Abstract

L’invention concerne un composé azo hydrosoluble représenté par la formule (1) (dans laquelle n représente un entier de 1 à 3 ; x représente un entier de 2 à 4 ; et le groupe A représente un groupe amino aliphatique en C1-C20 à substitution carboxy, un groupe amino aliphatique en C1-C3 à substitution sulfo, un groupe aryl(alkylamino en C1-C4) substitué ou non substitué, un groupe amino aromatique substitué ou non substitué, ou analogue) ou un de ses sels. Le composé azo hydrosoluble ou son sel a une densité d’impression élevée, appropriée pour l’impression par jet d’encre, et est apte à produire un colorant jaune. Selon l’invention, un article imprimé à partir de ce colorant présente une grande résistance dans de nombreux domaines, notamment une grande résistance à la lumière, et une composition d’encre préparée à partir de ce colorant a une excellente stabilité au stockage. L’invention concerne également une composition d’encre contenant le composé azo hydrosoluble ou un de ses sels.
