生成された通常経路情報を前記ノードへ通知する経路情報通知部と、
生成された予備経路情報を記憶するデータ記憶部と、
障害の発生を検知する障害情報取得部と
を有し、
前記障害情報取得部が障害の発生を検知すると、前記経路情報通知部が、前記データ記憶部に記憶された予備経路情報を前記ノードに通知し、
前記ノードは、前記トランスポート制御サーバからの予備経路情報を受信し、通常経路情報を予備経路情報に変更するネットワークシステムが提供される。
複数のノードとトランスポート制御サーバを備え、各ノードが前記トランスポート制御サーバから通知される経路情報に従いデータを転送するネットワークシステムにおけるトランスポート制御方法であって、
設定されるネットワークのトポロジ情報及びリソース情報に従い通常経路情報を生成するステップと、
予測される障害箇所に従い変更された予測トポロジ情報及び予測リソース情報に従い、該障害箇所に障害が発生した際の予備経路情報を予め生成するステップと、
生成された通常経路情報を前記ノードへ通知するステップと、
生成された予備経路情報を記憶するステップと、
障害の発生を検知するステップと、
障害の発生を検知すると、記憶された予備経路情報をノードに通知するステップと
を含む前記トランスポート制御方法が提供される。
トランスポート制御システムは、例えば、トランスポート制御サーバS-1と、複数のノードNを備える。図1の例では、5台のノードN-1~N-5を示すが、適宜の数のノードNを備えてもよい。端末T-1及びT-2は、ノードNを介して通信する。
各ノードNが、トランスポート制御サーバS-1から通知される経路情報を設定し、設定された経路情報に従いデータを転送する。
トランスポート制御サーバS-1が、通常時の経路とは別に、障害が発生した際に切り替える予備の経路を事前に計算する。なお、予備経路は、障害種別に応じて、複数計算することができる。ここで、障害は、例えばノードNの障害、通信線路(リンク)の障害、ノードNの輻輳などを含む。
例えば、ノードNのいずれかに障害が発生した時には、トランスポート制御サーバS-1が障害を検知し、障害内容に応じて予備経路情報を選択する。トランスポート制御サーバS-1は、関係するノードNにのみ予備経路情報ID又は予備経路情報を送信して切り替えを指示する。ノードNは、受信した予備経路情報ID又は予備経路情報に応じて経路を切り替える。
トランスポート制御サーバS-1が、予備経路を事前に計算し、記憶する。ノードN-3で障害が発生すると、隣接するノードN-1、N-5が障害を検知し、障害通知をトランスポート制御サーバS-1に送信する。なお、これらの障害の検知及び通知の方法については、従来の適宜の技術を用いることができる。トランスポート制御サーバS-1は、障害に応じた予備経路を選択する。また、トランスポート制御サーバS-1は、選択した予備経路の情報を関係するノードN-1及びN-5にのみ通知する。通知を受けたノードN-1及びN-5は、通知された予備経路の情報に基づいて経路切り替えを行う。
トランスポート制御サーバS-1は、例えば、制御処理部10と、データ記憶部20と、通信IF30を備える。制御処理部10は、例えば、経路生成部11と、経路選択部12と、障害種別判別部13と、障害予測部14と、障害情報取得部15と、経路情報通知部16と、トラフィック情報取得部17を有する。データ記憶部20は、例えば、トポロジ情報記憶部21と、リソース情報記憶部22と、通常経路情報記憶部23と、予備経路情報記憶部24と、トラフィック情報記憶部25と、障害種別判別情報記憶部26を有する。また、トランスポート制御サーバS-1は、入力部をさらに有してもよい。
障害予測部14は、予測される障害箇所をひとつ又は複数特定する。また、予測される障害箇所に従い、トポロジ情報を変更して予測トポロジ情報が求められる。障害予測部14による障害予測(障害発生確率の算出)を行う方法の例として、以下のような方法がある。なお、これらの方法以外にも適宜の手法により、予測される障害箇所を特定してもよい。
装置仕様等に応じて、事前に障害発生確率を設定値としてトランスポート制御サーバS-1に与えておく。例えば、障害予測部14は、ノードN及びノードN間の各リンク毎に障害発生確率が予め設定され、障害発生確率が予め定められた閾値より大きいノードN及びリンクを予測される障害箇所とする。
(2)障害履歴による予測
各ノードN及びノードN間の各リンクの過去の障害イベントの履歴より、障害が発生した回数に応じて障害発生確率を特定する。例えば、データ記憶部20が、ノードN及びノードN間の各リンクの過去の障害イベントの履歴を含む障害履歴情報をさらに記憶しておく。障害予測部14は、障害履歴情報に基づき、障害が発生した回数が予め定められた閾値より大きいノードN及びノードN間のリンクを、予測される障害箇所とする。
(3)トラフィック履歴による予測
ノードN間の各リンクの過去のトラフィック情報の履歴より、トラフィックがリンクの許容帯域を越えた回数に応じて、障害発生確率を特定する。例えば、トラフィック情報取得部17は、各ノードN及びノードN間の各リンクのトラフィック情報を所定のタイミングで取得する。データ記憶部20が、取得されたトラフィック情報の履歴を含むトラフィック履歴情報を記憶しておく。障害予測部14は、該トラフィック履歴情報に基づき、トラフィックが予め定められたリンクの許容帯域を超えた回数を求め、該回数が予め定められた閾値より大きいノードN又はノードN間のリンクを、予測される障害箇所とする。
図示の例では、予備経路情報記憶部24は、予備経路情報IDを介して、予備経路情報IDテーブル24-1と、複数の予備経路情報テーブル24-2を有する。予備経路情報は、例えば、これらのテーブルを用いて、予備経路情報記憶部24に記憶されることができる。なお、予備経路情報記憶部24は、予備経路情報IDを介さずに、ひとつのテーブルで構成してもよい。
予備経路情報IDテーブル24-1は、例えば、障害種別24-11に対応して、関連ノード情報24-12及び予備経路情報ID24-13が記憶される。なお、予備経路情報IDテーブル24-1は、例えば、ひとつの障害種別24-11に対応して、複数の関連ノード情報24-12を記憶でき、各関連ノード情報24-12に対応して予備経路情報ID24-13を記憶することができる。障害種別24-11には、例えば、シーケンシャルな番号、文字など適宜の識別情報を用いることができる。関連ノード情報24-12は、例えば、ノード識別子を記憶する。ノード識別子には、例えば、ノードNを特定する適宜の記号又は文字等を用いることができる。予備経路情報IDには、例えば、シーケンシャルな番号、文字、予備経路情報が記憶された領域を示すアドレスなど適宜の識別情報を用いることができる。
予備経路情報テーブル24-2は、例えば、予備経路情報ID24-21と、予備経路情報が記憶される。ここで、予備経路情報は、例えば、エントリ24-22に対応して予備経路の宛先ノード24-24を含む。エントリ24-22は、例えば、データの最終送達先の端末(宛先)のアドレスを示す。予備経路の宛先ノード24-24は、例えば、予備経路における次ホップのノード識別子を示す。図7は、予備経路情報IDが「001」のものを示すが、予備経路情報記憶部24は、各予備経路情報IDに対応する予備経路情報テーブル24-2を有する。なお、図示の例では、予備経路情報テーブル24-2に通常経路の宛先ノード24-23を含むが、省略することもできる。通常経路の宛先ノード24-23は、通常経路における次ホップのノード識別子を示す。
障害種別判別情報記憶部26は、例えば、障害種別26-1に対応して、障害箇所26-2が記憶される。障害箇所26-2は、例えば、障害の発生が予測されるノードNのノード識別子を記憶する。なお、本実施の形態では、例えば障害種別26-1及び障害箇所26-2を障害種別判別情報と称する。
トポロジ情報とはノードN間の接続状態のことで、例としてOSPFで用いられているLSDB等がある。図9に、送信元(FROM)のノード識別子と、送信先(TO)のノード識別子と、それらを接続するリンク識別子を示す。また、図示の例では、N-1からN-5はノード識別子、L12からL54はリンク識別子を表す。リンク識別子には、例えば、ノードN間の各リンクを特定する適宜の記号又は文字等を用いることができる。図9の接続関係が、トポロジ情報記憶部21に記憶される。
リソース情報記憶部22は、例えば、リンク識別子又はノード識別子22-1に対応して、帯域情報22-2及びバッファ容量22-3などのリソース情報が記憶される。帯域情報22-2は、例えば、リンクの帯域を示す。バッファ容量22-3は、例えば、ノード・インタフェースのバッファ容量を示す。
なお、データ記憶部20に記憶される各情報は、上述のようなテーブル構成を有さず、適宜の形態で記憶されてもよい。
図3を参照して障害発生前後の動作の説明をする。なお、トランスポート制御サーバS-1の動作については、後に詳細に説明する。
図4の処理は、例えば、図3のステップS101~S103に相当する。まず、トランスポート制御サーバS-1が、トポロジ情報とリソース情報を更新する(S201)。例えば、ネットワーク管理者が適宜の入力部を操作し、トランスポート制御サーバS-1がトポロジ情報と、リソース情報の各情報を入力部から入力して、トポロジ情報記憶部21のトポロジ情報と、リソース情報記憶部22のリソース情報を更新する。なお、トポロジ情報とリソース情報は、予めトポロジ情報記憶部21とリソース情報記憶部22に、それぞれ記憶されていてもよい。
まず、トラフィック情報取得部17が、ネットワークから適宜のタイミングでノードN又はノードN間のリンクのトラフィック情報を取得し、予めトラフィック情報記憶部25に格納しておく。
図5の処理は、図3のステップS107~S119の処理に対応する。
ノードNやノードN間のリンクで障害が発生した場合(S301)、障害情報取得部15が、障害通知を受信し、受信した障害通知に含まれる障害箇所の情報を障害種別判別部13に渡す(S303)。例えば、障害情報取得部15は、障害を検知したノードNより、障害箇所の情報を含む障害通知を受信する。障害箇所の情報は、例えば、障害が発生したノードのノード識別子又はリンクのリンク識別子などとすることができる。なお、各ノードにおける障害の検知方法については、ヘルスチェックパケットを送受信するなど適宜の方法を用いることができる。

Claims (11)
- 複数のノードとトランスポート制御サーバを備え、各ノードが前記トランスポート制御サーバから通知される経路情報に従いデータを転送するネットワークシステムにおける前記トランスポート制御サーバであって、
設定されるネットワークのトポロジ情報及びリソース情報に従い通常経路情報を生成し、予測される障害箇所に従い変更された予測トポロジ情報及び予測リソース情報に従い、該障害箇所に障害が発生した際の予備経路情報を予め生成する経路生成部と、
生成された通常経路情報を前記ノードへ通知する経路情報通知部と、
生成された予備経路情報を記憶するデータ記憶部と、
障害の発生を検知する障害情報取得部と
を備え、
前記障害情報取得部が障害の発生を検知すると、前記経路情報通知部が、前記データ記憶部に記憶された予備経路情報を前記ノードに通知する前記トランスポート制御サーバ。 - 前記経路生成部は、
予測される複数の障害箇所毎に予備経路情報を生成し、
予測される障害箇所を示す障害種別に対応して、生成された予備経路情報を前記データ記憶部に記憶する請求項1に記載のトランスポート制御サーバ。 - 前記障害情報取得部が障害の発生を検知すると、発生した障害箇所に対応する障害種別を判別する障害種別判別部と、
判別された障害種別に従い、対応する予備経路情報を選択する経路選択部と
をさらに備え
前記経路情報通知部は、選択された予備経路情報を前記ノードに通知する請求項2に記載のトランスポート制御サーバ。 - 前記データ記憶部は、障害種別に対応して、該障害により経路情報が変更される前記ノードを示す関連ノード情報がさらに記憶され、
前記経路選択部は、判別された障害種別に従い対応する関連ノード情報を特定し、
前記経路情報通知部は、特定された関連ノード情報に応じた前記ノードに対して、選択された予備経路情報を通知する請求項3に記載のトランスポート制御サーバ。 - 前記障害種別判別部は、障害箇所と障害種別が対応して予め記憶された障害種別判別情報を参照し、前記障害情報取得部が検知した障害箇所に対応する障害種別を判別する請求項3に記載のトランスポート制御サーバ。
- 予測される障害箇所を複数特定する障害予測部
をさらに備える請求項2に記載のトランスポート制御サーバ。 - 前記障害予測部は、前記ノード及び該ノード間の各リンク毎に障害発生確率が予め設定され、障害発生確率が予め定められた閾値より大きいノード及びリンクを前記予測される障害箇所とする請求項6に記載のトランスポート制御サーバ。
- 前記データ記憶部は、前記ノード及び該ノード間の各リンクの過去の障害イベントの履歴を含む障害履歴情報がさらに記憶され、
前記障害予測部は、該障害履歴情報に基づき、障害が発生した回数が予め定められた閾値より大きいノード及びリンクを、前記予測される障害箇所とする請求項6に記載のトランスポート制御サーバ。 - 各ノード及びノード間の各リンクのトラフィック情報を取得するトラフィック情報取得部
をさらに備え、
前記データ記憶部は、取得されたトラフィック情報の履歴を含むトラフィック履歴情報がさらに記憶され、
前記障害予測部は、該トラフィック履歴情報に基づき、トラフィックが予め定められた許容帯域を超えた回数又は時間を求め、該回数又は時間が予め定められた閾値より大きいノード又はリンクを、前記予測される障害箇所とする請求項6に記載のトランスポート制御サーバ。 - トランスポート制御サーバと、
前記トランスポート制御サーバから通知される経路情報に従いデータを転送する複数のノードと
を備え、
前記トランスポート制御サーバは、
設定されるネットワークのトポロジ情報及びリソース情報に従い通常経路情報を生成し、予測される障害箇所に従い変更された予測トポロジ情報及び予測リソース情報に従い、該障害箇所に障害が発生した際の予備経路情報を予め生成する経路生成部と、
生成された通常経路情報を前記ノードへ通知する経路情報通知部と、
生成された予備経路情報を記憶するデータ記憶部と、
障害の発生を検知する障害情報取得部と
を有し、
前記障害情報取得部が障害の発生を検知すると、前記経路情報通知部が、前記データ記憶部に記憶された予備経路情報を前記ノードに通知し、
前記ノードは、前記トランスポート制御サーバからの予備経路情報を受信し、通常経路情報を予備経路情報に変更するネットワークシステム。 - 複数のノードとトランスポート制御サーバを備え、各ノードが前記トランスポート制御サーバから通知される経路情報に従いデータを転送するネットワークシステムにおけるトランスポート制御方法であって、
設定されるネットワークのトポロジ情報及びリソース情報に従い通常経路情報を生成するステップと、
予測される障害箇所に従い変更された予測トポロジ情報及び予測リソース情報に従い、該障害箇所に障害が発生した際の予備経路情報を予め生成するステップと、
生成された通常経路情報を前記ノードへ通知するステップと、
生成された予備経路情報を記憶するステップと、
障害の発生を検知するステップと、
障害の発生を検知すると、記憶された予備経路情報をノードに通知するステップと
を含む前記トランスポート制御方法。
