Abstract

Um einen Schraubenverdichter umfassend ein Außengehäuse, ein in dem Außengehäuse angeordnetes Verdichterschraubengehäuse, in welchem Läuferbohrungen für Schraubenläufer angeordnet sind, einen in dem Außengehäuse auf einer Seite des Verdichterschraubengehäuses angeordneten Antrieb, ein in dem Außengehäuse auf einer dem Antrieb gegenüberliegenden Seite des Verdichterschraubengehäuses angeordnetes Lagergehäuse, und einen innerhalb des Außengehäuses angeordneten und vom verdichteten Arbeitsmedium durchströmten Schalldämpfer, derart zu verbessern, dass das den Schraubenverdichter verlassende Arbeitsmedium möglichst wenig Schmiermittel mitführt, wird vorgeschlagen, dass der Schalldämpfer das verdichtete Arbeitsmedium in einem Innenraum, mittels einer Strömungsführung als einen um eine Achse umlaufenden Umlaufstrom führt und dass aus dem Umlaufstrom des Arbeitsmediums durch Zentrifugalkräfte eine Abscheidung von Schmiermittel erfolgt.
