgebildet. Die Stirnseite 11 besitzt an ihrer Innenseite 111 eine zentral an der Stirnseite 11 angeordnete erste lichtbrechende Fläche 113, die von einem elliptischen Rand begrenzt ist und plan ausgebildet ist. Außerhalb der ersten lichtbrechenden Fläche 113 ist die Innenseite 111 der Stirnseite 11 mit parallel zueinander verlaufenden Rippen 115 versehen, die der Stirnseite 11 in diesem Bereich licht st reuende Eigenschaften verleihen. Auf ihrer Außenseite 110 besitzt die Stirnseite 11 eine zentral an der Stirnseite 11 angeordnete zweite lichtbrechende Fläche 114, die von einem ellipti-
schen Rand begrenzt ist und konvex gewölbt ist. Die erste 113 und zweite lichtbrechende Fläche 114 korrespondieren zueinander und bilden eine nicht rotationssymmetrische, asphärische Linse, deren optische Achse senkrecht zur planen ersten lichtbrechenden Fläche 113 verläuft und mit der Ringachse der ringförmigen Seitenwand 12 zusammenfällt. Außerhalb der zweiten lichtbrechenden Fläche 114 ist die Außenseite 110 der Stirnseite 11 plan ausgebildet. Aufgrund der auf ihrer Innenseite 111 angeordneten Rippen 115 besitzt die Stirnseite 11 außerhalb der zweiten lichtbrechenden Fläche 114 lichtstreuende Eigenschaften. Im Bereich der von den beiden lichtbrechenden Flächen 113, 114 gebildeten asphärischen Linse besitzt die Stirnseite 11 eine erhöhte Wandstärke. An ihrer Innensei- te 111 besitzt die Stirnseite 11 außerdem eine kreisringförmige ebene Auflagefläche 117, die den Außenrand der Stirnseite 11 bildet und als Auflagefläche für einen Reflektor einer Beleuchtungseinheit dienen kann, welche die optische Linse als Bestandteil enthält. Die Seiten- wand 12 ist geringfügig konisch ausgebildet. Das heißt, der Innendurchmesser und Außendurchmesser der Seitenwand 12 nehmen mit wachsendem Abstand zur Stirnseite 11 geringfügig zu. An der Innenseite 121 der Seitenwand 12 sind in unmittelbarer Nähe der Stirnseite 11 fünf, in den Innenraum der haubenartigen optische Linse 1 hineinragende Vorsprünge 123 äquidistant entlang ihres Umfangs angeordnet. Zusätzlich ist an der Innenseite eine in den Innenraum der haubenartigen optischen Linse 1 hineinragende Referenznase 125 angeordnet. Die Referenznase 125 besitzt eine andere Form als die Vorsprünge 123 und kann daher zur Festlegung der Winkellage eines Reflektors
einer Beleuchtungseinheit dienen. Diese Vorsprünge 123 bilden Anschlagsflächen für den Reflektor der Beleuchtungseinheit und dienen zusammen mit der Auflagefläche 117 und der Referenznase 125 zur lagerichtigen Montage Ausrichtung und Anordnung des Reflektors in Bezug auf die optische Linse 1.
Die haubenartige optische Linse 1 bzw. ihre Seitenwand 12 besitzt an ihrem der Stirnseite 11 gegenüberliegenden Ende einen kreisringförmigen, abgestuften Rand 130. Im Bereich des abgestuften Randes 130 ist der Innendurchmesser der Seitenwand 12 stufenartig erweitert. Der Rand 130 bildet daher an der Innenseite der Seitenwand 12 eine kreiszylindrische Mantelfläche 132 und eine parallel zur Stirnseite 11 angeordnete ringförmige Auflagefläche 133 aus. Die Mantelfläche 132 kann daher einen Referenzdurchmesser für die räumliche Ausrichtung und Anordnung einer Leuchtdiodenanordnung 3 einer Beleuchtungseinheit in Bezug auf die haubenartige optische Linse 1 definieren. Die Auflagefläche 132 liegt an der Leuchtdiodenanordnung an und definiert eine Referenzebene für die relative Positionierung von optischer Linse 1 und Leuchtdiodenanordnung. Außerdem ist am Rand 130 eine weitere Referenznase 112 angeformt, die zur Festlegung der relativen Winkellage zwischen der optischen Linse 1 und einer Leuchtdiodenanordnung dienen kann.
Die optische Linse 1 weist aus fertigungstechnischen Gründen an ihrer Seitenwand 12 zwei einander gegenüber liegende Stege 116, die sich jeweils vom Rand 130 bis zur Stirnseite 11 erstrecken. Im Bereich der Stege 116 be- sitzt die Seitenwand 12 eine erhöhte Wandstärke.
In Figur 3 ist schematisch ein Querschnitt durch die in den Figuren 1 und 2 abgebildete optische Linse 1 dargestellt. Die Stirnseite 11 besitzt einen ringförmigen Flansch 140 der in einer ringförmigen Nut der Seitenwand 12 mittels Spritzgusstechnik fixiert ist. Die Seitenwand 12 ist ein Spritzgussteil. Bei der Herstellung der Seitenwand 12 wird beispielsweise die vorgefertigte Stirnseite 11 in die Gussform für die Seitenwand 12 eingelegt, so dass der ringförmige Flansch 140 mit dem Kunststoffma- terial der Seitenwand 12 umspritzt wird. Dadurch kann die Stirnseite 11 beispielsweise aus Glas bestehen. Alternativ kann die Stirnseite 11 aber auch als Spritzgussteil ausgebildet sein.
Claims
1. Optische Linse, dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass die optische Linse (1) haubenartig geformt ist und eine lichtdurchlässige Stirnseite (11) sowie eine sich daran anschließende Seitenwand (12) besitzt, wobei die Seitenwand (12) und die Stirnseite (11) unterschiedliche Komponenten der optischen Linse (1) bilden, die durch Spritzgusstechnik miteinander verbunden sind.
2. Optische Linse nach Anspruch 1, wobei die Seiten- wand (12) lichtundurchlässig ausgebildet ist.
3. Optische Linse nach Anspruch 1 oder 2, wobei die Stirnseite (11) und die Seitenwand (12) aus unterschiedlichen Materialien bestehen.
4. Optische Linse nach einem der Ansprüche 1 bis 3, wobei die Seitenwand (12) aus einem Material aus der Gruppe von Polycarbonat, Polyamid und Polybuty- lenterephthalat besteht.
5. Optische Linse nach einem der Ansprüche 1 bis 4, wobei die Seitenwand (12) als Spritzgussteil ausge- bildet ist.
6. Optische Linse nach einem der Ansprüche 1 bis 5, wobei die Stirnseite (11) aus einem Material aus der Gruppe von Polycarbonat, Polymethylmethacrylat und Glas besteht.
