Abstract

The present invention relates to a remote controller receiver module and mounting structure for same, and comprises a light receiving element that receives and processes the signal of the remote controller; a lead frame whereon is mounted a signal processing element that processes a received signal and is formed by projecting a plurality of lead terminals to one side; a shield case that forms a light receiving window corresponding to the location of said light receiving element, bends left and right sides to form a bent part, and has a plurality of ground terminals formed by being projected outward so that a connection may be made with the lead terminal of said lead frame externally; a mold part molded by an epoxy resin that surrounds said lead frame and shield case and exposes the lead terminal of the lead frame and the ground terminal of the shield case externally; and a hemispherical lens part that is formed on the light receiving face of said mold part. By a technique wherein the ground terminal of said shield case is projected outside of said mold part and connected with said lead terminal upon mounting on a printed circuit board, thereby projecting the ground terminal outside the package without contacting the shield case inside the package, and consequently making connections from the printed circuit board, the number of production workers may be effectively reduced, and production efficiency may be improved.
