Abstract

Ein Verfahren für die Analyse von Biogas weist als ersten Verfahrensschritt das Abkühlen eines Biogas-Volumenstroms auf eine vorgegebene Temperatur unter Kondensation eines Teils des in dem Biogas enthaltenen Wasserdampfs auf, als zweiten die Beaufschlagung des vorkonditionierten Biogases mit Schallwellen einer gerichteten Schallquelle in einem Messraum (7), als dritten die Messung der Laufzeit über einen vorgegebenen Weg zwischen dem Aussenden und dem Empfang der Schallwellen und als vierten Verfahrensschritt die Bestimmung des Methangehalts und/oder des Kohlenstoffdioxidgehalts in dem Biogas aus der Wellenausbreitungsgeschwindigkeit. Erläutert wird ferner eine Vorrichtung für die Durchführung des Verfahrens.
